2004 Lamborghini Gallardo E Gear 20k Miles Recently Serviced V 10 Custom Silver on 2040-cars
Edmond, Oklahoma, United States
I am selling herein my 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. I have owned this
car for coming on five years and knew its previous owner. I am not a
car dealer, just a collector/enthusiast. So if my description is
lacking something you wish to know please feel free to ask, also nor am I a professional photographer, if you would like any other photos please ask. As
I said its a 2004, Silver on solid black interior E-gear car with 20,466
miles. As far as its options, in 2004 there weren't many, I would refer to it when it left the factory as a base model. If you can't
tell something from any of the photo's please ask and I will check it out for
you. As for its additional equipment when I purchased the car
I had the seats removed and done entirely in black alcantara with an
offset silver double stitch, once you feel the grip of it you'll know why
so many use and love it. The car has a Larini exhaust that I will classify
as having a louder then most aftermarket systems decibel level wise and
being a deeper tone, more of a growl then whine lets put it. An LP570 nose was
added, many just paint and add these, this was not the case here for
paint blending of the silvers metallic for me had to be flawless. I also
painted the headlight washer flaps to match. I have the original front
end, wrapped in 3M clear, if the buyer pays the shipping I will send it
there way. The SL wing was painted a matte black to match the underside
of the LP570 nose. I didn't wire in the wings light as it has the roof third
brake light and personally I didn't want two of them. It does however
have a new OEM light in place, its simply wrapped in a matte black vinyl
should you want to install the harness and make it functional. Also if
you notice the car doesn't have the updated screen, I hadn't got around to
that yet, so the rear camera is not currently operational. However the
camera is already in the wing and is also an OEM Lamborghini part should
one want to continue the conversion. The stock wing is small enough it
will come in the passenger seat of the car when shipped and is in perfect condition. The stripes both black and trio-color
along the sides are vinyl. All of these exterior modifications
listed were done around 1k miles ago so if your worried the stripes
won't peel off I assure you they will, and I can remove them should the
buyer wish prior to taking delivery. The Callisto wheel's were also powder coated a matte, as I didn't prefer the shine of the gunmetal color
they were originally. As for its issue's there is a slice out of the lip of the tire and scuff into the lip of the
passenger's rear wheel, the wheel can easily be fixed, Oklahoma roads are bound to
reach up and bite you at some point. I had the wheel and tire checked
for integrity and alignment. See picture of it below for reference. Also
there is a dual scratch in the entry passenger black Gallardo
kick plate. The mirror roll button has its black rubbed from a portion of it. All these combined issues would likely cost one under 400 dollars to correct but I am meticulous
enough that if I were the buyer, I would certainly want to know about
these things. I also have attempted to get a shot under the nose to show
you it is too flawless, the LP570 nose allows several more inches on
approaches and frankly made it much more enjoyable to drive not worried about
any little driveway or speed bump. As for its
services it last saw Lamborghini of Dallas not but 250 or so miles ago, probably a few months back now.
It had everything done they recommended to update the car, also all
fluids were changed. I have a snap ring test print out for the e-gears
clutch, if you don't know they don't translate it to an understandable
number but my tech in service at Lamborghini Dallas equated the number's to a tad above 80%
clutch life remaining. I can email a pic should one request it. I let the car warm
up, and have always let up when I shifted the car, why make the clutch
work harder then it needs. I learned this from its previous owner and has served me well. Its never driven in auto mode and never
ever into launch. The car has had the recall addressed by
Lamborghini, steering pump issue, also yes the rear view mirror has been replaced prior to leaking. If you have never been around these cars that last one might sound a tad silly but some of you are checking off that dreaded list of does
it have, has it have, etc...etc... If one would like to suggest a shop within an
acceptable range they are more then welcome to pay for their own PPI to
be done on the car. I have the title in hand, no liens in place ready to sign
over to the lucky new owner. I set this car up with the intentions of never letting it out of
my collection, if it needs something currently beyond the issues I have pointed out then I am unaware. I will
gladly assist in the shipping of this car, I have used a few in this
area as it gets enclosed from OKC to Dallas and back for services. I have too many and am only adding more so unfortunately I have to decline all trades less a pre-1989 Countach. Then
lets talk how about how much I'll be owing you. I reserve the right to end this
auction early as I have local buyers interested and the miles may be a touch higher as spring is around the corner. Again, I am just an fanatical collector of all sorts of automobiles. I have loved and enjoyed this car more then any other in my motor pools existence. If you are well versed this ad should suffice but should it not, please do not hesitate to contact me as this is a great car to begin ones journey into the exotic car market. If you do not know something I will do my best to help find the answers. Compared to many its proven over a decade its a dead reliable model and from its conception a timeless design. I bought it at 16,498 miles so says my title and now only 20,466 miles. In my honest opinion someone just needs to drive it more. Thank you for your interest, good luck and God speed! |

Weekly Recap: Lamborghini to build SUV
Sat, May 30 2015Finally, Lamborghini will build a sport utility vehicle. The Italian supercar maker confirmed this week that it will launch a luxury SUV in 2018. It will be built at Lamborghini's soon-to-expand factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese in Italy, and will double the company's current sales volume. Lamborghini did not announce a name for the vehicle or other details, but noted a concept version, the Urus, was displayed at the Beijing motor show in 2012. It will be sold around the world, but it's expected to be a critical offering in the United States, China, and the Middle East. The automaker projects the SUV will sell about 3,000 units per year, and it will be the third product in Lamborghini's portfolio. It currently sells the Huracan and Aventador supercars. "The introduction of a third model line endorses the stable and sustainable growth of the company and signifies for us the beginning of a new era," Lamborghini chief executive Stephan Winkelmann said in a statement. The project is also a boon for Italy, which will get 500 new jobs in the Emilia Romagna region as Lamborghini's factory will nearly double in size. Ian Fletcher, principal analyst for IHS Automotive, said the SUV will position Lamborghini for future growth. "It could well also bring new customers to the brand [who] may find the dramatic styling of Lamborghini products appealing, but find its typical sports cars restrictive," he said. "If it is a success, the SUV could be a catalyst to Lamborghini broadening its portfolio further." OTHER NEWS & NOTES GM invests in Chevy Camaro factory General Motors is investing $175 million to upgrade its factory in Lansing, MI, to build the 2016 Chevy Camaro. The investment will pay for new tooling and equipment. The improvements include three new paint systems and two new robotic framers. GM will add a second shift at the factory to build the Camaro, resulting in 500 jobs. The automaker had dropped the plant to one shift last year amid slow sales for its products, the Cadillac ATS and CTS. GM is spending $5.4 billion over the next three years to upgrade its US facilities. Last week, GM announced plans to spend $439 million to build a new paint shop for the Chevy Corvette. While the Camaro and Corvette plant improvements are intriguing to enthusiasts, GM also confirmed this week that it is investing $1.2 billion in its Fort Wayne (IN) factory that builds trucks.
Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali talks doubling production and saving the V12
Fri, Aug 26 2016Stefano Domenicali took over the reins of Automobili Lamborghini from Stephan Winkelmann back in February. A few of the most important decisions in Lamborghini history were made shortly before Domenicali's tenure started, like the green-lighting of the Urus SUV, so we jumped at the chance to speak to him about the company's future at Pebble Beach this past weekend. If you don't know the name, a little background: Domenicali's previous job was running the Ferrari Formula 1 team. So not only has he switched from Ferrari to arch-rival Lamborghini, he moved from a racing program to a supercar company that has historically been much less involved in motorsport. That being said, Domenicali has indicated he will stay his predecessor's course. Our interview is below. Alex Kierstein: We're here at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. You were judging this morning – what were you judging? SD: I was an honorary judge of category on elegance, on open cars. I had six cars, actually, 1911 to 1930 supercars, I would say. It's my first time here in Pebble Beach. My previous business [as director of Ferrari's Formula 1 team] I was always busy in that moment of the year. I say that I was impressed by the quality, the presentation, and the level of cars – and the people that are here. AK: And it's a great way to involve the owners. SD: Yeah. It is really super. I have to say that on top of this, I go home with a very, very positive [feeling], and on the other side, a big responsibility. Really, the comments, the things that came out during this weekend are extraordinary. That means that we have taken the right path that's the future. Now is the time where we need to grow in the right dimension, with the right step, both from the technological point of view and the branding positioning point of view. Don't forget that in two years' time, when the new SUV will come, this will represent for us a new challenge ... Even if you can say that we had the LM002. We need to prepare ourselves, the network, the company, and this is what we are doing. For example, so far, in the Sant'Agata plant, we are building the premises for the new SUV. I can assure you that for sure on our side, the super sports car remains the key market. We will never take Lamborghini out of this segment. It's a niche of which we will never push on the volume approach more than the numbers [we expect to see at the end of the year]. It should be, touching wood, another record year.
Here are the cars Fast 8 characters will drive in Iceland
Tue, Jun 28 2016The eighth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise will feature some characteristic wheel-to-wheel adventuring, this time on Icelandic ice. As revealed by the F&F production team, here are some of the vehicles that will be seen in the film. What else could Dominic Toretto drive than a Dodge? The previous film showed a Charger fitted for off-road driving, and this time the classic shape has been formed into an ice racer. The muscle car is still recognizable, but the altered wheelbase and fender flares make this something quite different. And as the bullet holes testify, the matte black machine is definitely going to see some action. Letty drives a Local Motors Rally Fighter, which might be the best fit for the ice scenes. The off-road coupe has been modified with a brush bar and some serious roof-mounted lights. Roman will be seen behind the wheel of an orange Lamborghini Murcielago, easily standing out in the frozen wastes. To top it off, there are some tank-like machines: There's a tracked Ripsaw for Tej Parker and an "Ice Ram" for Hobbs, who is played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Both of these look like mean machines, and on the screen they'll probably prove to be the admission ticket's worth.
