For sale is my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I have many upgrades which have been well thought out before they were installed. Yes my jeep has 37 inch tires, but it feels like the stock ride due to the higher end suspension. The wheels DO NOT stick out past the fender flares and will pass the quarter test for anyone concerned about that. There are just under 86,000 miles which is relatively low for a 2008. The 4:56 gears make for a nice highway cruising speed... The following is what i have into, 5 BF Goodrich Mud terrain tires, Km2 650.00 x 5 = 3,2505 Rock Star 20x 8.5 wheels 269.95 x 5 = 1,350Front and Rear Re-Gearing to 4:56 1,800Warn 12,000lb Power Plant Winch/air compressor 1,800 4.5 Nth Degree suspension kit 1,675 Front/Rear soft doors and windows x 4 1,100JK NX slant back soft top 800Tuffy Rear Security Deck/ removable 500Pioneer AVH-X8500BHS DVD Player/Removable face 500LOD front bumper kit 695LOD rear bumper kit 800N-Fab side bar/steps 350Head Light/Tail Light/Fog light Guards 250Grill Insert 180Safari Top with header bar 170Jeep Cover 100KC auxilary lights x 4 525G.E.A.R. This vehicle has only been driven through a field once! And I spent the next 4 hours cleaning the under carriage. Other than that it has not been off roaded and never used for rock crawling The winch has been used once to pull out my neighbor who found himself stuck in some snow. Its been used as a weekend warrior/beach vehicle (Havent driven it on the beach either, tho I did plan on it). Im sure i have some other odds and ends to include on the sad day i see this thing go. I have to see what else i have laying around. Feel free to ask any questions you would like. This is an amazing vehicle and everything has been very well taken care of.

First Jeepster prototype spotted with final, boxy form
Thu, 23 Jan 2014The long-awaited baby Jeep is getting closer to production, as evidenced by these spy photos. Previously, the only images of the so-called Jeepster saw it wearing a Fiat 500L body (see below), while this new batch of photos show hefty amounts of camouflage. How is that better? Well, it's very likely there's a production body hiding under all that cladding.
While picking out styling details is virtually impossible thanks to all the camo, as our spies point out, this gives us a very sound idea of the Jeepster's final size. It's small, although we'd argue that it's only slightly smaller than the current Jeep Patriot, based on the images of the newest Jeep sitting in front of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
As we reported previously, this little bambino will be built on a Fiat platform, but the styling should be uniquely Jeep - likely to include a somewhat vertical seven-slat grille and round headlights. We can expect to see a production Jeepster, if that ends up being the actual name (Latitude has been rumored, although as that's traditionally a trim level, we imagine there'd be some confusion), when it debuts at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver is a more rugged Trailhawk
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We briefly mentioned the Jeep Cherokee Trail Carver that was heading to SEMA last week when discussing the Mopar lineup set to be shown in Las Vegas. At the time, though, we weren't able to dive too deeply into details. But with SEMA in full swing, we were able to sneak over and grab some snaps of one of the first modified Cherokees we've seen. The Cherokee is, after all, kind of an unknown quantity in the modification department, being so new and featuring such a polarizing design. We were quite interested to see what Mopar could come up with.
Starting with the Trailhawk 4x4 and its 3.2-liter V6, the engine is fitted with a Mopar cold-air intake and a new exhaust, although it's not clear what sort of power boost has resulted. We'll admit, we were hoping Jeep and Mopar would get a bit more aggressive with the Cherokee's suspension (has anyone thrown a few-inch lift on the new Jeep yet?), but there's no mention of upgrades beyond the knobby, off-road tires. Those should do some good when the going gets rough, while rock rails are there to protect the Auburn Pearl paint on the body.
Speaking of that paint, it's complemented by an interesting graphics package in contrasting black and Crush Orange. The cabin sports Katzkin Amaretto leather seats, along with tech-friendly items like a wireless charging system for cellphones and wireless internet.
Jeep Wrangler Polar is a tasty frozen treat
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Perhaps it's because we've seen so many kitted-out examples over the years, but it seems to us that the Jeep Wrangler tends to wear its special-edition duds better than most models. It might be the icon's familiar rectilinear proportions or the inherent bolt-on look of its extremities - bumpers, mirrors, lighting, and step rails - but we've seen precious few factory specials that look anything but excellent.
Case in point: this new Jeep Wrangler Polar unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This European-market limited-edition model is said to be a celebration of winter driving, which evidently works out to a body-color hardtop, black-accent seven-slot grille, 18-inch gloss black wheels, Trac-Lok limited-slip differential and a hard hat for the spare tire. Finished here in Hydro Blue (Billet Silver Metallic and Bright White are also available) and a black interior with Polar White accents, the Polar edition features badges displaying 78° S and 106° E longitude and latitude coordinates for Vostok, Antarctica.
This new Jeep will be available in both standard and Unlimited formats with either the 3.6-liter Pentastar gas engine or the still-not-for-US 2.8-liter turbodiesel when it bows early next year. For further details, check out our gallery above and the press release below.
