FOR SALE:

My 1998 Jeep wrangler. This Jeep has been in my family since it was new. It has NEVER broken down, NEVER not started and NEVER left any of us stranded. In 194k miles, this Jeep has brought nothing but years of car payment free driving and drives like it is only just broken in. It had a paint job about 7 years ago, which still gives it some shine as you can see! It is by no means perfect, but if you want an iron clad, fun driving, handle anything, convertible that will last you years... DONT LET THIS ONE GO!

I love Ebay and I love what it stands for, which is why I intend to disclose both everything GOOD and everything BAD about this Jeep.

THE GOOD:

CLEAN CARFAX! Factory A/C!! 4.0 Inline 6, with the 5-spd! 4WD Hi and Low engage and drive perfectly. Exterior appearance of this Jeep is good. Still gets compliments and fits right in here in Miami Beach. The top is fairly new (best top), is water tight and goes up and down like a charm. NO HOLES. The seats are in surprisingly GREAT shape for there age front and back, NO RIPS. The dash, armrest and glove box are all present and work. Windshield wipers and washers work as well. Speedo, Tach, EVERYTHING WORKS, NO CHECK ENGINE or ANY OTHER LIGHTS. Even the E Brake works. Mechanically the Jeep runs, starts and moves great. I have driven it daily for a better part of 10 years.

Recent Fixes:
Oil and Filter
New Radiator and Fluid
New Power steering pump
Complete New A/C System (except evaporator)
New Head Gasket Set
New Distributer Cap
New Wiring

Radio is brand new Pioneer single CD player with Bluetooth Audio Streaming!!! With great speakers in the factory speaker bar and new speakers in dash.

Tires and Rims in great shape with full matching spare.
Jack and tools still in jeep

OK THE BAD:
-If you look at the driver front fender, I rear ended someone. It was very minor but I have not had it fixed.
-The Fuel gauge works, but empty is at 1/4 tank?
-The Drivers door exterior handle works perfectly, but is popped out of place
-THe lock on passenger door sticks out sometimes
-Although the ENTIRE AC system is new, it does not hold a charge. It needs an evaporator ($75 on ebay)
-Although the entire power steering system is new, it leaks the fluid out because it needs new power steering gear ($113)
-The spare is flat, I dont know if it holds air or not but its flat
-The wheels need to be balanced, there is a shimmy at 60-70MPH but not under or over

Other than that stuff this Jeep is great.. Any questions call 914 216 1334 Adam or email Rxhevntt@me.com or through ebay. Carfax provided free via email.

WWII Jeep 'found in crate' set to cross Greenwich auction block

Thu, 30 May 2013

Fans of old military vehicles might want to pay extra close attention to the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance coming up this weekend. Crossing the Bonhams auction block on Sunday are a pair of seemingly flawless World War II Jeeps, which are both expected to fetch serious dollars.
Lot Number 305 at the auction is a 1945 Ford GPW Jeep that has been fully restored, which is expected to command between $35,000 and $45,000. Shortly after the Ford GPW, a potentially more interesting 1944 Willys MB (shown above) will be auctioned off, but Hemmings raises some red flags about this Jeep. First, it is claiming to have been "discovered in its original crate about 30 years ago," but there is no proof or documentation of any sort. Also, it is claiming to be all original, but it was given a paint job "shortly after it was discovered." Even with these questionable descriptions, this Willys could reach between $20,000 and $30,000. Head over to Bonhams' site and Hemmings for more information on both WW2-era Jeeps.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and a Final Four of automakers | Autoblog Podcast #723

Fri, Apr 1 2022

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski. We start out with news on the Lotus Eletre and Ferrari Purosangue. These two high-end crossovers are followed by discussions about the new inline-six engines from Stellantis and an overabundance of Hummer EV orders. Next we try something we've never tried before: ranking automaker blue bloods. We took inspiration from the current NCAA tournament, which features Duke, North Carolina, Villanova and Kansas — very much traditional blue-blood basketball programs — to name our Final Four automakers. Let us know if you agree or disagree with our picks and what your definition of a blue blood car brand is. We wrap up with a discussion about the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk that Jeremy's been driving all week. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com.
