Up for sale is my personal 2013 Lamborghini Aventador in Verde Ithaca over Black Leather interior. If you know anything about Lamborghini, you know that this the most sought after color combination and commands a hefty premium. Not only is the MSRP higher due to the multi-layer metallic pearlescent paint, the limited number produced (this is the only 2013 Aventador in this color currently for sale that I know of) often requires a market adjustment price greater than sticker. Sure, you can own a white or black Aventador for less, but speaking from personal experience NOTHING compares to the presence of this color.

This car is LOADED with over $40,000 worth of options!  It's in pristine condition with ZERO paint or body work, and has been meticulously maintained by a professional detailing shop.  There are no rock chips, scratches, or dings on the entire car. I had the entire exterior treated with C-Quartz ($1,500), which is 100x thicker and harder than wax and helps prevent scratches. The entire front end of the car also has a seamless clearbra ($3,000) installed. The seats show absolutely no wear, and the aluminum trim is free of any scratches. A Valentine One Radar system is hardwired into the car. Some of the options are:

  • Verde Ithaca Metallic Paint Special Color ($9,100)
  • Front 20" x 9"/Rear 21" x 13" FACTORY Dione Forged Alloy in Gloss Black with P255/20ZR20 Front & P335/25ZR21 Rear Pirelli P-Zero ($8,600)
  • Transparent Engine Bonnet ($7,550)
  • Lamborghini Sound/Navigation ($4,200)
  • Parking Sensors and Rearview Camera ($4,900)
  • Multifunction Steering Wheel ($1,540)
  • Branding Package ($840)
  • GGT ($3,700)

All four wheels are in immaculate condition, and have no curb rash or scratches.  It has 1,460 miles as it sits, and looks like it just came from the factory.  The car is up to date on all servicing at Lamborghini Atlanta, the records are readily available, and it remains under the full factory warranty until March of 2016. It has all sets of keys. This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION! If you need financing, I don't provide it but I have access to dealers who do.

We visit the Lamborghini Museum at company HQ in Sant'Agata

Fri, 07 Mar 2014

Last week, Lamborghini invited us to stop by its Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters to have a look around the factory and pick up a few technical tidbits about its new Huracán LP 610-4. It won't surprise you to learn this, but Lambo's foyer is pretty rad.
Rather than front its offices and factory with a gift shop and a reception desk, Lamborghini puts its amazing heritage on full display by offering up the corporate museum as a first impression to visitors. We had coffee in the morning and lunch after the press conference in this space, with stunning Italian concept cars and production models serving as an impressive backdrop to it all. Not wanting to miss the opportunity to share the Lamborghini collection with exotic-car crazed Autoblog readers (you know who you are), we did our best to capture everything we saw in the gallery here.
With some variation, the museum's two floors are separated by vintage: older models downstairs and newer up. When you walk through the front door, you're flanked by two of the coolest Lamborghinis in the marque's impressive history: a 350 GT to the left and a perfectly green Countach LP 400 on the right. Perhaps our favorite car in the whole joint, the Countach's Bertone body is still almost impossible to believe. Up close, we're reminded how design-driven this car is; the seats are so far inboard from the scissor doors that it's difficult to imagine that engineers ever agreed that the shape was a feasible one for production or actual driving.

Lamborghini: We did not cheat on Nurburgring record

Mon, Mar 20 2017

"Why would we [cheat]? We have all the data, all the GPS data. It's verified. It's already verified." – Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali Lamborghini is doubling-down on the legitimacy of the Huracan Performante's production-car record at the Nurburgring. The Italian supercar maker should have been on a high when it launched its Huracan Performante at the Geneva Motor Show, but it was instead forced to defend the 6:52.01 lap time on the Nurburgring's Nordschleife circuit in the wake of criticism. Skeptics suggested the footage had been sped up from a rate of 24 frames per second to 25, arguing the 'authentic' lap time would have been closer to 7:08. James Glickenhaus, the owner of ultra-low volume supercar maker Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, even called for the circuit to hold a special day to verify production car lap times. View 12 Photos "Why would we [cheat]?" Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali asked incredulously. "We have all the data, all the GPS data. It's verified. It's already verified. "The simulation we did before we did the lap was already better than the previous time [set by Porsche's hybrid supercar, the 918 Spyder]. "What we saw was the great potential of active aerodynamics. The Nurburgring is a lot of partial throttle and long corners. The SV [Aventador] was for sure faster on the straight, but the lap [by the Performante] was all recorded." A Lamborghini spokesman suggested the entire controversy was rooted in "one blogger's business model [of] paying for clicks." Audi Sport development head, Stephan Reil, also weighed in during last week's Audi RS3 launch, insisting Lamborghini would have had no reason to cheat at anything and that its active aerodynamics would have more than made up for any power shortfalls. Audi is a sister brand of Lamborghini under the ownership of Volkswagen Group. "We also know that architecture well [the Huracan shares its architecture with Reil's R8]. We know what it's capable of," Reil said. "The Performante 'Ring time is absolutely credible. Active aero makes a huge difference. "We did a TT production racer for the 'Ring with about 380 horsepower and gave it maximum wing. It was so slow down the straight that everybody passed it, but the overall lap time was very, very fast. Much faster than without the aero downforce.

Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera tests new wheels for a dash through the snow

Wed, Dec 7 2016

The top-end Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera was caught testing in the snow this week. While most of the car looks similar to the test vehicles seen at the Nurburgring, there are a few differences. Most notably with the wheels. This is the first time we've seen a Huracan with these spindly five-spoke wheels, which look sharp, and are probably lightweight. They also wear bright red center-locking wheel nuts. This is a distinct difference from earlier prototypes that wore conventional wheels with five lug nuts. As for the rest of the car, there isn't much new to report. The large front and rear vents and rear diffuser remain the same, as do the relocated exhaust and giant rear wing. What is a bit odd is that this winter tester appears to be missing the deep chin spoiler and side scoops of the Nurburgring cars. We assume these pieces were removed only on this test car, since even the standard Huracans feature the large side scoops. Lamborghini probably removed these bits of body work to avoid damaging them in deep snow. When the Superleggera is finally unveiled to the public, we expect it will likely have at least 611 horsepower, like that of the Super Trofeo race car. This would also make sense since the standard model already makes 602 horsepower, so an extra nine shouldn't be a stretch. The Superleggera will also bring the total model count for the Huracan to five, now that the company has revealed the rear-drive LP580-2 convertible. Considering the fact that the previous head of Lamborghini hinted there might be a total of five models, there probably won't be any other Huracan variants coming. Related Video:
