2004 Lamborghini Gallardo Silver/black | 6-spd | Clear Bonnet | Yellow Calipers on 2040-cars
Pearl City, Hawaii, United States
This 3-Time Best In Class, car show winning 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo is an extremely rare 6-spd (only about 10% of the Gallardo's out there are 6-Spd) with the all important Clear Engine Bonnet (very rare on 2004 model year Gallardo's) and visually stunning OEM Yellow Lamborghini Brake Calipers.
Professionally Modified by Auto Talent in Los Angeles, CA & Auto Customs in Honolulu, HI. Winner of "Best Euro" Award at Spocom Hawaii Car Show on July 7th 2012. Winner of "Best Euro" Award at Hot Import Nights Hawaii Car Show on December 9th 2012. Winner of "Best Euro" Award at Wekfest Hawaii Car Show on February 17th 2013. Needless to say this car is a rolling oxymoron, built to speak loudly while being tasteful & understated, turning heads everywhere it goes. I have ALL the receipts & service records for this car since I purchased it in 2009, as well as most of the receipts & service records from the previous owner. I have owned this vehicle for 4 years, and it is being sold so I can move on to the next exotic car project. I spared no expense in building, maintaining, updating & upgrading this visually stunning Gallardo. All the aftermarket modifications are what I felt to be the best parts available for that particular application and installed by professionals. This garage-kept vehicle has NEVER been driven on wet roads since I purchased it in 2009; this car was only driven on dry roads here on Oahu! *Professionally Detailed Bi-Weekly* -6-Spd Manual Transmission (New Updated Clutch Installed around 11k miles) -Black Leather Interior w/ Silver Piping & Stitching by 714 Motoring -OEM Lamborghini Clear Engine Bonnet -RSC Tuning LP-560 Front Bumper w/ OEM Lamborghini LP-560 Grills,Carbon Fiber Splitter & RSC Tuning Smoked Front Bumper Lights -Custom 20-Inch Matte Black Volk Racing G2 Performance Wheels w/ Continental SportContact3 Tires (80% Tread Remaining) -Jet Hot Coated OEM Exhaust Tips (Matte Black) -Custom Sound System by 714 Motoring featuring: * Kenwood Excelon Double-DIN Touch Screen DVD Head Unit w/ iPod Compatibility * Focal 5-1/4 Speaker Separates * Audison 3-Channel Amplifier * (1) 8-Inch JL Audio Subwoofer * Reverse Camera Linked To Kenwood Double-DIN Head Unit Screen -Fabspeed Carbon Fiber Airboxes w/ BMC Air Filters (Installed at 14k miles) -Fabspeed Secondary Valve Bypass Pipes (Installed at 18k miles) -Quiksilver Muffler Bypass Pipes (Installed at 11k miles) -Custom 3M Clear Bra by T&T Tinting (Front Bumper, Hood, Fenders & Rear Bumper Sides Installed at 19k miles) -6000k HID Headlight Bulbs -Brand New Optima Red Top Battery w/ Brand New Installed Battery Tender 35% Solar Gard Premium Tint Film w/ Lifetime Film Warranty (2) Original Keys w/ Factory Manual MANY New OEM Parts, including a completely new OEM Brake System (Lamborghini Factory Recall work done by the local Lamborghini Dealer here on Oahu), OEM Steering Rack, OEM Axle CV Boots, OEM Front Sway Bar Bushings, OEM Rear Spoiler Motor, OEM Front Emblem, OEM Inner & Outer Complete Door Handle Assemblies, OEM Windshield Wipers, and OEM Center Console Shifter Panel. I also replaced this car's original 2004 OEM Lamborghini Starter with a low mileage OEM Lamborghini Starter out of a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo. There are probably other parts & service that I've done to the car that I'm forgetting as well, but you get the point. This is probably one of the most meticulously cared for 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo's in the United States of America... ALL the OEM parts that were taken off this vehicle in lieu of aftermarket parts are in my possession EXCEPT for the OEM exhaust mufflers. These parts are included with the sale of the car and will be shipped to the purchaser of this vehicle at the purchaser's expense via their preferred shipment method. This car is in OUTSTANDING shape, which is affirmed by it's winning (3) "Best Euro" car show awards in the past year. No expense was spared in building & maintaining this stunning vehicle. The mileage on this car will go up slightly every week, as I drive this car once a week to keep it in good working order. Shipment of this car to either San Diego, CA or Los Angeles, CA will be included in the purchase price of this vehicle! Buyer is responsible for transportation of this vehicle from California to it's final destination (enclosed vehicle transport is highly recommended) This vehicle is being sold with no warranty expressed, written or implied. A Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) of this vehicle can be provided at the request & expense of interested parties via the local Hawaii Lamborghini Dealer. Any interested parties may call the Lamborghini Dealership here on Oahu directly as well and ask to speak to one and/or both of their Lamborghini & Ferrari Technicians (they have 2 techs who work on all the Lamborghini's & Ferrari's that come into the dealership) who have worked on this car many times and know it inside & out. A $500.00 deposit via PayPal is due within 72 hours of the purchase of this vehicle, with an additional $1,500.00 non-refundable security deposit due within 72 hours of the purchase of this vehicle as well. Jay Leno's Garage gets agrarian with Lamborghini tractor
Mon, 24 Dec 2012Stepping away from the trendy and arcane, the next guest in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1968-69 Lamborghini R485 tractor. In case there's anyone who doesn't know, the same Ferruccio Lamborghini ultimately responsible for giving us the Aventador started off making tractors in his native Italy after World War II.
The specs are a long way from anything we'd expect from the company's road-going products. The vineyard and orchard tractor has a 5.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces 85 horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque, a two-foot clutch and 12 forward gears that get it from 0.3 miles per hour to 14 mph. It's also got a starter motor from a Countach.
There's a whole lot more interesting info on the farm implement, the man who built it and the man who currently owns it in the episode below.
Lamborghini Miura SV burns to the ground in London
Mon, 08 Apr 2013If there's one thing Italian supercars seemingly love more than moving quickly, it's being on fire. That even applies to iconic machinery like the Lamborghini Miura SV, one of our personal favorite exotics of all time. One such Lamborghini owner just witness their machine go all flambé during a photo shoot in London. Details are scarce at the moment, but it looks as if something went awry in the engine bay.
You can watch the disaster in the video below, but just make sure your stomach is well prepared for the nauseating sight. Nothing's worse than watching $700,000-worth of gorgeous collector car go up in smoke.
Volkswagen Group previews its wares on eve of Geneva show
Mon, 05 Mar 2012The Volkswagen Group is comprised of 11 brands producing 240 vehicles across 49 factories throughout the world. So the best way to show off the range of the VW family is to cram a few thousand journalists and VIPs into a massive makeshift stand to outline the Group's goals, what's in the pipeline and what you'll be able to buy later this year.
To that end, VW pulled out all the stops on the eve of the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, bringing along 10 vehicles from across the range. We'll be delving into the details of each over the next two days of show coverage, but before that happens, you can read all about what we saw tonight from the cheap seats after the break.
