Welcome to a great opportunity. You are viewing a beautiful, incredibly well-maintained and exclusively
Florida-kept 2009 Lexus LS460 Premium Luxury Touring Sedan. This is it. The top-of-the-line. Loaded with every bell
and whistle and cost nearly $81,920 when new. This World-class super luxury car is sexy, sleek, extra-clean and has
been maintained wonderfully. It has been dealer-serviced by the Pro's at the Lexus dealership. What that means is,
this car runs and drives perfectly, and will continue running this way for a long, long time. Perfect and proper
dealer maintenance means a lot! This beautiful Lexus has remained a Florida vehicle its entire life...and it
certainly shows. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest color combinations. Mercury Silver Metallic exterior over
rich Black leather, this luxury touring sedan scream West Palm Beach Social! The exterior is in excellent
condition. Absolutely no dents, scuffs or unsightly parking lot door dings, and the finish is amazing and even has
a dealer-installed thin, black Lexus insignia pinstripe, done at the Lexus dealership. They did this to the models
that were displayed on the showroom floor. Which this one certainly was! Dealer-installed Appearance Package with
rear spoiler and 20-inch aluminum/alloy wheels really sets this one apart! It was a garaged vehicle since new.
Loaded with everything (and I do mean everything) and it runs and drives superbly. The previous owner even had the
$995 3M protection package installed on the front of this sedan that covered the bumper, hood and fenders. He
definitely bought the showroom model, and all the goodies that the dealership had to offer. This Lexus
LS460 has plenty of performance from its powerful 380-horsepower 4.6 liter V8 powerplant with 467 ft/lbs. of
torque and it shifts smoothly and effortlessly. Everything works perfectly and properly, and we have just
serviced this car in our state-of-the-art facility. Carefully owned and maintained, this LS460 looks gorgeous.
Extra-clean interior, perfect leather (with normal wear on the driver's seat--weather its in this car, or your
$4,000 Natuzzi sofa) and a pleasure to drive. This car has never been smoked in. Neither the cigarette lighter, nor
the ashtray have ever been used. And again, Full power options, including, Heated and Cooled power front seats,
Heated rear seats, factory power glass sunroof, and Luxury Package including factory wood steering wheel. High
Power Mark Levinson audio system with multi-disc CD changer, independent electronic climate control, factory
Navigation, front and rear Parking Distance Control, factory security system and so much more. This Lexus is one of
the world's most distinguished luxury sedans. It runs and drives superbly and performs like a dream. The flagship
sedan of Lexus, and the luxury badge (and dependability) of Toyota, the LS has one of the finest interiors in a
class famous for its fine interiors and an extraordinary list of technological innovations. Imagine all the fun
you will have with this sexy and classy sedan, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the
road.

Recharge Wrap-up: Grimsel electric car breaks acceleration world record, electric Ford Raptor ATV debuts
Sun, Nov 16 2014An all-electric version of the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is now available... as an ATV. Made by Caddyshack Golf Cars, it features officially licensed Ford badging borrowed from the super-macho pickup. It has a lifted chassis with leaf springs in the front and rear, hydraulic shocks and off-road tires. Powered by a 48-volt motor, it can do 0-25 mph in 2.9 seconds. Range is an estimated 30 miles - plenty to get you through 18 of the most rugged holes of golf you've ever played. Caddyshack also offers other miniature electric Fords, including a Shelby GT500, Shelby Cobra and 50th Anniversary Mustang. Read more at Green Car Reports. Lexus takes a crack at the BMW i3 in a new video from Funny or Die. In the decidedly anti-EV film, a group of guys drives to Las Vegas for a "dad-chelor party" in a Lexus CT 200h and a BMW i3. The Lexus hybrid makes it to Sin City without any problems, while the BMW's occupants need to make several lengthy stops to charge along the way, missing much of the fun. The video lampoons the inherent range limitations of the EV (the BMW group ends up driving slowly through the desert with no AC or radio to save energy), all in a well produced, if somewhat misguided, short comedy film. Perhaps they should have considered the i3 with a range extender? See the video below, or read more at Green Car Reports. Students from ETH Zurich and Lucerne University have set a new EV acceleration world record. Their "Grimsel" racing car was able to zoom from 0-100 kph (0-62.137 mph) in just 1.785 seconds in less than 30 meters (98.425 feet), crushing the previous record of 2.134 seconds. Even more impressive is that the Grimsel was built by the students themselves, as part of the Formula Student team at the Academic Motorsports Club Zurich. The car weighs just 370 pounds and provides 200 horsepower and 1,202 pound feet of torque from the four hub motors. The Grimsel uses traction control to manage torque for maximum acceleration. See the record acceleration run in the videos below or read more at Gizmag, at Electric Autosport or in the press release from ETH Zurich below. 'grimsel' breaks world record The 'grimsel' electric racing car today broke the previous world record for acceleration in electric cars. The vehicle accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.785 seconds in under 30 metres. The new record was set by students from ETH Zurich and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, who also designed and built the vehicle.
Dubai Police conscript 467-hp Lexus RC F into high-performance stable
Sun, Feb 8 2015The Dubai Police Department has added yet another... um, let's call it unconventional, cop car to its ranks. But rather than an ultra-exotic, mid-engined masterpiece, it's the V8-powered Lexus RC F. Finished in the white-and-green color scheme typical of Dubai's fuzz, the RC F was purchased alongside another Toyota product, a utilitarian Toyota Land Cruiser. While the off-road-ready SUV's purpose seems clear, enforcing the emirate's laws in the areas outside the city, the 467-horsepower Lexus will likely follow in the lead of Dubai's other high-performance offerings, appearing more for publicity and public relations than actual law enforcement. Check out a couple shots of the new cop car up top.
Japanese dealer petitioning Lexus for luxury van [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Mar 2014Used to be that if you wanted a luxury automobile - especially one to be chauffeured around in - your choices were basically limited to a sedan. It could be bigger or smaller, more or less expensive, depending on your needs and budget, but it was always going to have four doors and a trunk. But these days the rich and famous are looking elsewhere for their commodious forms of pampering transportation. There are, of course, the crossovers and SUVs, which only seem to be getting bigger and more expensive thanks to the likes of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover L and upcoming Bentley sport-ute. But luxury vans are becoming the new big thing.
That's the point that one dealer in Japan is trying to make to Toyota. The dealership owner himself reasons that if he's going out on the town, he's likely to take his chauffeured Lexus LS. But if he's taking a few friends along, even the biggest sedan isn't going to cut it. So he takes a Toyota Alphard (pictured above, also known as the Vellfire), a JDM van that's even bigger than a Voxy/Noah or Sienna but hardly a high-end affair. That's why he's asking Lexus to make a luxury van.
The idea may seem a little far-fetched, but isn't without precedent. It didn't take much for Lexus to transform the Land Cruiser into the LX and thus create its first luxury SUV. And as Mercedes has shown with pimped-out versions of the Sprinter and now with the debut of the new V-Class in Geneva, there's clearly a market for it... in some countries, anyway. The only question in our minds is how long it's going to take other luxury automakers to catch on, because let's face it: the Chrysler Town & Country ain't gonna cut it for those used to be driven around in a Maybach.
