06 Land Range Rover Hse Fullsize 4x4 Awd 4wd Clean Supercharged Look No Reserve on 2040-cars
Waterford, Michigan, United States
2006 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER FULL SIZE HSE NO RESERVE AUCTION STARTING AT $1 Highest bidder owns it! Up for sale is the wife's Range Rover.
I originally bought this car for my wife. Only the best for her! The only problem is she doesn't like the gas millage its not that bad for the size it still gets about 18 mpg highway. She was used to a V6 Mercedes Benz R class. So now its up for sale ,you know what they say Happy wife happy life. Mechanically this is a very healthy car. There are no dash lights on no codes pull up. She runs drives shifts ect... like it is still a brand new car and she looks like it too. When you buy a luxury car like this it better be! You may find cheaper ones out there that are not healthy need a few things. By the time you get them fixed up to be as nice as this one already is you've spent more than you would have just a healthy one and you have to go through all the headache of getting it repaired. This SUV is as close to flawless as you are going to find for any 2006 vehicle. It is very clean inside and out. There is small scratch in the plastic in front of the driver side wheel well. a few light scratches on the door 2 pea sized dings on rear wheel well. Most of this you probably wont notice without me pointing out but I want you to know everything about the car your buying. Its why I have included over 60 pictures of the car inside and out. I did give it and upgrade to the Supercharged style. That includes the Front Grill, both side vents, and the taillights. Only thing i didn't do was the emblems they are about $20 shipped here on ebay if you want to make it look completely like the Supercharged Range Rover which are considerable more expensive model. Even used of this year they cost about $10,000 more than these sell for. You might think I'm crazy for listing a high end car like the Range Rover here on eBay for $1 and not putting a reserve. I probably am It may end up going for thousands less than what its worth, but I feel confident enough that as nice as it is it should go for a fair price. Not hiding anything with the car the condition it speaks for itself. I have tried to list everything I can think of about the car good and bad. I also included pictures of everything and lots of them. I want the new buyer to be happy with the car and not have any disappointments when you get it. If there is anything you want to know please ask me I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have, get you more pictures of the car. If your are a able to i defiantly recommend coming to see the car and take it for a test drive. If your not local I'll do my best to address any concerns you have. If your willing to pay for an inspection I will even drop it off at a local dealership so they can look at it for you. If you do have any questions or want more information about anything feel free to message me here on ebay or give me a call or text at 248-747-2196 PICTURES: Remember its the one who bids HIGHEST who WINS not the one who bids last, don't wait till the last minute and miss out! I have made that mistake before! Good Luck and have fun! |

Jaguar Land Rover recalls Takata airbag-equipped cars
Fri, Aug 5 2016In the latest chapter of what feels like the never-ending recall, Jaguar Land Rover announced that it's calling back 2009-2011 Jaguar XFs and 2007-2011 Land Rover Range Rovers for defective Takata airbags on the front passenger side. These Takata airbags have propellant that may have degraded and, if activated, could release metal shrapnel. The company is breaking up the recall into four phases, since currently there are not enough parts to do a full recall. Since the airbags can be more seriously affected by high heat and humidity, the first phase will cover vehicles that were sold and/or registered in regions with high temperatures and humidity. The regions included are as follows: Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and the US Virgin Islands. Other phases will begin as parts become available, and priority will be given to regions at greater risk of having defective equipment. Jaguar Land Rover encourages owners of affected vehicles to go to www.SaferCar.gov to check if their vehicle is included in the current recall. The first phase includes 54,000 of 108,000 affected vehicles. The company is also notifying owners of the issue, who will eventually get a second notification when parts are available so they can schedule a time to have the airbags replaced. Related Video:
Jaguar Land Rover releases a vintage-looking infotainment system for classics
Fri, Sep 7 2018Jaguar and Land Rover have a new option for owners of its older vehicles: a touchscreen infotainment system. Much like the Porsche classic infotainment head unit released a few years ago, this one tries to blend in with its interior surroundings. Five distinct designs of these "Classic Infotainment Systems" are offered in an effort to have an option that fits well with the interior of any particular car offered by Jag or Land Rover over the past few decades. Chrome and black options are available for Jaguars, while brushed aluminum and black are the choices for Land Rovers. The infotainment system has navigation with 2D or 3D maps and Bluetooth audio. Sure, you don't need to stream Spotify in a 1970s Land Rover, but now you can. Jaguar says it'll offer much higher quality sound with a 4 x 45 watt output from the single DIN head unit, but you might need to upgrade those ancient speakers to actually take advantage of it. There's no mention of satellite radio like Porsche's unit offers, unfortunately. It is a radio though, so we get both AM and FM functionality. Jaguar says it's "compatible with negative earth vehicles" (newer vehicles use negative grounding systems) and retails for $1,796 before taxes in the U.S. You can buy and have it professionally fitted at an "authorized" Jaguar or Land Rover dealer if you'd like as well. It's easy to shake your fist at such a device for classic cars, but this head unit tried hard to be an elegant piece — we're still not sure about slotting it into an old E-Type though... Here are U.S. specific model fitments: Jaguar XJ40; XJS; XJ Series 3 Sedan Land Rover Defender 90, 110; Range Rover Classic (93-96); Discovery 1 (94-98); Freelander (97-04) Related Video: Featured Gallery Jaguar Land Rover Classic Infotainment System News Source: Jaguar Jaguar Land Rover Technology Infotainment
A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]
Thu, Dec 18 2014Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
