No Reserve! One Owner, Leather, Sunroof, Heated Seats, Cd Changer, Xenon Lights! on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this Pristine 2002 Lexus
ES300. This vehicle is in fantastic condition and drives amazingly!
This vehicle is also a ONE OWNER vehicle. Unfortunately, this vehicle was involved in
a fresh-water flood and is being sold with a Connecticut salvage title. We are not
sure
why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any
water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with
all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and
button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no
reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage
title. I have the damage report from the insurance company and all it shows is that the carpeting needed to be cleaned or replaced. We took out the carpeting and cleaned it all professionally and reinstalled it. There was no damage done to this vehicle what so ever.
This Lexus is
super
clean and has a Pearl Blue exterior with tan leather interior
that is super clean. The leather seats are in like new condition
and they are also fully powered and heated. This ES300 just
turned 79k
miles (which is extremely low for this year) and it runs and drives
fantastically. All these miles are out of
state highway miles and it shows. This ES300 has the 3.0 Liter
engine,
which is a 6 cylinder engine that is powerful and gets amazing
gas mileage. The drive is so smooth, its like
floating on a
cloud. Every
feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The
air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat is as hot as you
could want it to be. This vehicle is ready for its
new owner and needs nothing at all done to it. This is a nice example
of an all original, fully loaded, low mileage, super clean Lexus.
And
they are
hard to find like this loaded up with all these options. This car has
almost every possible option available.
This Lexus is loaded up with all the right options. It has
full leather interior with dual power seats, dual heated seats, glass
moonroof, fog lights, xenon headlamps, In-dash 6 Disc CD changer, wood trimming with leather wrapped steering wheel, alloy
wheels with nice tires, power windows, power locks, power mirrors,
cruise control, premium sound system, digital clock, all digital
controls, ICE cold AC, traction control, and soo much more. This Lexus
has it all. This ES300
comes with the original Lexus Key. We also have all the owners manuals and booklets, and the unused spare
tire, tool kit, and jack. The tool kit is
pretty much complete as well. Its all
there. This vehicle
was
very well cared for and it
shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is
reliable and runs like a dream. The car has all matching tires
all around. We have driven it 1000 miles and it seems to be running and
driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000
miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and
transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and
good windshield wiper blades. The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and
glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The body is in
above average condition and there is no real blemishes to point out on
this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well,
especially for its
age. The paint shines like glass. There is a small crack on the passengers side rear view mirror housing. Its not bad at all and it does not affect the way the mirror works. But we are just being honest about everything. The
interior of
the
vehicle is also super clean. The seats
have no cracks or rips and the leather is very firm and supple. The
dash and door panels are also very nice and clean. All the
leather trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The
interior is great condition in my
opinion. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the
buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering
a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and
test drive it, you are
more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the
buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my
local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped
to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within
24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in
full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other
arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said,
feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any
questions or concerns.
Thanks and good luck

Houston repair shop disappears and takes man's Lexus with it
Mon, Feb 13 2017A man in Houston, Texas, is out his sweet new Lexus after the small-time repair shop he took it to just up and disappeared along with his car last month. According to KPRC, Randy Exom purchased a Lexus ES300 back in November and immediately took it to On Site Auto Repair in Northwest Houston to deal with some used car issues. To pay for the work, Exom set up a bi-weekly payment plan with the shop's owner. This arrangement worked out fine until January 19, when Exom showed up to make his payment and discovered that the shop had disappeared. "Everything was going fine up until I came there to make a payment and there was an eviction sign posted, sign on the door, and the regular cars that were in the lot weren't there anymore," Exom told KPRC. Eventually, he was able to reach the shop's owner to get an explanation but it wasn't the one he wanted. "I gave him a call and I said, 'Hey, there's an eviction notice here. Did you move?' He said, 'Yeah, I'm at 59 and Little York now." The fact that the owner didn't give him an exact address raised some alarms, and upon further review it seems that Exom's suspicions were justified. It turns out that the shop's owner, Shawn Gee, has a history of shady automotive dealing. Last fall, KPRC reported cases of cars going missing from a shop at 59 and Little York. That shop, which is now closed, was owned by Gee's brother. On February 10, Exom finally found his car in an impound lot with the rest of the cars from Gee's shop nearly a full month after it went missing. He told KPRC that the impound lot wants $800 to release his car. He told reporters that he wished Gee had called him and worked the situation out like a real businessman. "My thing is my car was in your possession and you should have made some type of contact with me and say, 'Hey this is what's going on, sir,'" he said. KPRC reached Gee by phone on February 10 and he declined to give an on-camera interview. He did confirm the eviction and said that he was working with customers to get their impounded vehicles back. Toyota amalgamates motorsports divisions under Gazoo Racing
Fri, Apr 10 2015Toyota has more racing divisions than we could wave a checkered flag at, with the company's various motorsport activities all coordinated by different operations. But the Japanese industrial giant is now bringing most (if not all) of them under one roof. From here on in, any racing that was done under the Toyota Racing, Lexus Racing or Gazoo Racing banners will now be united under the latter. That includes the LFAs it races around the Nurburgring, the TS040 Hybrid it fields at Le Mans and in the World Endurance Championship, the Yaris it will soon throw at the World Rally Championship, the Lexus racers that compete in the Super GT championship back in Japan... the works. The move does not appear to affect Toyota Racing Development, the automaker's American arm that handles its NASCAR racing activities, but from here on out, any Toyota or Lexus you see racing on most anything but a speedway will be competing under Gazoo Racing. The move appears to be more than symbolic and semantic, putting its racing vehicle development, technical support and marketing activities in the hands of the new Motor Sports Group. In announcing the consolidation, Toyota highlights in particular the benefit its various racing programs bring to its talent pool, if not the direct effect they have on the company's vehicles themselves. Toyota Racing, Lexus Racing and GAZOO Racing Unite Under GAZOO Racing Toyota City, Japan, April 9, 2015-Starting April 11, Toyota will unite all motorsports activities under GAZOO Racing. The move will clarify the role of Toyota's motorsports in its efforts to make ever-better cars and foster new generations of car enthusiasts. Until now, Toyota has participated in competitions around the world-including the World Endurance Championship (WEC), the Super GT in Japan, and the Nurburgring 24 Hours endurance race-through the separate Toyota Racing, Lexus Racing and GAZOO Racing teams. Of those, GAZOO Racing in particular was created to expand the role of promoting motorsports beyond that of traditional automakers, and carry out grassroots activities aimed at creating new and ever-growing generations of car enthusiasts. Concerning today's announcement, Toyota President Akio Toyoda said: "Our founder Kiichiro Toyoda once said that motorsports are vital to the evolution of car making and the entire auto industry.
2017 LC 500 is the future of Lexus [w/video]
Mon, Jan 11 2016The 2017 LC 500 shows where Lexus is headed. In this case it's not just a flashy grille and a big engine like earlier Lexus efforts. This time every facet of the engineering went into making the car handle better, and the styling and engineering were developed hand in hand. It won't set any sales records, but it will win a lot of eyeballs. Why is Lexus making another coupe? That's a fair question, as slow-selling two doors don't do much to improve market share. The reason for the LC is to make a statement, both in terms of style and engineering. It looks remarkably close to the 2012 LF-LC concept. And underpinning the taut styling is a new global architecture that will underpin future cars like the LS. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. The LC 500 is Toyota's way of saying, yet again, that it's serious about reforming the Lexus reputation into one that include performance and style. On paper the 467-horsepower, 5.0-liter V8 (the same as in the RC F and GS F) performance claim looks like sloppy handwriting, but Lexus claims a 0-60 time of less than 4.5 seconds. Rumors abound that more power will come to the LC lineup in a few years, most likely in some kind of turbocharged form. Backing up the engine is a ten-speed transmission. Yes, ten. Lexus claims the gearbox is nearly as fast as a dual-clutch automatic, and that the overall size is smaller than some eight speed 'boxes. Underpinning the LC is an all new structure that includes carbon fiber reinforced plastic, aluminum, and high-strength steel. Torsional rigidity is said to be better than the all-carbon fiber LF A supercar. We're worried the ride could be on the stiff side, with run flat tires on both standard 20-inch wheel and the optional 21-inch wheels seen on the show car. All hope for retaining a pleasant ride lies with the suspension, which is nearly all aluminum. But as we mentioned, this car is skewed towards performance, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on show car promised new levels of lateral grip for a big Lexus. What's more promising is the claim that Lexus spend triple the standard time developing the steering feel and handling. This could be the best-handling Lexus ever, but don't expect the LC 500 to be a Porsche 911 competitor. Preconceptions aside, the LC is bigger than a Carrera and that alone dictates a different character. The Lexus is closer to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and BMW 6 Series in size.
