Sx T Gdi Turbocharged 2013 Kia Optima Sedan 4-door 2.0l Low Miles 3k Nr 2tone on 2040-cars
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
This car is amazing. 2013 Turbocharged SX T GDI Kia Optima with about every option and SUPER LOW MILES (ONLY 3,900 MILES). It is so fun to drive. Has turbo with paddle shift option (triptronic transmission). Panoramic sunroof, two tone leather,heated/cooled seats and heated in the rear as well. Navigation with larger wheels. This car was about $40k new 9 months ago so here is a chance to drive a $40k car for just over half price. It was repaired by a professional body shop that has been in business over 20 years and driven by the body shop owner for a time (and in my opinion should not have been given a marked title as it was just the area on the drivers side 2 doors). It doesn't get driven much as the truck seems to get driven the most. I would not hesitate to drive this across the country at any time. It is priced more than fair and I would be happy to answer any other questions at any time at 8OI-647-IOI2. I can pick up from the airport if you wanted to drive it home or I can help arrange the transport if that is preferred. I am in the shipping business but have connections to get a fair transport price (probably 500+ to west coast and $800+/- to midwest and probably $12-$1400 back east depending if I was estimating. Car is sold as is where is since it is used and I do have it listed locally to see if someone is interested in trading or buying it outright so reserve the right to end the auction at any time if local offer presents itself. Please only serious bidders and if you have less than 10 positive feedback.please contact me and let me know you are serious. I had a bad experience once or twice. Please feel free to come and inspect in person. Will accept bank wire transfer, cash in person or even major bank cashiers check that can be verified locally. Thank you Please call for any reason or questions 8OI647IOI2 |

Kia hires Morpheus from The Matrix for Super Bowl ad
Tue, 14 Jan 2014News of the Kia brand's inclusion in this year's onslaught of Super Bowl ads got out in December of last year, but other than the fact that the coming K900 flagship would carry the day, we knew nothing about the spot. Now AdWeek has revealed that it is Morpheus - he of The Matrix and guru for The One - who will guide us into a previously inconceivable reality in which Kia is a luxury car maker.
What we'll get is a 60-second spot produced by David&Goliath agency, following Morpheus (played by the man who made him famous, Laurence Fishburne) as he does the thing he does best: presenting a choice to a couple at a valet stand, allowing them to choose a red key or a blue key and, Kia would certainly want us to believe by the end of an "unforgettable ride," the truth.
It's Kia's fifth straight trip to the Super Bowl so it knows what to expect, but the task Morpheus has this time - to free your mind concerning the K900 - could be a task just as large as defeating all the agents and sentinels seeking Zion.
Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
Kia's promised "four-door coupe" Cub concept... isn't
Thu, 28 Mar 2013Kia appears to have pulled a quick one on the world with its Cub Concept. As it turns out, the machine isn't the four-door coupe they promised at all. Instead, the little showcar is a five-door hatch with suicide rear doors. That's certainly fine by our reckoning, but it isn't quite what we were expecting to see on display at the Seoul Motor Show. The concept was penned at the company's design studio in Seoul with direction from Peter Schreyer, and it gets its thrust from a 204-horsepower, 1.6-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine. With 195 pound-feet of torque on hand, we suspect the Cub would have little trouble hustling down the road.
Indoors, the Cub serves up black leather seats with yellow accents as well as a new Driving Information System that uses a gesture camera to control various operations. Right now, there are apparently no plans to put the Cub into production anywhere in the world, but we wouldn't be surprised to see some of the hatchback's elements make their way to the show room floor.
