2005 Lamborghini Gallardo Base Coupe 2-door 5.0l on 2040-cars

Black Lamborghini Gallardo 6-speed manual trans with Carmel Leather Interior
(43,250 original miles) original MSRP was $193,000. My Gallardo is in excellent
condition and has all the documentation: service record, owner's manuals, both
sets of keys even the salesmen's business card who sold the car. This car has
spent its entire life in Florida up in till 2012 when it was moved to
Charleston SC it was mostly driving on the weekend (sunny days only). She has a
few upgrades worth noting: 2006 Lamborghini Navigation system, front lift
assist, 6-Disk CD Changer, 3M clear paint protestant (hood, fenders, rear
bumper), Lamborghini carcover, Fabspeed Exhaust, BMC Air filters and EMC custom
tuned by Velos Designwerks (490 crank hp). I have all the original parts (nuts
bolts everything) they all come with the car. The car is super clean inside and
out and is 100% mechanically sound (recently had $4,000 service at an authorized
Lamborghini service center). She has always been serviced at an authorized
Lamborghini service center and only has 150 miles since the last service. Like
I said she runs perfect and has no issues, needs nothing and is ready for a new
home. Below you can see pictures that I took on 2/1/2014 as well as a video, I
also added a video that Velos Designwerks (the tuner) did on the car. The buy
it now price is the best price I have seen on ebay and AutoTrader for a car
like mine (options, condition, color, miles). If you are looking for a 2005
Lamborghini Gallardo 6-Speed in outstanding condition with less than 45,000
miles you will not find a nicer one anywhere. Cover is included and if you
would like to ship the car my friend owns a collector car transportation
business (so I can get a very good rate if needed). Link

*Note: I have received
a lot of questions about the clutch so I wanted to answer them publicly. I had the clutch plate wear checked today,
the caliber gage read 5.3mm (that is 75% life left) – stock is 7.0mm and most
are changed at 1.0mm to .7mm. I have
attached a picture of the clutch plate see link: http://i763.photobucket.com/albums/xx275/cmcintyre1/2005%20Lamborghini%20Gallardo/IMG-20140208-00130_zps15b7444d.jpg |

Watch this Lamborghini Aventador shoot flames and light itself on fire
Mon, 03 Nov 2014The stationary revving of high-horsepower, high-cylinder-count Italian engines may be an adolescent pleasure among the world's wealthy, but it's a mechanical display of machismo we're usually prepared to indulge simply because it sounds so great. And it's a spectacle made all the better when one's exhaust spits flames, right? Well, most of the time. Check out this Lamborghini driver, who gets a bit exuberant with his right foot only to have disaster strike.
The driver's Aventador has no problem shooting long flames, and apparently they're hot enough to catch portions of the supercar's body alight. However, the driver's reaction might be even more unbelievable. Watch the video to see what happens - his response certainly isn't how many people would react to their supercar being on fire, perhaps because he isn't completely comprehending what's going on.
One final note; while the video's title claims that the fire is the result of a design flaw, there's not really enough information here to know if that's actually the case. The Lambo could be running an unsuitably modified exhaust or ECU to help it shoot big flames, or the issue could be as simple as debris caught in the rear vents lighting up.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse isn't mellow, comes in yellow
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Normally, this is the part where we remind you that the Lamborghini Gallardo is about to be replaced, and that this LP570-4 Squadra Corse is the swan song for the model range. That first part may be true, but at this point, we'd be shocked if yet another special edition Gallardo didn't debut before the car's successor is unveiled. Gotta make that money, honey.
But back to the Squadra Corse. This latest Lambo shares the majority of its components with the Gallardo Super Trofeo, which itself is based on the Superleggera, meaning that car's 570-horsepower V10 carries over, as does the carbon fiber rear wing and removable engine hood. Massive weight-saving methods have been employed here with the Squadra Corse, and thus, the big coupe tips the scales at just 2,954 pounds - that's less than a Volkswagen Golf.
Of course, with that little weight and that much power, performance is pretty staggering. Hitting 60 miles per hour takes 3.4 seconds and the car will rocket to 124 mph in 10.4 clicks. Top speed: 199 mph. Just couldn't muster up that additional mph, we guess.
Jay Leno holds Lamborghini showdown, compares Gallardo LP570-4 and LP550-2
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Jay Leno's Garage welcomes two of our favorite Lamborghini models over for compare-and-contrast session, the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera and Gallardo LP550-2. Note, however, that these are the 2012 coupes, not the 2013 models with their revised front and rear fascias.
Leno likes the size of the Gallardo over the Aventador, and between the two siblings, his philosophy leans heavily toward the rear-wheel drive and superior comfort of the LP550-2. With the help of Andrew Romanowski of the Lamborghini Club of America, Leno goes through little-known details like the LEDs in the engine bay and the particulars that distinguish the two vehicles like the Alcantara, polycarbonate windows and lighter tires on the Superleggera.
Then, doing something that he would never do with human guests on his television show, he takes his favorite out for the driving segment and leaves the all-wheel-drive coupe at the garage to pout. You can learn a few things yourself and listen to Jay sing hosannas about the overall build quality and rear-focused power of the LP550-2 in the entertaining video below.
