Lamborghini Miura SV burns to the ground in London

If there's one thing Italian supercars seemingly love more than moving quickly, it's being on fire. That even applies to iconic machinery like the Lamborghini Miura SV, one of our personal favorite exotics of all time. One such Lamborghini owner just witness their machine go all flambé during a photo shoot in London. Details are scarce at the moment, but it looks as if something went awry in the engine bay.
You can watch the disaster in the video below, but just make sure your stomach is well prepared for the nauseating sight. Nothing's worse than watching $700,000-worth of gorgeous collector car go up in smoke.

Volkswagen Group previews its wares on eve of Geneva show

The Volkswagen Group is comprised of 11 brands producing 240 vehicles across 49 factories throughout the world. So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. Is it possible to cook a turkey with a Lamborghini Aventador? The answer is quite likely no, but it sure is fun to watch YouTube's supercar videographer extraordinaire Shmee150 give it a whirl. The supercar fanatic got a hold of an Aventador tuned by Oakley Design - and dressed up like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - to see if the car's two-foot exhaust flames could cook his Christmas turkey.
We'll let you be the judge of the effectiveness of this cooking style, but whether it does the job or not, as far as enthusiasts like us are concerned, it sure beats the oven or deep frier.
