I REPLACED THE FOLLOWING WITHIN THE PAST YEAR: 4 NEW TIRES + 1 NEW SPARE TIRE NEW FRONT AND BACK SHOCKS NEW FRONT BRAKES NEW RADIATOR NEW SWAY BAR NEW MOTOR FOR AC/HEAT NEW GAS TANK NEW GAS PUMP/SENDING UNIT ASSEMBLY NEW SPARK PLUGS HONESTLY THIS IS A GREAT UTILITY TRUCK, WAS FAITHFUL TO ME FOR THE LAST YEAR DURING MY MANY TRIPS TO HOME DEPOT IN THE WINTER TIME. JUST BOUGHT A NEW CAR SO HAVE NO USE FOR IT ANYMORE. NOT LOOKING TO MAKE ANY MONEY OFF IT REALLY. JUST WANT SOMEONE TO ENJOY IT AND GIVE IT A LITTLE TLC. I PUT OVER $2500 IN IT. Kia calls reports of second US plant 'groundless'
Thu, 25 Apr 2013In discussing how Kia planned to use a focus on quality to raise its brand perception and take the fight to BMW and Audi instead of Toyota, a recent article in Automotive News Europe said one of the primary constraints was production capacity; Kia simply doesn't have the ability to make enough cars to meet its aims with the plants it has.
The CEO of Hyundai-Kia is said to be reluctant to build more plants because of that focus on quality and the fact that its suppliers are stretched to the limit. The effects of that position are being felt right now with both makers losing market share, as in the case of Hyundai not being able to make enough of its Veloster Turbo for the US market.
A South Korean newspaper apparently reported last week that Kia was planning to build a second factory in Georgia with capacity for up to 150,000 units annually, and that the company would break ground as soon as this month on "KMMG2." Kia has responded to the news by saying, "The report is all groundless." The mayor of West Point, site of the current KMMG plant, said he didn't know anything about such plans, nor did the Georgia department of economic development have knowledge of a new Kia factory.
Kia Venga puts a fresh face on mini minivans
Fri, Oct 3 2014Minivans in America have grown to become anything but mini. That's not the case overseas, however, where Ford offers the B-Max, Citroen the C3 Picasso and Kia the Venga. On the European market now since 2009, the Venga shares its underpinnings with the Soul and with the Hyundai i20. The shape which Peter Schreyer sketched for it won a prestigious iF Design Award upon its debut, but five years later, it was time for a bit of a refresh. Debuting alongside the updated Rio at the Paris Motor Show, the new Venga has received some updated sheetmetal, an upgraded cabin and enhanced equipment – all the better for transporting a (small) family around some European metropolis, where the streets are narrow and the parking even tighter.
