Jeep: Wrangler Unlimited Sport Utility 4-door on 2040-cars
Fort White, Florida, United States
This 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S is being offered at a great value for any potential buyer. This Jeep is finished in a ultra rare and desirable, Copper Brown pearl clearcoat exterior with a stunning cognac brown leather interior. This Jeep stands out and this is a combo you will not see on any other Wrangler out there. This Jeep being a rare breed started off from the factory, with it being equipped with Sport S package, Hard Top, 3.73 gears, and Track lok rear end. MSRP on this Jeep is over $36,000.00. To add to the factory option, a number of tasteful aftermarket modifications have been added, to make this a truly one of a kind Jeep. This Jeep needs nothing, it has a full suspension with all components upgraded to worlds ahead of the factory set up. It drives way better than stock, it is smoother, quieter and way more capable. It also has the factory Hard Rock look with all brand new OEM Mopar Hard rock bumpers and side steps, along with a Smittybilt Stingray hood and Hard Rock compatible rear tire carrier. It is finished off with AEV Salta wheels on Cooper Tires in 37” with a proper lighting set up designed by Inspired Engineering and an AEV Snorkel with Superwinch 9500 pound winch. The Jeep has just over 11,000 miles and is in perfect condition. There are no scratches, dings or dents on the body or hard top. Every modification was installed about 4000 miles ago and is also in perfect condition. This Jeep sleeps inside of a garage. Both keys and original tool kit and manual are included in the sale. This Jeep has over $51,000 invested not including any labor costs, and I am missing a few small modifications. It is covered by the factory warranty which is 3 year 36 months bumper to bumper, and 5 year/ 100k miles for the power train. The oil has been changed every 3500 miles with Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and the Jeep has no issues and has never needed to have anything replaced. You will not find a cleaner, nicer Jeep at all, and you definitely can not build one for less. Carfax and Autocheck are clean as you would imagine. 2014 Jeep Cherokee musters 22 MPG city, 31 highway
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Production and media drive delays included, there has been no lack of press surrounding the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. With the most recent delay reportedly due to powertrain calibrations, we've been waiting to see how the Cherokee's fuel economy looks against the highly competitive compact CUV segment. Thanks to the EPA, we now know the fuel economy figures for the newest member of the Jeep family.
Arguably, the Cherokee has the most modern powertrain in its class with an updated base engine, all-new V6 and all-new nine-speed automatic transmission, but its fuel economy figures are simply on par for the segment. Still nothing to scoff at, though. According to fueleconomy.gov, front-wheel-drive Cherokee models with the base four-cylinder mill will top out the lineup with 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway; opting for four-wheel drive with this engine drops the figures to 21 city and 28 highway. Get even crazier with the option list, and the new 3.2-liter Pentastar V6 will get you 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway in two-wheel-drive form or 19 city and 27 highway for 4WD.
If you're wondering how that stacks up among compact CUVs, head on over to Automobile Magazine for a full fuel economy breakdown for the segment. The controversially styled crossover hits dealers this month, and we'll be driving it in just a couple of weeks.
Sergio rethinks FCA-GM merger idea, dismisses critics
Sat, Dec 5 2015After many public overtures, Fiat Chrysler Automotive CEO Sergio Marchionne has claimed his company won't be making a hostile takeover bid for General Motors. This is despite widespread speculation that FCA's desire to merge was motivated by its allegedly dire situation. As one unnamed GM exec who spoke to Automotive News earlier this year put it, "Why should [GM] bail out FCA?" "We are not choking. We are in relatively decent shape," Marchionne told journalists attending an FCA shareholder meeting in Amsterdam, AN reports. "We have been publicly rebuffed, we have been rejected and you cannot force these things. I don't want to. At the moment, we have no intention to do anything hostile." Instead of focusing on merging with GM, or any other partners for that matter, FCA will refocus on implementing its ambitious five-year investment plan, which would see it dump $52 billion into its various brands, with a particular focus on Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Jeep. So far the attempt has largely been unsuccessful, especially as it relates to the Italian brands. Earlier this week, additional reports emerged that claimed Alfa was pushing back the Giulia and an unnamed CUV while reassigning resources to updated versions of the Giulietta and MiTo hatchbacks. This is not the first time we've heard about trouble for the Giulia, of course. For Masearti, though, it was the first we'd heard of delays for Alfieri sports car, which allegedly won't appear in 2016, as promised. We can expect a proper breakdown of FCA's adjusted plans when Marchionne and Company reveal an updated product slate next month.
