Lamborghini to price Urus similar to Huracan

If and when the Urus project is finally approved for production, it will take Lamborghini into not one but several new territories. For one, it will be the company's first SUV since the demise of the LM002 in 1993. It'll also be the company's first front-engined model since the demise of the Jalpa and Espada in the late '70s, and its first model to offer hybrid and turbocharged powertrains in, well... ever. Just don't expect it to be its cheapest model.
According to Motoring.com.au, in speaking with Lamborghini sales and marketing execs, the Urus "will be priced similarly to the Huracán," which is currently the Raging Bull marque's entry-level model. That doesn't mean, necessarily, that the Urus (pictured above in Beijing alongside the previous Gallardo) couldn't undercut the Huracán's price slightly - especially since it will likely offer more than one engine option - but don't expect it to come cheap.
The Huracán starts in the US for $237,250. If, as reported, the Urus commands a similar price, that would make it the most expensive SUV on the market. That is, at least, before other high-end rivals from the likes of Bentley and Maserati get into the game.

Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera sounds great around the Ring

One of the most exciting things about Lamborghini launching an all-new vehicle is that we have years of increasingly faster, more aggressive variants to look forward to. For the Huracan, that inevitably means the arrival of a Superleggera model. While we've published spy shots of the Huracan Superleggera in the past, this is the first time we've seen and heard the car in motion. The video opens with a pair of the lightweight monsters positively (and unsurprisingly) embarrassing a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and then carries on with plenty of V10 wailing around the famed track. Unlike our first shots of the Superleggera, which featured a mostly unchanged body, this video reveals far more significant exterior changes. Most noticeable is a hefty – and possibly fixed – rear wing. Lamborghini's designers also made significant changes to the front fascia, with a more prominent chin spoiler and additional vanes to manage air entering the lower intakes. In back, Lamborghini added a large rear diffuser and removed the box-like appendage on the back of the car with a more production-ready finish. That probably means we're seeing (and hearing) the Superleggera's new exhaust in a more finalized form. Jay Leno's Garage gets agrarian with Lamborghini tractor

Stepping away from the trendy and arcane, the next guest in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1968-69 Lamborghini R485 tractor. In case there's anyone who doesn't know, the same Ferruccio Lamborghini ultimately responsible for giving us the Aventador started off making tractors in his native Italy after World War II.
The specs are a long way from anything we'd expect from the company's road-going products. The vineyard and orchard tractor has a 5.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 85 horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque, a two-foot clutch and 12 forward gears that get it from 0.3 miles per hour to 14 mph. It's also got a starter motor from a Countach.
