This is a 100% original factory spec 1983 Land Rover 110 V8 Stationwagon. Original chassis, original engine, original bodywork, original interior, original left hand drive. So there will be no problems with customs, this one is legal to import to the US!

We have sold this car to one of our customers in 2007, and they have used it daily since than. Now we are selling it on behalf of our customer.

The car is in an unrestored original condition. So it doesn't look like a new one but it really is in a very good condition for an unrestored car. The car has little rust, the rust that is present is only superficial. The engine was reconditioned a year ago, and it runs like a new one. Very smooth and good on power. Gearbox, brakes, suspension, steering, everything works like it should.

The paintwork is not nice, the front of the car has been repainted in an unprofessional way, and there are some smaller dents. The right front door has a bigger dent.

The door frames have some rust.

The car is fitted with an LPG system, this all works like it should and the car runs perfect on LPG. I'm not sure if this is allowed to import in the US, we can remove the system if required.

Jaguar F-Type SVR and Range Rover Evoque Convertibles go rainbow for Pride

Sat, Jun 29 2019

BMW isn't the only automobile company getting involved in Pride Week, as Jaguar Land Rover announced it also has cars that will participate. And yes, they're convertibles with rainbow stripes. On Sunday, June 30, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) will participate in the NYC Pride March with several themed vehicles and employees walking next to them. JLR chose two of its most intriguing vehicles in the Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible and the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Jaguar unveiled two different F-Type SVRs, one in a gorgeous blue and the other in white. Both cars have the same detailing, though, including rainbow stripes on the the sides, rear bumpers, and hoods. The F-Types also have rainbow stripes across the tops of their windshields, and "JAG YOU ARE" decals across the windshields and rear bumpers. The silver Evoque is only slightly different. It, too, has rainbow stripes across its doors, rear bumper, and windshield. Rather than a "JAG YOU ARE" decal, however, "EVOQUE" is spread across the front bumper in rainbow lettering. You can check out these unique models at the Pride parade in NYC.

Land Rover knows where you're going and how you want to get there

Thu, 10 Jul 2014

Land Rover makes some of the most capable SUVs on or off the road, and some of the most luxurious too. But the British automaker isn't about to rest on those laurels - not when every other automaker assaults its territory with sport-utes of their own. That's why Land Rover has been working so hard on nifty new technologies from a depth-sounder in the door mirror of the Range Rover Sport an augmented-reality head-up display that makes the whole front of the car virtually disappear.
JLR's newest tech may not be ground-breaking, but its integration promises to make driving around town that much easier. The system syncs with the driver's smartphone and uses all manner of parameters - including driver habits, weather and location as well as the presence of other passengers - to make the commute go as smoothly as possible. Get into the car and it'll set the seat and mirrors for you. No big deal, because lots of cars do that. But it'll also set up the nav system to take you to work and the sound system to play your favorite music. Okay, getting more interesting.
Get in with your kids and it'll know not only that you've got to drop them off at school first (or remind you to pack their gym bag if they've got soccer practice after school that day) but that they might not enjoy that Chumbawamba album you've been listening to since college and it'll play something it knows you'll all enjoy based on your listening history. Then it'll switch back to Tubthumping once the kids are out, remind you of your morning meeting and alert those you're scheduled to meet with if you get stuck in traffic while finding you a better route to get there, monitoring fuel levels all the while and telling you if you'll need to tank up before you reach your destination. It knows if you like calling your mother on the drive to work and will lower the air suspension to make it easier to hop out once you get there.
