I have decided to sell my 1995 Range Rover LWB County Classic which we use as a 3rd car. This is a rare vehicle to find because it originally came from California and spent all of it's time in Arizona so there is no rust to speak of and the chrome looks brand new. The exterior paint in incredible and it has a new headliner as well. The brown leather is in great condition (no rips or tears) and as you can see I have taken very good care of this car and has been garaged since purchase. The air suspension has been converted to springs and I added on front driving lights, running boards and 4 mud flaps. I had the body paint sand washed and polished and in this process they removed the rear decals. I prefer without the decals but they are available after market online in a roll on kit that a body shop can apply. The kit is about $120 from what I have seen.

In terms of mechanical condition, the lifters may need an adjustment or be replaced at some point but my Rover mechanic says these vehicles may be driven for some time with this issue present. I have recently moved from Louisiana to Texas. Louisiana doesn't require catalytic converters for this year so I have opted for straight exhaust on the vehicle and have not encountered a sensor issue. You may need a catalytic converter in your state. Catalytic converter kits are about $640 for this vehicle. Rear transfer case may need the seal replaced at some point- is not leaking or dripping but there is some seepage which mechanic says is normal for this age and mileage and does not merit attention currently. But keep an eye on it. This seal job would be around $240. It's an older British vehicle so things will come up. Inspection sticker valid until September 2014.

Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia

The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.

This Ford F-150 might have a Land Rover turbodiesel V6

Our spy photographers just caught this Ford F-150 driving around Dearborn, wearing camouflage around the bed – not so unusual near Ford's headquarters. What's interesting with this particular mule is that it might be packing a Jaguar-Land Rover turbodiesel V6. As with the Super Duty, the F-150 prototype pictured here sports a Venturi exhaust tip popping out the side of the rear bumper behind the wheel, which Â– along with the sound reported by our shutterbug Â– suggests that it's burning oil up front. That could mean Ford has found another application for the 3.2-liter, five-cylinder Power Stroke diesel that it just federalized for the Transit van. However our sources suggest what the mule is actually powered by the 3.0-liter Lion V6 diesel that Jaguar Land Rover Â– once subsidiaries in Ford's Premier Automotive Group Â– is bringing over for the Td6 models of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. The engine produces a respectable 254 horsepower and a healthy 443 pound-feet of torque, and is tipped to be mated to the same ten-speed automatic transmission as the new Raptor. That could give the F-150 the kind of fuel economy and muscle it would need to challenge the likes of the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and the heavier-duty Nissan Titan with the Cummins engine. With gas prices as low as they are, however, and sales of diesel-powered vehicles lagging, Ford could just be trying to keep up with the competition by offering a light-duty diesel pickup. With its lightweight aluminum body, the diesel F-150 could even surpass the Duramax diesel-powered Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon for frugality at the pumps, according to Mark Williams of PickupTrucks.com. He told Autoblog that, "it makes perfect sense for Ford to do a diesel. It seems like everyone is pushing them to do a Ranger, but if they can get the F-150 to push 30 mpg it can challenge the Ram Ecodiesel and even the Colorado Duramax." Reached for comment, Ford spokesman Mike Levine sent us the following statement: "We do not speculate about future products. While diesel is a solution, it is not the solution. EcoBoost offers the ideal combination of performance and fuel economy that over 60 percent of F-150 customers are choosing."
