Lamborghini Aventador goes floral to match LeBron's new Nikes

If you're in Miami and want to rent some exotic wheels, the folks over at Lou La Vie can hook you up with a Ferrari, a Porsche or a Rolls-Royce, among the dozen exotics they have on offer. You might think that someone with as much cash and flash as LeBron James may not need their services - in fact he gave away the car he got when he was named MVP - but the Miami Heat power forward has turned to Lou La Vie for a special ride to match his shoes.
Crafted in partnership with Nike, Toys for Boys Miami and Rich B Caliente, this one-off Lamborghini Aventador Roadster is the recipient of a special floral print to match the pattern on the inside of the new LeBron 11 kicks. The car was unveiled last night at a private event in Miami (which you can see in the minute-long video below) where the shoes were launched for the first time. Lets just hope that, after lacing up his new kicks, LeBron doesn't try to jump this Lambo at speed like Kobe (sorta) did with that Aston Martin.

Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera sounds great around the Ring

One of the most exciting things about Lamborghini launching an all-new vehicle is that we have years of increasingly faster, more aggressive variants to look forward to. For the Huracan, that inevitably means the arrival of a Superleggera model. While we've published spy shots of the Huracan Superleggera in the past, this is the first time we've seen and heard the car in motion. The video opens with a pair of the lightweight monsters positively (and unsurprisingly) embarrassing a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and then carries on with plenty of V10 wailing around the famed track. Unlike our first shots of the Superleggera, which featured a mostly unchanged body, this video reveals far more significant exterior changes. Most noticeable is a hefty – and possibly fixed – rear wing. Lamborghini's designers also made significant changes to the front fascia, with a more prominent chin spoiler and additional vanes to manage air entering the lower intakes. In back, Lamborghini added a large rear diffuser and removed the box-like appendage on the back of the car with a more production-ready finish. That probably means we're seeing (and hearing) the Superleggera's new exhaust in a more finalized form. Lamborghini Huracan Spyder promises 201-mph top speed

After chopping the roof off the Aventador SuperVeloce in Monterey, Lamborghini has, unsurprisingly, decapitated its entry level Huracan and given birth to the successor to the Gallardo Spyder. The new Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder is set to debut this week at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, offering the same 5.2-liter, 610-hosrepower V10, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and all-wheel-drive system. The top speed is a hair-raising 201 miles per hour, down just a single digit from the hardtop model, while the 0-62-mph time has fallen from 3.2 to 3.4 seconds. Blame the increase in weight for the slight drop in performance – the Spyder model adds 264 pounds to the hardtop's 3,135-pound dry weight. Of course, unlimited headroom and looks that can kill more than make up for that. According to Lamborghini, the lightweight softtop can be dropped in just 17 seconds and at speeds of up to 31 miles per hour. Impressive though that may be, it's the improvements that Lambo has made over the old Gallardo Spyder that are really newsworthy. Torsional rigidity is up 40 percent over Sant'Agata's last entry level droptop, while downforce jumps by 50 percent with the Huracan Spyder. Prices for Lamborghini's newest convertible start at 186,450 Euros ($211,341 at today's rates), with deliveries slated to begin in the spring of 2016.
