1990 Lamborghini LM002 roars into Jay Leno's Garage

High-performance SUVs have become fairly common in recent years, with vehicles like the Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR, Mercedes-AMG G65, and plenty of others to fill the niche. However, the Lamborghini LM002 was arguably the segment's pioneer when it debuted decades ago. Jay Leno welcomes one of these Italian beasts into his garage in a new video, and this thing is fascinating to see on the road. The LM002 is a wonderfully incongruous vehicle. The exterior has a brutish collection of chiseled features, but there's a high-output 5.2-liter V12 from the Countach under the hood. Leno says that the "Rambo Lambo" sounds "like an Italian opera," and he lets the big engine sing several times during the clip. Leno praises the way the Lambo drives, but the LM002 ownership experience sounds difficult. According to guest Damiano Barbuscia, replacement tires are eye-wateringly expensive, and the V12 gulps down fuel. Mansory tunes Lamborghini Huracan to 838 hp

The Lamborghini Huracan is a pretty potent package right out of the box, but the tuners at Mansory are showing that it's always possible to squeeze just a little bit extra out of a performance car for the willing buyer. The company's more aggressive interpretation of the coupe makes its public debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The Lambo's revised styling might be too brash for some people, but Mansory at least backs the looks up with a significant boost in power. The company keeps the 5.2-liter V10 in place but bolts on a single turbo, new exhaust and retunes the engine and transmission software to push output up to 838 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to the boost, the sprint to 62 miles per hour now takes a claimed 2.9 seconds, and the top speed reportedly grows to 205 mph. The stock Huracan is almost curvaceous by Lamborghini standards with a set of tightly focused flowing arcs making up its shape, but Mansory completely ditches subtlety for its carbon-fiber body kit. Up front, the the new lip spoiler adds tiny flying buttresses to each corner, and the wider fenders at the rear cover up the 12.5-inch-wide, 21-inch-diameter forged wheels. There's also a behemoth of a diffuser and massive wing at the back to suck the turbocharged Lambo to the road. If buyers want it, the tuning company offers a bespoke leather interior, as well. Lamborghini begins Urus marketing push with terrain mode videos

The Lamborghini Urus SUV is coming. It's a done deal, so now the marketing push begins before its December 4th debut. Lamborghini is highlighting the Urus' off-road capabilities in the videos we're going to share with you, and that's not a bad way to start, since every other Lamborghini around has strada, sport, and corsa down pat. (That's street, sport, and track for those of you who don't speak Italian.) It's the sabbia, terra, and neve (sand, off-road, and snow) bona fides that need to be nailed down for the Urus to sell, so it's a smart play to highlight them right off the bat. Especially since its predecessor, the LM002, had fairly legendary capabilities – and prodigious fuel consumption. Expect that to be better in the Urus, whose twin-turbo V8 of about 650 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque should be civilized enough to guzzle fuel at a more measured pace.
