Selling my Lx450 aka Toyota Landcruiser. The truck is very clean overall. The exterior shines really nice and there are a few minor chips in the body clad paint. If you are looking at my ad, you probably already know how bullet proof these rigs are. I bought this almost 2 years ago as a toy/winter rig. The last 2 winter have been too mild, and I really don't need 4 vehicles. The wife says the vehicle with the least use has to go.
I looked all over the country for a nice LX or Landcruiser. I chose this one because it was not a total rust bucket underneath. Also, it was lady driven by both prior owners. I'd rather have one that was a soccer mom mobile, than a off-roader. There is no apparent body work & vin tags are all in place. There is a ding on the fuel door, and minor chips a small scratches here and there. Basically what would be expected of a vehicle this age, but It does look very clean overall.
This one does NOT have the front and rear lockers. It has the center locker when 4 low is engaged. Honestly, I'm not taking it rock crawling or taking it down nearly impassable trails. This truck is more than able to handle mother natures wrath and have a little fun here and there.
It has Michelin stock size tires with 90% tread remaining. It has leather interior with 3rd row seating. The front seats are in decent shape. Minor wear and cracking. Not completely ripped or anything like that. The power seats fore and aft travel only works manually. Common problem on the 80 series with fairly cheap fix. I don't move the seats, so I didn't bother. Overall in very nice shape! No check engine lights and starts up and goes with ease. Under the engine there is a bit of oil here and there as very common with all 80 series this age, but doesn't seem to leave any oil on the ground. If it does, it's ever so slight as I don't notice anything where it's parked. The only real maintenance I know of were the scheduled maint. during the first 100k miles and oil changes pretty routinely. The previous owner changed the battery, egr valve, and oil changes. I have done a few oil changes (Castrol GTX 5w30) a coolant flush with {Toyota red} and PCV valve and breather hose. Engine starts up smooth and trans shifts smooth. No knocks, bangs or anything of that nature. Overall, the truck feels and looks like it has 94k miles.
I apologize for the lack of detailed photos, but I have videos and more pictures available. Also, if you would like high resolution pictures of anything on the truck. Please let me know.

Lexus is sending its 2017 RC F GT3 to do battle in the US and Japan
Fri, Jan 13 2017Bare carbon fiber doesn't do much to tone down the swoopy, animal RC F GT3, does it? This is the latest tweak of the Lexus GT3 racer, which appeared in an earlier spec with the American team F Performance Racing. (Incidentally, the team changed its name to 3GT Racing recently to further differentiate itself from Lexus.) The latest RC F racer will compete in IMSA and Super GT racing. Lexus will field two cars in each series. Since GT3 and the Japanese GT300 cars share a spec, this RC F GT3 will race as an RC F GT300 in Japan with the LM Corsa team. On our side of the Pacific, the car will debut at the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 29th, and compete with the aforementioned 3GT Racing team in the GTD category of the IMSA Championship Series. Barring any unannounced changes, the 2,756-pound coupe will pack a front-mounted V8 derived from the production RC F's engine and tuned to deliver over 540 horsepower, depending on series regulations. It should be mentioned that in Japan, the car will race alongside its bigger brother, the LC 500 GT500 car, which we told you about last year. J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead
Wed, 13 Feb 2013
Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
Lexus resurrecting SC name for big, expensive coupe
Mon, Jun 29 2015Lexus is preparing the SC nomenclature for its third act, after the first bombshell SC coupe from 1991 and the second, Desperate Housewives hardtop convertible evolution from 2001. The brand is aiming again for something that makes a deep mark, with rumored specs pointing to a large, heavy, powerful coupe that will square its spindle grille up against the Mercedes SL and BMW 6 Series. It will be built on the frame of the next-generation LS sedan, and Automobile says internal combustion motivation will come in three flavors. The starter will be a juiced-up version of the company's 5.0-liter, naturally aspirated V8, the one that currently makes 467 horsepower in the RC F. Stepping up from there will be some kind of hybrid powertrain good for around 500 horsepower; last year Motor Trend wrote that the hybrid would be based around a V6 ICE with Toyota's coming "multi-hybrid" system. The top step will be a twin-turbo version of the V8 that could exceed 600 hp. Early reports of dimensions have it at 185 inches long, 75 inches wide, and 53 inches tall. It is expected to use the world's first application of a ten-speed automatic transmission. It'll also get the RC F's torque vectoring mechanism for the rear-wheel-drive setup, though Car and Driver says an all-wheel drive option "might be added later." Aluminum and carbon fiber components will help manage weight. Its design will be inspired by the LF-LC concept, and right now its pricing is as murky as its looks. C/D posits an MSRP from $80,000 to $95,000, Automobile figures it will go "past the $100,000 mark," and MT pegs the situation at $150,000. All agree, however, that it will join the retail pipeline as a 2017 model.
