RARE 1997 1/2 LAMBORGHINI DIABLO ROADSTER

I AM SELLING MY GORGEOUS LOW MILEAGE DIABLO ROADSTER AS I HAVE ALREADY REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER TOY. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ODOMETER FOR ALL DIABLO 'S ROADSTERS PRIOR TO 1999 READ IN KILOMETERS.

THE DIABLO ROADSTER MARKET IS GETTING READY TO TAKE OFF. PRICES HAVE RECENTLY BEEN ON THE RISE BASED ON RECENT MAJOR AUCTION RESULTS. THE DIABLO ROADSTER IS ONE OF THE MOST RARE SUPER CARS IN EXISTENCE AS THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY  450 DIABLO ROADSTERS EVER PRODUCED IN THE WORLD. OUT OF THOSE PRODUCED A VERY LIMITED NUMBER WERE SHIPPED TO THE STATES. THEY WERE PRODUCED IN 1997, 1997/1/2, 1998 AND 1999. THE 1997 1/2 WAS UPGRADED TO INCLUDE A PASSENGER AIR BAG. IT IS ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC ROADSTERS EVER BUILT WITH THE LEGENDARY POP UP HEADLIGHTS. THIS IS A VERY DESIRABLE FEATURE GIVING THE CAR A CLASSIC LOOK.

THIS CAR DOES NOT GO UNNOTICED IN "FLY YELLOW". I AM VERY FASTIDIOUS SO I HAD SOME TOUCH UP RESTORATION DONE TO REPAIR COMMON PAINT CHIPS FROM NORMAL DRIVING AS IS PREVALENT WITH MOST OF THESE GROUND HUGGING HIGH END EXOTICS. THE CAR LOOKS FABULOUS!!. THERE IS ALSO A CLEAR BRA ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND SIDE MIRRORS.

THE PREVIOUS OWNER ADDED SEVERAL UPGRADES TO THIS BULL INCLUDING UPGRADED HEADERS AND EXHAUST. THE DIABLO EXHAUST TONE IS ONE OF THE MOST DISTINCT  AND VISCERAL SOUNDS OF ANY ITALIAN SPORTS CAR. THE UPGRADED EXHAUST ON THIS CAR EMPHASIZES IT EVEN THAT MUCH MORE.

MY CAR HAS A CLEAN CAR FAX AND RUNS AND DRIVES AS IT SHOULD. IT HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED AND CURRENTLY HAS A SMALL POWER STEERING LEAK THAT WILL BE CORRECTED BY AUTO CENTO IN ROCKVILLE MD BEFORE CAR IS PICKED UP.  I DRIVE IT TO CARS AND COFFEE ON A WEEKLY BASIS AND IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. BID WITH CONFIDENCE AS YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Lamborghini Veneno makes North American debut

Sat, 17 Aug 2013

Love it or hate it, the Lamborghini Veneno is an incredible - and incredibly rare - car. With Lamborghini committed to building just three examples of the Veneno, it's very likely that we'll only ever see this pre-production show car in our lifetime.
That doesn't mean we'll be any less excited about laying our eyes on this fine example of the world's most-expensive production car, which we recently did as the Veneno made its US debut at the Quail Motorsports Gathering. Now that we see it again, it might look even better under the California sun than it did the last time we saw it under the bright lights of the Geneva Motor Show. Now, if we could just find the keys...

Lamborghini Asterion leaked in print ahead of Paris debut

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

The first purportedly leaked images from an Italian magazine of Lamborghini's new vehicle for the Paris Motor Show are on the web, and they closely echo the model's silhouette from the teaser. However, there's no official mention of a name to confirm that this is being called the Asterion, as rumored.
The profile image (right) definitely suggests this is the same model that Lamborghini is previewing for Paris. It features the same slightly arcing hood and roof, and it has a rear air intake behind the door. The shape also seems to support the belief that this concept has a 2+2 seating arrangement to echo earlier Lambo models like Espada.
According to Autoblog.nl, which has posted the images, the vehicle may use a hybrid V10 with three electric motors to produce in the neighborhood of 900 horsepower. Furthermore, it claims that this might be just one of two concepts that Lamborghini is bringing to the Paris show. For now it's still a mystery, but all should be revealed on October 2 for the vehicle's unveiling.

Dad Invites Lamborghini Owners To Son's Birthday Party

Wed, Apr 30 2014

The resulting unalloyed joy, as you'll see in the footage below, is priceless. One of my defining moments as a budding car enthusiast came the first time I got to see a Lamborghini up close. I was out in Los Angeles visiting a relative with my mother and sister, and I took the change of scenery as an opportunity to look for more exotic cars than my middle-class Midwestern upbringing would usually encounter. We were on a walk, when off in the distance I saw – and heard – something extraordinary: An early '80s Lamborghini Countach, black with those bronze five-hole wheels, pulling into a parking spot. My mom still takes great joy in periodically retelling the events of that day, and as the story goes, I joyfully took off without warning, chasing the car down the street shouting "Lamborghini!" "Lamborghini!!" in my best eight-year-old Italian accent. I must've still been adorable, because the owner not only let me sit in his car, scissor door open and ridiculous grin on my face, he left me playing around in its interior, nonchalantly telling me to shut the door when I was done. Just like that, he left, disappearing into a shop across the street. I can't tell you how long I sat in the car, or how many photos I demanded my mother take of me with my borrowed Bell and Howell, but I can remember being astounded at how low it was – I could crouch as if sitting on the bumper and still see over it! That was around 30 years ago, and I still have a couple of those dog-eared pictures. Funnily enough, my memorable Lamborghini encounter is pretty similar to that of the young boy featured in this video. At age seven, however, Jacob is clearly ahead of the curve. As the story goes, his father left a message on Lamborghini Los Angeles North's Facebook page, asking if someone with "a kind heart" would help him help make his Lamborghini-fanatic child's birthday wish come true. And "come true" it did, with the dealership helping organize not just a ride-along in an Aventador, but also a small cavalcade of other Lambos, all of which all showed up unannounced at his house on Jacob's birthday. The resulting unalloyed joy, as you'll see in the footage below, is priceless. As car enthusiasts, most of us have been lucky enough to have memorable defining car experiences, those fleeting moments in our personal back catalogs that have come to mean so much more than they first appeared to be.
