Their will be a small title transfer fee of 449 added to the purchase price. Will ship world wide and can deliver for free within a 200 mile radius of Fredericksburg Va home of the wilderness battle fields from the civil war. If you are paying by check it has to be wrote by a major fortune 500 bank, bank of America, wells fargo, suntrust, chase, capital one etc. Please don't show up with a check from the bank of Zimbabwe and expect to drive away (people have before). Other then that good luck and happy bidding. SPECIFICATIONS PRICE: $31,365 (includes $670 inland freight and handling charge) One thing you notice about the Kia Sedona minivan is that it is incredibly loaded with features - almost overloaded. With a sticker price of just over $31,000, the Sedona has tri-zone automatic climate control to keep passengers in all three rows as comfortable as possible. There's more, but you'll have to wait. With a 240 horsepower V6 engine under the hood, the Sedona isn't hurting for power. I remember my old full-size van that (I believe) wasn't that powerful yet was larger and heavier. The engine's power reached the front wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission with a column shifter. That's important, because a floor-mounted shifter, while "cooler" would clutter up the space between the front seats. As it is, that space is used up by a tray that's convenient for holding a pair of cupholders and assorted smaller objects like cell phones, MP3 players, etc. But, that tray folds out of the way into the side of the passenger seat if it's not needed and you would prefer a clear passageway to the rear seats to attend to misbehaving kids, for example. This is what impressed me about the Sedona; it's use of space. Go around to the back and lift the power tailgate and you'll see a deep well behind the third row seats. You can use this for cargo (we stacked four golf bags vertically, for example) or you can fold the third row seats into the well, leaving a flat floor. The second-row bucket seats don't disappear, but you can always take them out if you need the extra cargo space. Again, in my full-size van, the two benches were removable, but they weighed about 60 pounds apiece and were a chore to remove. Legroom in the second row is excellent. Third row legroom is very good, so you wouldn't be embarrassed to put your boss back there when everyone's headed out for lunch. Seating comfort in all three rows is excellent, with the front two rows offering the best, of course. Handling isn't great, because of the aspect ratio of the van. However, it isn't worse than any of the other minis we've tested recently. The instrument panel is clear and easy to rear. There's a huge speedometer, smaller tachometer, and smaller still water and fuel gauges. Even though the two smallest gauges are small, they're clear and get the information to you quickly. The Sedona had a multi-function steering wheel with audio controls. However, the "mute" button was sometimes too easy to hit and we frequently turned off the audio. An owner might learn how not to hit this switch, though. Audio and HVAC system worked well, with the units being similar, if not identical, to the Hyundai Azera. Both are built by Hyundai. Power junkies will appreciate the two power outlets up front (one is the lighter) and one in the rear cargo area. There are two cupholders in the center stack as well as one in each of the front doors. Storage cubbies include one at the bottom of the center stack, another just ahead of the shifter and two in the glove box. There's also a second "glove box" in front of the passenger that's occupied by all the literature. For safety, there are front airbags, side curtain airbags that cover all three rows, and front seat-mounted side airbags. Out tester came with a base price of $25,595. Added were a luxury package ($2,400) that included leather seat trim, heated front seats, seat and mirror memory, tri-zone climate control, sunroof, the backup warning system, and steering wheel audio controls. The premium entertainment package, that included a DVD player for the rear passengers added $1,700, while the power doors added another $1,000. Kia offers a 10-year, 100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty that has to be respected. There's also a 5-year, 60,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty and roadside assistance. These must be respected.

2017 Kia Cadenza has new styling, greater efficiency
Wed, Mar 23 2016The current Kia Cadenza went on sale in the US in April 2013, and three years later a new generation arrives at the 2016 New York Auto Show. This isn't just a mild refresh of the existing sedan, either. The latest Cadenza hits showrooms in late 2016 with improved styling, a stiffer platform, and a more efficient engine. Kia is holding back the 2017 Cadenza's exact powertrain specs until closer to launch. The new sedan still uses a 3.3-liter V6, which now has an estimated 290 horsepower, and the company plans to retune the powerplant for better fuel economy. The sedan also has an eight-speed automatic gearbox rather than the present six-speed. The current Cadenza makes 293 hp and has EPA estimates of 19 miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The model's lighter platform makes the most of the improved powertrain. The updated chassis now consists of over 50 percent Advanced High Strength Steel, which is twice as much as before. The 2017 model has the same length as its predecessor but a longer wheelbase that increases rear legroom by half an inch. Additional sound deadening and acoustic absorbing laminate for the windshield and front windows create a quieter interior, too. The 2017 Cadenza's styling is a more angular evolution of the current sedan's stodgy look, with sharper edges for Kia's tiger nose grille, which is now convex. The Cadenza's lower trim levels feature mesh in the center, but the more expensive versions have vertical fins (pictured above). The four-door also has Z-shaped signature lights in the headlights, and the same motif is on the taillights. The latest Cadenza's interior cossets occupants with more soft-touch materials and high-tech amenities. Customers can spec active safety systems like adaptive cruise control with stop and go, a forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning, and the Smart Blind Spot Detection System that can brake the wheels to keep from drifting toward an adjacent vehicle. The rapid replacement for the last Cadenza suggests Kia wants to stay relevant among large, front-wheel drive sedans, like the Nissan Maxima, Toyota Avalon, and Buick LaCrosse. The new styling at least makes the Kia look more interesting in the segment, and the updated powertrain makes sure the four-door keeps up in the class.

Hyundai plans to catch up with other automakers, offer EVs
Thu, Mar 30 2017YONGIN, South Korea (Reuters) - South Korea's Hyundai Motor Co is developing its first dedicated architecture for electric vehicles, seeking to catch up with the likes of Tesla in the growing segment with multiple, long-range models. While the platform will not be completed soon, Hyundai Motor and affiliate Kia plan to roll out small electric sport utility vehicles (SUVs) based on an existing underpinning next year, said Lee Ki-sang, who leads Hyundai-Kia's green cars operations. Hyundai will launch an electric SUV, followed by a sibling model by Kia Motors next year, Lee said, citing strong demand for SUVs. The subcompact or compact models would have a range of more than 300 km (186 miles) per charge, and would be "more competitive" than rival offerings, Lee said. And Hyundai said in a statement on Thursday that it plans to launch a new luxury electric vehicle under its Genesis marque in 2021, after introducing a plug-in hybrid version of an unidentified Genesis model in 2019. The separate platform represents a major push into the battery electric-car segment for a firm which has long trumpeted rival fuel-cell vehicles, reflecting strong investor pressure to compete more vigorously in a market that has been stimulated by U.S.-based Tesla's longer-range models. And tough fuel-economy and emissions regulations in the United States, Europe and China are compelling automakers to push fuel-efficient cars even though low oil prices have undercut demand. Hyundai's electric-car platform would allow the automaker to install a battery pack in vehicle floors to accommodate more battery capacity and maximize cabin space, Lee said. "The electric-vehicle platform will require high up-front investments, but we are doing this to prepare for the future," he said at Hyundai-Kia's green car research center in the city of Yongin, outside Seoul. He did not reveal the cost. Lee, a senior vice-president at Hyundai Motor, was speaking during an interview on the eve of an auto show that kicked off in Seoul on Thursday. Analysts said Hyundai had no choice but to build separate electric-vehicle platforms to be relevant in the segment. "The separate platform may incur losses initially, but Hyundai will be left behind the market if they don't offer long-distance models, like 300 km, 500 km and 600 km," said Ko Tae-bong, an analyst at Hi Investment & Securities.
