This is my personal 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 5 Door.  I purchased it brand new from a local Land Rover dealer.  The vehicle has been maintained in absolute pristine condition.  It has never been in any accident.  The paint is in perfect condition (no dents, dings, chips, etc.).  The only, and I mean ONLY, defect to the entire vehicle is some slight curb rash on the driver front rim from an unseen rock next to a parking space.  And I have already scheduled an appointment at the Land Rover dealership to have this repaired/replaced on January 20th.  So the vehicle will be in perfect condition when you take ownership.  This is your chance to buy a fully loaded, practically brand new vehicle at a used car price.

I am single with no children -- the rear seat has literally only been sat in once because I wanted to see what it was like.  That's it.

This vehicle has had the most recent Land Rover Service Action completed on December 6, 2014.  It also received its first service during that appointment which includes an oil change, fluid top off (brake, coolant, windshield washer), pollen filter replacement, and a check of all major systems and components by Land Rover.  This vehicle has only been serviced that one time (as scheduled per Land Rover) and only by Land Rover certified mechanics.  So once again, everything is set and ready to go for you.

This vehicle carries the balance of the factory 4 year / 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Now for the good stuff...

This vehicle has every, and I mean EVERY, option available for 2013 installed except for the rear seat entertainment system.  (Again, no kids so no reason.)  This vehicle has:

Pure Premium Xenon Package which includes the camera system (not just a back up camera, but front and side cameras as well -- very cool), HD navigation system (so no discs needed), 17 speakers, 825 watt sound system, virtual 10 CD changer (you load a CD and the vehicle copies the music to a HD so you never need the CD again), Xenon headlights, passive entry (with the key on your person you can walk up and open a locked door without having to press any unlock button), voice control, and more.  This package cost $6000.

Climate Comfort Package which includes heated seats, heated steering wheel (very nice!), heated windshield (just like a rear defroster but it covers the entire surface of the front windshield -- melts ice like butter), and heated washer jets.  This package cost $1000.

Sirius and HD Radio ($750).

Advanced Park Assist  This is rare for this vehicle.  It is for parallel parking.  You pull up next to a parking space, and the vehicle backs into the space by itself!  You never have to touch the steering wheel, just give it a little gas.  You'll never have trouble parking again!  ($600)

Upgraded Metallic Paint ($475)

In addition to the original factory options, it also has the following added or installed:

Premium Shield (clear bra) installed by the dealer on the day I took delivery.  This has a lifetime warranty and is transferrable to the new owner.  ($695)

Enviro Guard NG Protection for interior and exterior for 7 years.  This covers paint, fabric, and leather & vinyl.  I had it added by the dealer.  It is transferrable to the new owner for $90 (free if you're active military).  See pictures for the items it covers (too much to list).

Genuine Land Rover Mud Flaps installed front and rear. ($191.08 in parts plus 2 hours labor to install)

Aftermarket "Evoque" plaques for the rear door sills (see pictures).  Hey, I thought someone was going to ride back there.  Eventually.  Nope.  ($50)

This vehicle needs to go to a good new home.  Check my feedback and bid with confidence.  You will NOT be disappointed!  Why spend $5000 to $8000 more at a dealership?

This vehicle is also available for sale locally through other channels so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells elsewhere.

Jaguar Land Rover reportedly developing Road Rover car

Tue, Sep 26 2017

Reports are circulating in the automotive media that Jaguar Land Rover is developing a vehicle that's not an SUV. Called the Road Rover, it would be an all-electric luxury car with "some" all-terrain capability, hinting at all wheel drive. Initially, the EV would launch in late 2019, then spawn more models to complete the lineup. There is also talk about JLR's interest in an outright purchase of an existing luxury car brand to join its portfolio, and that parent company Tata has already given this strategic move the green light. Tata has also reportedly made moves to protect its JLR ownership via acquiring more of its own stock. All this excitement brings to mind the fact that there once existed an actual Road Rover — the Rover brand. Having evolved into MG Rover before going into administration in 2005 and subsequently reborn in China under SAIC Motor ownership, Rover was a moderately posh British carmaker just beneath the level of prestige that Jaguar offered. For some years, both were part of the same corporation. The last Rover saloons were designed and built with BMW input, and at that point Land Rover had already become part of Ford, almost a decade after Jaguar did. Ford's tenure with Land Rover lasted from 2000 to 2008, when Tata bought the British brand — along with the Rover name. Would it just make sense to badge the road car Rover, with no Road or Land affixed to it? Rover's slovenly demise is more than a decade old now, but there's plenty of valuable history still embedded in the long-shelved Viking ship logo. Cast aside memories of Sterling-badged Honda Legend platform siblings and unattractively Federalized SD1 series cars, and take whatever good the 1999-2005 Rover 75 brought to the table — maybe it's time for Rover to be reborn in the current Jaguar Land Rover family. According to Autocar, the first Road Rover would be developed in tandem with the next-generation Jaguar XJ, so they would share an aluminum architecture suitable for both internal combustion engines and battery electric technology, depending of the model. If anything, there is delicious irony to this: The 1980s XJ generation that Jaguar spent decades developing was claimed to be engineered in such a way that the occasional stablemate Rover's Buick-derived 3,5-liter V8 wouldn't have fit in its engine bay — to preserve the Jaguar bloodline. To have the new XJ and a Rover cross paths again would only be fitting. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.

It's all V8s all the time this week, starting with the Land Rover Defender V8 unveiling, Lexus IS 500 F Sport Performance debut and pricing announcement on the Jeep Wrangler 392. Next, they move on to what they've been driving. Spoiler alert: That means more V8 talk. Zac has been driving the Cadillac Escalade with the 6.2-liter V8 and BMW M550i with its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. Greg and Zac take a pause from the V8 theme by discussing their shared time in our long-term Acura TLX. From this, they segue into a "Spend My Money" feature about garage lifts to finish the show.
