Year:2006 Mileage:125000
Location:

Selling a 1 owner owned Lexus GS. It has absolutely every option on it that was available back in 2006 including goodies like Bluetooth, Keyless entry, Push-Button Start, Navigation, Bi-Xeon Headlamps, Blind-Spot warning systems, touch screen for radio presets, AC/Heating, Heated Seats, Memory Seats, Sunroof, the list goes on. etc. All of these things are in perfectly working order.

Pricing this much lower than blue book mainly b/c its in fair cosmetic condition. Not a ton of issues but there are some markings, dents and clear coat scrapings you need to know about.  Please see the disclosure section for more detail and take a close look at the pics as I took pictures of all that.  It's not a big deal to most but I'm psycho about car care. Also see the disclosure part for a description of mechanical.  Some dash lights just came on but the car is running the same as it has been.

New stuff and/or good stuff recently added:
-Brand new (like 3 months old) Yokohama tires were put on (all 4 wheels) which is about $1600 right there. See the pics
-New Brake Pads put on about 3 months ago.
-Brand new windshield wipers put on 1 month ago

Serious buyers only please. Sold as is and sale is final. Thanks

Lexus pushing upmarket as others move down, LF-LC production hinted [w/video]

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Jeff Bracken, Lexus' US group vice president and general manager, knows his company lost its position as America's biggest luxury brand back in 2011, and it's a mantle that his employer probably won't be getting back any time soon. That's because Lexus is electing not to follow the luxury segment's downmarket trend any more than its $32,500 CT 200h hybrid hatchback. "Since we won't be going down below $30,000, it will be very difficult for us to ever regain luxury leadership," Bracken admitted on Autoline After Hours late last week.
Rivals Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi all have new low-end entries on sale or in the wings to entice new buyers and fortify their CAFE scores, but Lexus has Toyota and Scion to capture sales underneath its lineup. Instead, Bracken hints that Lexus is going upmarket and higher-performance, fueling ongoing rumors of a LFA successor, or perhaps a new offering based on the lauded 2012 LF-LC coupe concept shown above, a production version of which could also slot in where the unloved SC convertible left off. "We need to begin bringing to market luxury performance... higher performance vehicles. IS-F certainly was the beginning of that, maybe on the lower end," says Bracken.
Later in the online video interview show, Bracken gets even more candid:

Lexus' Detroit reveal is RC F, will have 460-hp V8

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Yesterday, we brought you the image above, sent out by Lexus, teasing its Detroit Auto Show reveal. At the time, all we knew about the car was that it's a coupe, and falls into the automaker's F performance line. But now, some more details have leaked.
An anonymous tipster passed us a link to this website, which Lexus is using to invite folks to an event at the Detroit show where the new RC F coupe will be revealed. But that same tipster also sent us a scan of the mailed-out invitation, shown at right (click the image to enlarge), which clearly states that the RC F will be powered by a 460-horsepower V8. The invite also says Lexus will show its 2015 RC 350 coupe in Detroit, following its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in November.
We cannot totally verify the authenticity of the scanned invitation, but with a corresponding website live on the web, it all looks pretty legit to us. Stay tuned for more details closer to the RC F's debut in January.
