EAST COAST DEFENDER PRESENTS

STORM 90

VIN: SALLDVBC8AA238453

Storm 90. You really need to see this beauty to believe it. Absolutely stunning inside and out, one of the best driving Rovers we have come across. Only at East Coast Defender!

Superb styling and performance. Leather interiorKBX styling, carbon wrapped hood and arches, carbon effect graphics, limo tint privacy, raised hood detail and finished in stunning Java Black.

The 2.5 Diesel engine is superb, tough enough for any trail, yet perfectly adept to conquer the tarmac too.

You will not find a tougher truck. The engine has been fully serviced and reconditioned, the chassis is rust free as is the body. Storm 90 is here for a long time yet.

We test all of our trucks and push them to check they are as we would want them, prior to shipping after our team of mechanics have reconditioned and brought these super trucks to their glory, we complete a 500 miles of road tests. Once out in the USA we don't just leave our trucks in a showroom, we use them. We take them short trips, long trips to the beach, off roading through trails and over sand dunes, we put them through their paces so we know what we are selling to you is the best.

We have taken this truck off road and it is nothing short of exceptional, please watch our video below. Storm 90 is one of the best vehicles we have taken off road. Along with everything else we even pulled a Chevy Silverado out of the sand as it had become stuck, the driver and passenger were amazed when we got chatting afterwards and revealed that they had just been rescued by a nearly 30 year old beast!

As always with East Coast Defender, the trucks are inspected, tagged, titled and ready for you to drive away. Our trucks are quality and genuine, nobody else places such trucks on the road inside the USA, fact!

Storm 90 will captivate your friends, your family, everyone who comes into contact with it. Most importantly, it will leave you smiling every time you drive, whether it be on the road to work or the short-cut home through a forest and over a mountain!

Jaguar Land Rover building new Special Vehicle Operations facility

Sun, 17 Aug 2014

It's only been a couple of months since Jaguar Land Rover announced the formation of its new Special Operations division, and we've already seen a number of vehicles to come out of it. But now the British automaker has announced a new facility that will house its elite skunkworks department.
Set to be built at Prologis Park in Ryton, England, on the outskirts of Coventry, the new Special Vehicle Operations Technical Centre will encompass dedicated production lines, F1-style flexible workshops, a dedicated paint studio and VIP suite for commissioning bespoke projects. JLR will spend some $33 million on the facility that will be home to 150 specialists - 100 of them being new hires.
The first project which the Special Operations division is working on is the F-Type Project 7, but we've already seen more projects in the pipeline - including the upcoming Range Rover Sport SVR - and you can bet there'll be more. The revival of the Lightweight E-Type also falls under Special Operations, but is undertaken by the Jaguar Heritage department located nearby at Browns Lane.

Watch a Cayenne Turbo S, Range Rover SVR, and Cherokee SRT drag race

Thu, Mar 17 2016

We live in a weird world where high-performance SUVs could win a 60-mile-per-hour sprint against sports cars from just a few years ago. Here, Top Gear sets up a three-way drag race against the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, and the results show just how quickly these high-riding models can cross the quarter mile. The Cherokee SRT is the patriotic choice among the three, but it's down on power in this fight. Meanwhile, the Range Rover's menacing growl sounds the best, and the Cayenne Turbo S has the most horsepower. You'll have to watch the video to see which SUV will win this battle. Related Video:

Jaguar SUV mule doing Ring testing in Evoque clothes

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Until then, take a look up top for images of the Range Rover-bodied Jaguar as it tests at Germany's Nürburgring. You can also scroll down for our March images for the C-X17 mules testing on public roads.
