Up for sale is the rare Lexus GX470 Sports Edition. Maybe the only one being offered on Ebay. I am the second owner.  Besides being Fully loaded, the Sports Edition comes with :

-Birds Eye Maple interior accents on the steering wheel and instrument panel and shift knob.   This makes the standard wood trim look cheap in comparison.
-Dark graphite finish on the instrument panel
-Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS).  Gives the vehicle enhanced dynamics on and off-road.  You can feel a the difference with models without this option.

Other options included:

- Rear Entertainment system. For which i still have the included remote control and wireless headphones .
- Bluetooth Connectivity :  Connect your iphone or any bluetooth enabled phone and have hands free voice conversations
- Mark Levinson Stereo System:  Awesome Sound, very clear and loud.
- Navigation System
- 3rd row seating
- Downhill Assist Control
- Hill Start Assist
- Adjustable Height Control
- Tire Pressure Monitor
- 270 HP V8:  This was an upgrade, prior to 2005 the engine had 236 HP.

The car had the extended Lexus Certified Pre-Owned Warranty and was well taken care of.  Most of the service was done at the Lexus Dealership besides a couple of Oil Changes. Tires are in good condition.

There are three blemishes I feel are worth mentioning.  One is a 2x3 inch area on the bottom of the passenger side door where the clear coat that is over the paint has pealed.  The second is some scratch marks that didnt make it through the clear coat on the passenger side section of the rear fender.   The third is some type of road rash on one of the wheels.  I have posted pictures of all three of these. The car has never had  any body work, paintwork, touchups of any kind done.  Never been smoked in, and never been in any accidents.

Note:  I had to re-list the vehicle, by mistake i had put in the wrong vin before, my apologies.

The Lexus Sriracha IS is the hottest Lexus ever

Wed, Nov 16 2016

For this year's Los Angeles auto show, Lexus created its hottest IS ever: the Sriracha IS. And the company did so by putting Sriracha sauce in everything! It's in the paint, the steering wheel, and even in the trunk! Check out the video if you don't believe us. Ok, so Lexus didn't really put Sriracha in everything. In reality, the company partnered with Huy Fong Foods to produce this one-off car, and turned to West Coast Customs to execute it. It features a custom paint job designed to emulate the look of Sriracha sauce, and green accents on the grille, mirrors, brake calipers, and exhaust tips are a call back to the food company's sauce bottles. View 13 Photos Inside, West Coast Customs created some clever and surprisingly subtle changes. The climate controls only show increasing heat levels, and the seat heater buttons are bright red with little flames above the seat icons. The drive selector trades sport mode for "Sriracha" mode. The seats get red and green inserts along with logos stitched into the seat backs. Other parts of the interior have green contrast stitching, too. The steering wheel is a particularly unique piece. West Coast Customs found a liquid that looks similar to sriracha, put it a resin container and shaped it to fit the steering wheel, so now it looks like there's sriracha in the steering wheel. It also has a warning sticker for "hot handling." And lest you think there isn't any real Sriracha anywhere in the car, you'll find 43 bottles of the stuff in the trunk, and the key fob dispenses some as well. As for how Lexus tops this, perhaps they could make a habanero or ghost pepper car. Or maybe they could show us a real IS F successor. We think another V8 Lexus would come across as pretty hot. Lexus LC 500 coming to Detroit Auto Show

Sun, Dec 6 2015

Believe it or not, it's been nearly four years since we first saw the Lexus LF-LC Concept. Its swoopy style and spindle grille kicked off a big design revolution for Lexus, and we saw a number of LF-LC design elements work their way onto production cars. But now, rumor has it a full-on production version will see the light of day, and soon. Motoring.com.au says the LC 500 coupe will show its face at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show in January, and we have little reason to doubt this. In fact, it's kind of been a long time coming. The LC was reportedly approved for production in 2013, and though we were told it might resurrect the SC name, Lexus filed copyright applications for "LC 500" and "LC 500h." Oh, and a prototype of this car was recently spotted testing. The LC 500 will arrive with – no surprise here – Lexus' naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8, plucked from the RC F and GS F. That said, Motoring says it could arrive with a new, 10-speed automatic transmission from Aisin. As for the LC 500h, Motoring thinks it'll be powered by a, 3.5-liter V6-based hybrid drive system that could produce something like 470 horsepower – not the current V6/hybrid unit from the GS 450h. A hotter LC F should follow in a couple of years, and earlier reports suggest it could make something like 600 horsepower. Of course, Lexus refuses to comment on future product speculation, so we don't have any official proof that this is actually happening. But it all makes a lot of sense. Watch this space in two months' time for more details.
