Well my friends it's been a long time coming and now here it is...my 100% finished 2003 Disco II with 300tdi diesel conversion and R380 5 speed manual. I imported this motor and trans directly from the UK. The truck runs and drives like it was factory built and gets over 25mpg! Driving this bad boy is the most fun you can have behind the wheel. Here is a short breakdown of mods:

-2003 Discovery II SE7, 7 passenger!
-converted to 300 tdi turbo diesel and R380 5 speed manual
-TJM snorkel
-Water cooled intercooler
-Complete engine monitoring system by Edge products; monitors oil psi, coolant temp, boost pressure, boost temp, EGT temperature, ambient air temp, and anything else you can imagine
-Tuned injection pump
-WORKING AIR CONDITIONING!
-Flowmaster exhaust
-Center diff lock
-5 inch lift with Toddco spacer and ARB springs
-285/65R18 Trail Grappler tires on 18" Disco wheels
-Adjustable panhard rod
-ProComp shocks
-Custom trimmed wheel wells so NO rubbing
-Custom built tube bumpers, rock sliders, and roof rack
-40" and 20" LED light bars light up like the cowboys stadium

The most amazing part about this vehicle is that everything works as it did when it was new! You get in and nothing has changed except for the shifter setup. Radio, heater, AC, power windows, locks, seats...they all work! The tachometer does not work but is very east to fit one, I just have no need for it because I shift by sound of the motor. NO DASH LIGHTS! Of course we had to pull the check engine light bulb but the instrument cluster isn't looking like a Christmas tree!

Took this down to Moab last week for Easter Jeep Safari and it climbed with the big boys and drove home perfectly! No overheating or breaking down! And again...25 MPG! The sound of the turbo whistling through the snorkel is one of the coolest sounds you'll ever hear!

This Rover currently needs nothing but a new owner. Runs and drives extremely well. Enthusiast owned and maintained. Will do 75 mph as comfortably as a car. It does have rebuilt title due to a small fender bender 2 years ago. I bought it damaged and had it professionally repaired. It was less than $750 to repair.

This Rover is in great condition but is not brand new, it has normal wear and tear but is currently in excellent mechanical condition and ready to drive away. We encourage buyers to view vehicle prior to purchase.

Jaguar-Land Rover builds millionth vehicle at Halewood

Jaguar-Land Rover is not what you'd call a volume automaker by any stretch of the imagination. But in the dozen years since it started manufacturing at its Halewood plant near Liverpool, England, the automaker has already built its millionth vehicle.
The landmark vehicle is a Range Rover Evoque, done up in white with red roof and mirrors, black wheels and a red and black interior. The crossover is set to be donated to Cancer Research UK, which will auction it off next year to help fund its projects in the north-west of the country.
Halewood started manufacturing the Jaguar X-Type in 2001, then went on to assemble the Land Rover LR2 / Freelander 2 before taking on production of the Evoque a year and a half ago. The facility reached the 300,000-unit milestone just last year as production moved to a 24-hour cycle for the first time in either marque's history.
