2004 Kia Rio NO RESERVE 4-Door Sedan
Additional Photos Vehicle Description This great running Rio was recently traded in at the Nissan dealer. The miles you see are the actual miles on this vehicle. I have a clean NC title for this vehicle. Autocheck shows that it is salvage/rebuilt. I will be selling it as a salvage/rebuilt vehicle. This Rio will be sold to the high bidder with NO RESERVE!!!!!!!! Although this vehicle has had previous owners, it is ready to be driven by YOU! This vehicle engine runs very, very smooth. The check engine light is on. It will not pass NC inspection with this light on. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission, and runs great. The a/c is good and cold. The overall condition of this vehicle's exterior is average and has some blemishes and defects. The paint has lost its luster. This vehicle's interior shows the average amount of wear and tear. Although these tires are used, there is still plenty of tread wear left. Do not miss this one. The HIGH BIDDER will drive this Rio home!!!!!!!! 2015 Kia Soul EV whirrs in to the Windy City
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Earlier this week, we got our first glimpse of the 2015 Kia Soul EV out on the road, completely uncovered. And even before then, executive editor Chris Paukert had the opportunity to drive a camouflaged electric Soul prototype on Kia's home turf in Korea. But now, finally, officially, the electron-happy Soul makes its debut at the Chicago Auto Show.
Powering the Soul EV is an 81-kilowatt electric motor that sends 109 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. That's not immensely powerful, with Kia quoting a 0-60 time of "fewer than 12 seconds," but we're big fans of the instant torque thrust that EVs like the Soul provide. Top speed is electronically limited to approximately 90 miles per hour.
Kia says the Soul EV is good for roughly 80 to 100 miles of driving range.
A closer look at the 2015 Kia Soul EV
Tue, Feb 18 2014Kia is set to join the fully electric vehicle space this year, with the fresh-faced 2015 Soul EV. The all-electric Soul made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this month, and Autoblog west coast editor Michael Harley had a chance to speak with Orth Hedrick, Kia's vice president of product planning, about the new electrified hatchback. In its standard form, the Kia Soul offers tons a wealth of functionality with its upright packaging, and with a new 81-kilowatt electric motor underhood, the electric vehicle should be good for between 80 and 100 miles of driving range. Charging times vary from as long as 24 to five hours, depending on your setup, and Kia is partnering with Bosch, Leviton and AeroVironment to provide different charging solutions, depending on a customer's specific needs. Take another, closer look at the 2015 Kia Soul EV in the video, below.
K900 probably won't be last time Kia goes alphanumeric
Thu, 23 Jan 2014
This is part of an effort to ensure that the vehicle brand itself registers with consumers more than the model name.
The new Kia K900 luxury sedan stands as a four-wheeled flag in the ground of the financially fertile turf of the world's premium automakers. It's a bold move for a Korean manufacturer that was best known for inexpensive MSRPs and easy credit only a few years ago. The company has made sure it has the requisite trappings of premium motoring: indulgent size, rear-wheel drive, a powerful V8 engine, real wood trim and rich leather seats. It has also ensured the model has another important earmark of luxury - an alphanumeric name. These days, everyone from Audi to BMW to Cadillac to Lexus to Volvo rely on a jumble of letters and numbers to make up their model names. We've been told this is all part of an effort to ensure that the vehicle brand itself registers with consumers more than the model name.
