2004 LEXUS IS300, 11191 MILES. Bought from the original owner, and have service records since new from the local Lexus dealer and my shop. Mayport Car Care dot com. The dash and center console were very sticky when I bought this car. At my shop we replaced these pieces along with the passenger side airbag with NEW Lexus pieces. I also replaced the wheels, as the paint was blistered. The tires are Kumho Solus that we installed in 2010, at 9800 miles. Everything works on this car. There is a picture of the radio display. it will look like what you see in the picture most of the time, but will work as normal sometime. I have two master keys. The front bumper cover was scuffed when I bought this car, and we removed the cover and had a local body shop repaint it. Next Lexus RX looks ready to roll
Wed, Jan 7 2015Lexus' bread-and-butter crossover, the RX, has been long overdue for a substantial redesign, with the current third-gen crossover entering its sixth year on sale. Considering this, it's no surprise that the fourth-generation RX is well on its way to production readiness, as evidenced by our latest round of spy photos. This new model looks larger than the current RX, like the wheelbase has been stretched, which would likely explain reports that the company was looking at an optional third-row for the mid-sizer. Aesthetically, the Lexus spindle grille is easy to spot, as are its aggressive headlamps. It's unclear based on these images if the RX will adopt the same styling statement seen on the RC, IS and NX, with sharp LED running lamps mounted below the actual headlights, but it certainly seems likely. Besides the design changes, our spies report that Toyota will be working hard to shed weight, likely through the use of aluminum for the doors, hood and rear hatch. Underhood, expect the typical combo of a gas-powered six-cylinder as well as the V6/hybrid setup found in Lexus' 450h models. As for when we could expect to see the next-gen RX, your guess is as good as ours. Geneva is, as always, a candidate, as is April's New York Auto Show. Of course, should we confirm a debut at either show, we'll be sure to let you know. Stay tuned.
Dubai Police conscript 467-hp Lexus RC F into high-performance stable
Sun, Feb 8 2015The Dubai Police Department has added yet another... um, let's call it unconventional, cop car to its ranks. But rather than an ultra-exotic, mid-engined masterpiece, it's the V8-powered Lexus RC F. Finished in the white-and-green color scheme typical of Dubai's fuzz, the RC F was purchased alongside another Toyota product, a utilitarian Toyota Land Cruiser. While the off-road-ready SUV's purpose seems clear, enforcing the emirate's laws in the areas outside the city, the 467-horsepower Lexus will likely follow in the lead of Dubai's other high-performance offerings, appearing more for publicity and public relations than actual law enforcement. Forza Horizon announces January Recaro Car Pack with LFA N"urburgring Edition
