Rare Lamborghini Diablo Sv Triple Black Edition For Sale. on 2040-cars
Yakima, Washington, United States
This is a true SV Iconic exotic car. It runs excellent and I drive it often. Although it is an extremely sexy car and looks just as cool in my garage as it does on the street, I prefer to drive it as often as possible. For some this will be a deterrent to buying my car, because you are looking for a museum piece. My Lamborghini Tech told me, when I bought the car, that the more I drive it the less likely things will go wrong with it. Still needs to be routinely maintained, but the car drives incredible. I live in a smaller town and this car gets recognized and everyone loves that I drive it often instead of hiding it away. Title is clean and no accidents. The Auto Check on this car is slightly funky though. If you are not aware older model Diablo odometers are in Kilometers not Miles. When the car was registered in NJ the Department of Licensing converted the odometer reading from Kilometers to Miles which caused a discrepancy in the odometer section of auto check. Washington State did the same thing. So prior to the sale in NJ other licensing branches read odometer as Kilometers and now it is read as Miles. I have tried to fix this problem, but there is no way to go back and have it corrected. If you know Lamborghini you know that this is not a totally uncommon problem. |

Driving instructor killed in Lamborghini crash at Disney racetrack [w/video]
Mon, Apr 13 2015We're saddened to report that a passenger was killed yesterday in a crash at Walt Disney World Speedway in Orlando, FL. The crash reportedly occurred at 3:30 PM on Sunday, when 24-year-old Tavon Watson of Kissimmee, FL, lost control of a Lamborghini he was piloting as part of the Exotic Driving Experience and struck a guardrail. Watson was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but the instructor riding shotgun – 36-year-old Gary Terry of Davenport, FL – was pronounced dead at the scene. The attraction is operated by Petty Holdings, which released a statement expressing its condolences for the incident: "On behalf of everyone in the organization, it is with a very heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to those involved in today's tragic accident in Orlando." The image above was shot by local news channel WFTV and appears to show a white Lamborghini Gallardo - one of the vehicles offered as part of the program alongside an Audi R8, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 and a pair of Ferraris. Though it took place on private property, the incident is reportedly under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Just a couple of months ago, we reported that Disney was planning to close the speedway in order to make "transportation improvements" for the adjacent theme park. Though we doubt the facility could be blamed for the crash, we wouldn't be surprised to see Disney accelerate plans for the track's closure in the wake of this most unfortunate incident.
A dealer made a 'Urus' out of an Audi Q7 to get people excited for Lambo's SUV
Fri, Dec 16 2016Fake news seems to be catching on. In an attempt to drum up some interest in the upcoming Lamborghini Urus (the Italian SUV that hasn't been unveiled yet) the Lamborghini dealer in Nurnberg, Germany, created a Lambo-badged promotional vehicle. It seems it has fooled at least a few folks, with several outlets reporting on it as if it's a Lamborghini prototype. Of course, it's not. What you're looking at is an Audi Q7 with a camouflage wrap that includes a Lamborghini-script logo across the back and a promotional message on the side, which reads: "Der Urus kommt / Lamborghini Nurnberg." Thanks to one semester of German, we can tell you that first part means "The Urus is coming." Note, that's "is coming," not "is here." There's also something that kind of resembles a scoop on the front fender. It's also fake. It's not uncommon for automakers to put a cryptic message on the side of a test car, often with swirly camo, but this takes the idea a step further since it's not the actual car underneath. That said, the production Urus, whenever it arrives, is expected to share the Audi Q7's MLB 2 platform. So it sort of works. Kind of. Novitec Torado takes a stab at improving the Lamborghini Aventador [w/video]
Sat, 06 Jul 2013Novitec has finished its tuning program for the Lamborghini Aventador, and it has called the mean-looking finished product, Torado. It looks like it wants to take the pedestrian sinisterness of the Aventador into an otherworldly rage, with carbon fiber vents, spoilers and protrusions lining the body from front to back.
Novitec says it's still good for daily use, even with four different stages of power tune and a fifth out-of-the-ballpark injection called "Bi-Kompressor." The power bumps start at 722 horsepower and 519 pound-feet and go up to 969 hp and 672 lb-ft with the bi-kompressor. The exhaust systems included in those packages are also good for shaving around 20 kilos from the car's weight.
There's a short press release below with more on Novitec's work, and a video of the Torado in the wind tunnel.
