Lamborghini Countach 5000 Replica, Ifg Body, 84 Feiro, Kit Car on 2040-cars
Braddyville, Iowa, United States
This is a Kit Car sold as is where is. Location is Braddyville Iowa. History: My Sister and I have inherited this Lamborghini Countach 5000 Replica Kit Car. The body is an Imaginary Fiber Glass (IFG) Lamborghini 5000 Replica. The Chassis is a 84 Pontiac Fiero. The engine is a 4.3L Chevrolet from a 1987 Astro Van. The car I do not believe the car has been started since it left San Diego in September of 1999. It has been stored in a garage in SouthWest Iowa. The documentation package is good condition and includes the Blue Print Plans, and the Instruction manual. The vehicle is currently titled in Iowa, and all documentation I have is included. The car and all the associated parts in the pictures is what is for sale. We reserve the right to end auction early if vehicle is sold through any other sales methods. Storage is available after purchase, we will need to discuss length of time. I could arrange a viewing for serious buyers. The reserve is set at $5,000. I included 2 additional photos. Both pictures/sheets are from the literature package from the original purchaser of the kit. Original owner purchased package 1 and package 2, and I do have that receipt. Interceptor 5000s is all the documentation states the car is. I do not know what year Countach that represents. Last winning bidder failed to pay, failed to respond to emails. I am now re-listing. |

Infiniti takes QX60 on vacation for National Lampoon-inspired ad
Wed, Jul 8 2015Infiniti is packing up its version of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster for a new ad inspired by the American comedy classic National Lampoon's Vacation. Well, actually the 30-second spot replaces the green station wagon with a QX60, but the commercial does a great job of evoking the movie in a short time. The release timing is clearly perfect too given the remake hitting theaters on July 29 with Ed Helms and Christina Applegate. Infiniti's ad replicates one of the film's memorable scenes, but it replaces Chevy Chase behind the wheel of the Family Truckster and Christie Brinkley in a Ferrari 308. Instead, we get Ethan Embry in a QX60 and a blonde in a Lamborghini Gallardo droptop. The slight twist at the end really makes the commercial work, though. The ad starts airing nationally on July 9, but you can watch it streaming above now. Beyond just the surface-level homage, Infiniti gives the spot a slightly deeper connection to the Vacation series. In 1997's Vegas Vacation, Embry played Rusty. INFINITI DEBUTS NEW QX60 "VACATION" AD CAMPAIGN Infiniti recreates famous scene from "National Lampoon's Vacation" in 30-second commercial with 2015 QX60 Luxury Crossover Commercial stars Christie Brinkley and Ethan Embry Campaign includes extensions in digital and social media NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Infiniti has released a new campaign for the 2015 QX60, inspired by the 1983 classic "National Lampoon's Vacation" which coincides with the July 29 release of Warner Bros. Studio's remake. The campaign begins with a TV commercial starring the original movie's car-loving blonde bombshell and supermodel, Christie Brinkley, and puts a spin on the famous movie scene as the modern day family heads to Walley World. In the national spot titled "Vacation," Ethan Embry (who notably starred as Rusty in "Vegas Vacation") loads his family in the roomy 3-row QX60 and hits the road for Walley World. While on the road trip, Ethan looks in his side view mirror and sees an attractive blonde in a sports car fast approaching. As Ethan and the blonde keep up with each other on the highway, Christie Brinkley is revealed as his wife who catches this action and ends the scene with an ironic response: "Honey, a blonde in a convertible? Seriously?" The popular Infiniti QX60 continues to stand out in the premium crossover segment, excelling in the areas that luxury crossover buyers desire most – interior versatility, roominess, available safety, and available advanced hospitality features.
Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial
Wed, 28 May 2014How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
Lamborghini Cabrera could look this good when it replaces Gallardo
Sun, 24 Nov 2013The Lamborghini Gallardo is a bit long in the tooth, so it's only natural that Lamborghini has its replacement in the works. Referred to as the Cabrera, the new model has been seen testing on the Nürburgring with fairly heavy camouflage, but it wasn't enough to stop automotive designer and Auto Week illustrator Marco van Overbeeke from rendering what he thinks it will look like when it's finished.
After comparing the illustrations and the photos of the Cabrera testing on the Nürburgring, it's not too far-fetched to say the next V10-powered, all-wheel-drive Lamborghini might look something like what van Overbeeke has envisioned. Feel free to check out the photo galleries below and compare the Nürburgring car with the illustrations. Then tell us what you think in Comments.
