Super-Bad!

Now if you're into bragging rights, it doesn't get much better than this! This competition killer is a 2008 Lamborghini Superleggera with just 11K miles. The car alone would get you a bunch of props, but the owner of this one is a firm believer in the "Stock Sucks" theory. He sent it to Dallas Performance where they spent a bunch of money making it one of the fastest street legal cars around. This thing is now putting out 1,100 wheel horse power! If you can't earn some state issued driving awards with that, your local highway patrol should lay off the donuts! If you think your ticker can handle this car, give me a shout and we'll get you strapped in!

Less than 2000 miles on the build. I've been building her up for the past year and I can tell you this is the perfect Twin Turbo opportunity for someone looking to get into 1000+whp cars.

This car is near perfect on the exterior. Only blemish of note is a small scratch out of sight under the car on the diffuser, well less than normal wear and tear as I had the dealer swap for the freshest one on the floor at the time of purchase.

Interior is equally near perfect with the only blemish being one small hairline scratch on the driver's side door panel, out of sight when the door is shut and near impossible to find in broad daylight unless you know exactly where to look.

Wheels have never been curbed and have received a gloss-black treatment to better compliment the yellow tri-coat. Tires have <2000 miles on them and are Toyo Proxes R888. They are literally like new.

This is model is equipped with regular brakes. NON-CCB    So that means they are quieter, work better for daily use, and won't kill your pocketbook when it is time for maintenance. Rotors and pads are fresh with >80% life remaining.

This beast runs 800whp and 1000whp on pump gas. She also has settings for 1000whp race gas and 1100whp race gas. She can be tuned for whichever race gas you prefer before delivery. A four setting switch cleanly mounted at the rear of the center console allows for on-the-fly power setting changes.

She might have 1100whp but she runs OEM stock when you are not "on it". City speeds she is smooth as silk. Easy cold starts every time. Smooth idle all day long. No odd mannerisms. No weird check engine lights. You disable traction control manually at startup to prevent interference when on-boost (a requirement of most tcs-equipped boost-enabled cars). And then you are ready to go. She gets 19-20mpg on the highway. And the attention this car generates is unreal.

And you simply won't believe the power. Even in the lowest setting it will knock the wind out of your lungs. The blink of an eye is all it takes to reach throw-me-under-the-jail speeds. And with the 220mph drop gears you can enjoy allowing the car to stretch it's legs at mile events if that is your thing.

Car has zero issues. Has received fresh fluids services in the past 500 miles. Needs nothing at all. PPI is welcome. This car truly is "like new" !! And she is mechanically overbuilt so she will last.

I am selling so I can move on to other projects. (we have a one-toy-at-a-time rule in my house it seems)

Includes both keys, transmitters (with new batteries in each fob), all manuals and tools. Nothing is missing!

Serious buyers only please private message with questions. More pics available on request. Thanks for viewing!

Audi considering turbo option for longer, wider Hurac?n-based R8

Mon, 10 Mar 2014

The debut of the Lamborghini Huracán was (and remains) big news in and of itself, but equally as exciting is the imminent arrival of the Audi R8, which the Huracán presages. While the two will share a common architecture, don't expect that new R8 will simply be a cheaper version of the Huracán (like the current one arguably is to the Gallardo).
For one, the next R8 will be larger than the Huracán. According to emerging intelligence, Audi will make its sports car both longer and wider than the Lamborghini version. It'll also share the new Lambo's innovative carbon-fiber structure that will replace both the firewall and central tunnel. But to power it all, Audi will get more creative.
The next R8 will, like the current model and like the Huracán, offer a V10 engine at the top of the range. It will also offer the same 4.2-liter V8 as the outgoing model. But that won't be the end of the matter. Word has it that Audi is also working on a smaller, turbocharged engine to offer in certain markets that mandate smaller-capacity engines.

First US customer gets the keys to $1.9 million Lamborghini Centenario

Fri, May 19 2017

Ferruccio Lamborghini's 100th birthday party has now reached the United States. The Lamborghini Centenario – the souped-up Aventador that celebrates Lamborghini's founder – was delivered to its first US customer in Newport Beach, CA, the company said Thursday. The $1.9 million supercar was unveiled in 2016 to mark the 100th birthday of the industry leader, and it's limited to a 40-car run that's split between coupes and convertibles. Naturally, Lambo says they're all sold out. The first US car is a black and blue hardtop. The company says this one was custom built with a glossy carbon-fiber exterior. Inside, is the same color scheme set to leather and Alcantara. Lambo says the rest of the Centenario's US customers will get their cars this year. In case you've forgotten, the supercar runs a naturally aspirated V12 with 759 horsepower capable of hitting 62 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds en route to a top clip of 217 mph. Lambo builds each one to the personal tastes of the customer through its Ad Personam program. "When Ferruccio Lamborghini began realizing his dream of creating the best supercars in the world, he wanted to reach a large audience through production, but he also wanted to keep the unique nature of limited-edition vehicles that clients are able to personalize to their own tastes and style," Automobili Lamborghini America COO Alessandro Farmeschi said in a statement. Lamborghini Huracan SV spied looking aggressive

Wed, May 6 2015

Despite the production fate of the Lamborghini Urus seemingly in limbo, Lamborghini isn't waiting around for another project to work on. The Aventador SV Roadster has already been spotted in the arctic, and our spies just snapped this hotter Huracan in testing, as well. Except for the stickers on the body and larger front brake calipers, this Huracan looks mostly stock... at first glance. However, once your eyes move to the rear end, there's something very peculiar. You can see a camouflaged area at the back with mesh covering it that's above the standard diffuser. Behind that, spotting the two exhaust tips is quite easy. This look shares a strong resemblance with the Huracan GT3 racecar and suggests the lower pipes on this mule might just be for show. The exact name for this special Huracan is a mystery for the moment. Lamborghini tends to reserve the SV name for its V12 models, while the V10s get the Superleggera moniker. However, the Blancpain decal on the door could suggest a relationship with either the GT3 or possibly the Super Trofeo racers. Since both of them are rear-wheel drive, this could be some confirmation for that rumored version of the road car.
