2000 Land Rover Discovery No Reserve on 2040-cars
Norwalk, Connecticut, United States
|
WILL BE SOLD NO RESERVE. Up for auction is a nice 2000 Land Rover discovery. I am selling it because I bought a newer model. I purchased this 3 months ago, and then came across a newer one for cheap so I'm selling this one my loss your gain. The following items have been replaced; spark plugs, spark plugs wires, oil filter, air filter , intake manifold gasket, ignition coils are all new. The valve covers have a small oil leak nothing major, just minor. The tires have about 50% tread on them. No large damage to the interior, only minor wear and tear that occurs for a 14 year old vehicle, but seats all are good no tears or rips, which is a good thing. There is no check engine light on, there is 164980 miles on it so at pick up it should be the same, plus 3 or 4 miles for me to move it around. The only minor defect I know of, is the rear passenger window does not work. This SUV is equipt with a second sunroof in the rear, therefore there are two sunroofs. There is a CD magazine under the passengers front seat so you can play music. The exterior has its normal wear and tear for a 14 year old vehicle but in pretty good condition, no major dents or scratches, the brush guard has a few small rust spots and there also is a rust spot over the windshield other then that, its in pretty good condition. It has tow package for towing. I am not driving the vehicle every day because it is not registered so there may be some other small things that could be wrong that I haven't found yet but I guarantee it doesn't effect the drivability of the car. Now for all the payment and shipping stuff, deposit is required within 24 hours if deposit is not sent it will be relisted after 24 hours. The truck will be held for 3 days after auction, then it will be relisted unless we have agreed on something different and there is no shipping. I will make myself available when it needs to be picked up but buyer pays and arranges pickup. |

10 best new car deals in late September 2021
Wed, Sep 29 2021New car sales were drastically affected in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but things started to show signs of recovery toward the end of the year before really coming on strong in the early months of 2021. Now there's an ongoing shortage of microchips causing a great deal of pricing fluctuation and a limited supply of certain vehicles. That doesn't mean there aren't still great deals on new cars, though. Using data provided by TrueCar, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best automotive deals for September 2021. WeÂ’ve noted the original MSRP, the average transaction price, and the total savings in both dollars and as a percentage of the original sticker price. Basically, weÂ’ve done all the hard work for you! So now, all you need to do is compare deals, go on a few test drives, and maybe drive away in a great car (and an even better bargain).
Fully Charged rolls into season 3 with VW XL1 and electric Land Rover
Sat, Jan 18 2014It's been some time since last we visited with British actor and electric car proponent Robert Llewellyn and his web-based video series, Fully Charged. The show, now sponsored by Ecotricity, has started rolling out its third season and now has available two episodes featuring a pair of truly unique – and diametrically opposed – vehicles. The first installment starts with some interesting numbers involving the host's Nissan Leaf and its energy consumption over the past 36,000 miles, but soon moves on to the ultra-aero, ultra-expensive Volkswagen XL1. Now, if you've already seen the footage from our own XL1 first drive review, there's not a lot new here except, perhaps, more enthusiasm and a better listen of the two-cylinder diesel kicking in. Still, it's a great reminder of a truly unique vehicle and we enjoyed the segment. The second episode features an electrified Land Rover Defender 110. This is a vehicle you'd more likely see on an African safari than at the local mall. It's not a home-built conversion either, but rather, something the company has put together "for the boffins to create the ideas and see if they work." Boasting a 50-mile range, it's certainly something we like to take on an off-road adventure. Llewellyn is given the chance to do just that, and though the course is somewhat milder than what we might attempt, it does feature a stretch of river and some rough, rutted tracks. You can watch both episodes by scrolling below let us know which vehicle you'd prefer in the comments. This writer is going with the four-wheel-drive. This content is hosted by a third party. Jaguar Land Rover UK factories could shut down in two weeks due to coronavirus
Tue, Feb 18 2020COVENTRY, England — Jaguar Land Rover has enough parts from China to maintain its British production for the next two weeks but not beyond that at the moment, Chief Executive Ralf Speth said on Tuesday. Britain's biggest carmaker, which operate three car factories in its home market, joined major global companies such as Apple in warning of the impact of the virus on supply chains. The rapidly spreading virus has killed nearly 1,900 in China and stricken some 72,000 people, confining millions to their homes, disrupting supply chains and delaying reopening of factories after the extended Lunar New Year holiday break. "We are safe for this week and we are safe for next week and in the third week we have... parts missing," said Speth when asking about the potential impact on British production. He said the firm's Chinese factory would open next week and was "safe for the very first week." Sales were not currently happening in China and it was unclear when they would return, he added. The boss of Tata Motors, JLR's parent company, speaking at the same event, said the company does not have sufficient visibility regarding parts suppliers from China. "We are safe for the month of February and for a good part of March," said Guenter Butschek. "Are we fully covered at this point of time for the full month of March? Unfortunately...not."
