2001 Kia Sportage Base Sport Utility 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Jersey City, New Jersey, United States
Winter is Coming! Purchased a year ago and well maintained, this 4WD Kia
Sportage is a reliable car to help you deal with a New York/New Jersey
Winter.
Being a 4WD it is big enough to deal with snowy roads but the Sportage is a compact 4WD so it's small enough for city and suburban driving without the feeling that you're in a tank and invading Kosovo. The car itself has only driven a little under 76,000 miles and has only had two driving owners (with a dealer in between). It is a reliable car that has been looked after and driven carefully for the year we've owned it. Also comes with a Steering Wheel lock and alarm system. The car has some minor scratches and dings on the body and wear and tear that you would expect for a car this age but has been a reliable car throughout. |

Kia Venga puts a fresh face on mini minivans
Fri, Oct 3 2014Minivans in America have grown to become anything but mini. That's not the case overseas, however, where Ford offers the B-Max, Citroen the C3 Picasso and Kia the Venga. On the European market now since 2009, the Venga shares its underpinnings with the Soul and with the Hyundai i20. The shape which Peter Schreyer sketched for it won a prestigious iF Design Award upon its debut, but five years later, it was time for a bit of a refresh. Debuting alongside the updated Rio at the Paris Motor Show, the new Venga has received some updated sheetmetal, an upgraded cabin and enhanced equipment – all the better for transporting a (small) family around some European metropolis, where the streets are narrow and the parking even tighter.
Kia teases Geneva concept, is a Nissan Juke rival in the cards?
Wed, 23 Jan 2013These four photos tell us most about the pomegranate-red concept Kia will be bringing to this year's 2013 Geneva Motor Show. An accompanying 66-word press release gives away nothing, so we're left to wonder if this is some kind of Nissan Juke rival that the South Korean company is toying with.
Even with the exaggerated dimensions of concept cars, this unnamed "urban concept car" looks somewhat larger than the average subcompact hatch, and there are some seriously Juke-ish lines around the rear three-quarter. This concept, however, appears to be a two-door model, unlike the Juke with its hidden rear handles, but that doesn't mean a production model couldn't add a couple of entry points.
We'll know for sure in March. You'll have to make the four high-res photos and those 66 words in the release below last until then.
Minivan market not what it used to be, but margins make up for it
Thu, 05 Jun 2014
Residual values for last year's minivans are higher than they were in 2000.
Much like the station wagon was the shuttle of Baby Boomer generation, the minivan has been the primary means of transport for Generations X and Y. Just as the boomers abandoned the Country Squire, though, those kids that were toted around in Grand Caravans and Windstars are adults, and they certainly don't want to be seen in the cars their parents drove.
