I hate to sell my baby but my damn 6.0 powerstroke is broke down and I need the money to fix my truck so my toy has gotta go..
It's a 97 jeep wrangler tj that started life as a 4 cylinder as I was unhappy with it's power I stepped it up to about 400 hp with a HEMI V8 out of an 03 dodge ram with 68k miles on it. ( paperwork verified) automatic transmission , cold a/c, hemi conversion was very expensive, it works with all the factory jeep gauges, conversion uses all Mopar parts, runs and drives perfectly and it actually gets 17-18 mpg on freeway... Has a 2" lift, brand new brakes and sway bar links installed yesterday, new steering stabilizer. I just changed all the fluids... Both rear ends, transfer case, transmission, and engine oil.. It's ready to go anywhere. I also had the emissions state inspection done this weekend( yes it passes emissions ) the vinyl top needs replaced pretty soon but I do have it all complete.. The body is in great shape! No rust and maybe a little ding here or there but nothing noticeable.. It's dark green in color. Tan interior. I also installed a quick steer gear box so it drives much better than a normal tj. All aluminum radiator, I had an alignment done at Firestone when I did the inspection this weekend as well..
Tires are ok, they pass inspection but I imagine who ever buys it will lift it bigger and put big tires on it.
I need the money quick for a new motor in my truck..
This is a very well taken care of jeep it stays in the garage and only get driven on sunny jeep days ( this is why I never bought a new top for it) I am the second owner. I do no off roading in it! It's a concrete cowboy...
If you email me I will forward you my number to discuss any questions you might have. The jeep is also for sale locally so I can end the auction at anytime unless of course you use buy it now then you got it. REMEMBER AS SOON AS THERE IS A BID, "BUY IT NOW" is gone!
GOOD LUCK and HAPPY BIDDING!!!!
Thanks
Wes

Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?
Jeep Chief and Wrangler Red Rock Responder teased ahead of Easter Jeep Safari
Thu, Mar 12 2015Jeep is being coy about it's lineup for the 2015 Moab Easter Jeep Safari, releasing just a pair of shots and an exceptionally brief press release on two of the seven concepts coming to the desert later this month. So, what can we glean from the limited assets that have been given to us? Well, as we said, we know Jeep is bringing seven vehicles to its big festival. We also know the names of two vehicles, shown above – there's the Chief and the Wrangler Red Rock Responder. Which is which? A fair question. We're betting the second image is the Wrangler-based Red Rock Responder. As for the Chief, well, we've absolutely no idea what to expect there. Jeep's Moab concepts generally include the model name on which their based – see the Grand Cherokee Trail Warrior and Cherokee Dakar from last year, or even the Wrangler Red Rock Responder, mentioned above. There's no such moniker on the Chief. As for the Chief's illustrated teaser image, as we said, it doesn't reveal much. The body is angular, and quite Jeep like, with squared-off wheel arches and decidedly old-school taillights. Beyond that, though, we don't have much to go on. Expect much more not just on the Chief and Red Rock Responder, but on all seven of the concepts Jeep is bringing to Moab. The party starts on March 28 and runs until April 5. Be sure to check back then for full coverage. Related Video:
Watch this Jeep Willys return to its birthplace after 70 years
Sun, 23 Jun 2013Earlier this month, a very significant Jeep was celebrated at the Toledo North Assembly plant. No, it wasn't the upcoming reincarnation of the Jeep Cherokee, but instead it was a 1943 Willys MB that visited the Toledo grounds where it had been built exactly 70 years ago to the day.
Of course, the actual building where the MBs rolled off the assembly line before heading to Europe for World War II no longer exists, but that didn't stop Italian owner Vittorio Argento from having the vehicle shipped to the US to make its trek back to its birth place. According to Chrysler, Argento's MB is still 95-percent original and it drove 1,000 miles from New Jersey to Toledo.
The whole adventure was chronicled on a blog aptly named A Jeep Comes Home. Scroll down for a brief video from Chrysler and for some photos of the Toledo visit and be sure to read more at Argento's blog.
