Blue Lamborghini Aventador flamb'ees eyeballs on New York City school run

Regardless of how unsure we are of the back story in this video, we don't doubt how cool it would be to get picked up from [insert place here] in a Lamborghini Aventador. In this case, the driver says he picks up his former neighbor's daughter from New York-area high school in an Aventador, and with most of us heading to the Big Apple tomorrow for the New York Auto Show, we're wondering if this guy might be available to shuttle us from the airport to the hotel. It never hurts to ask.
After picking her up, they then head for a quick tour of Times Square with a trio of GoPro cameras recording the whole thing... missing out on a great opportunity to catch about five minutes of Aventador exhaust note, the video, for some reason, pipes in some awful background music. What is entertaining are the reactions that people have to seeing the car - whether from kids or adults - as the car has a magnificently beautiful Azure Blue paint job.

$100,000 reward offered to help recover stolen Lamborghini

Have you seen this Lamborghini? If so, Pinkerton wants to hear from you. And if your information leads to the recovery of the vehicle in question, the private detective agency could give you a reward of $100,000. According to Pinkerton, the white 2015 Lamborghini Aventador roadster was stolen in New York on October 28. It was last seen at the corner of Fowler Road and College Point Boulevard in the Flushing neighborhood of Queens, but the agency says it could have been spirited away to Atlanta – or even sent overseas. Pinkerton is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle to call 1-800-478-3403. The $100,000 reward being offered in exchange amounts to less than a quarter of the vehicle's $440k purchase price – which is what the insurance agency would surely have to pay out if the vehicle is not recovered. Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition leaked

As part of the celebration of its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini has created a new version of its Aventador called the LP720-4 50 Anniversario Edition, and images of the black and yellow machine have leaked out online ahead of its official unveiling at the Shanghai Motor Show.
Looking past the bumblebee-spec paint, this Lambo will boast 710 horsepower - or 720 metric horses, which explains its mouthful of a moniker - to go along with an estimated 0 to 62 time of just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 miles per hour. All that speed will be managed by a special carbon fiber aero kit that is reportedly 50 percent more efficient than before.
A report from Carscoops indicate that the Italian automaker will build 100 examples of this anniversary-edition Aventador, though how many of them will be painted in this arresting Giallo Maggio color we don't know.
