Awesome jeep for sell. Mickey Thompson Black Wheels with BFG All terrains with about 20k on them. I added the Rubicon Rock Rails to the side of the jeep and deleted the rear tire holder just because i preferred the look but the tire carrier and hardware will come with the jeep when it sells. I also have side mirrors so if you take the doors off you still have mirrors. I added grab handles and a nice set of weather tech Floor mats. Jeep is all Stock no Lift Nor has there ever been a lift on it. The only thing ive don to the engine is add a K and N Drop in air filter so i didn't have to keep buying filters. The radio wasn't to my liking so i had Best Buy install Alpine all the way around including a deck with Bluetooth Hands free and a sub woofer so the radio sounds great. Power windows, and freedom Hard Top. Also has the towing package. The only thing i ever pulled was a small trailer with camping gear on it and it did fine. I hate to sell it. Its been a great jeep but i have a new baby coming and need to get out of the car payment. The title is held at my Local Credit Union so it will be a smooth transaction. No tears in the seats. Tailgate has a few dings here and there but nothing crazy. Oil changed every 3 and this jeep has never been offroad. Any questions please feel free to email me. Good Luck!

MotorWeek reviews '83 American Motors lineup

Wed, Mar 18 2015

The 30th anniversary of American Motors' 1987 sale to Chrysler by Renault is just a few years away. AMC is long dead, but for its latest peek in the archives, MotorWeek winds back the clock to somewhat happier times. Take a look at the entire AMC lineup from 1983, including its models from Jeep and Renault. The Jeeps, and to a lesser extent, the AMC Eagle, enjoy a cult following today, but it's amazing how many of these other vehicles are now practically forgotten. Even the big debut in '83 of the Renault Alliance is largely ignored. Although with a ludicrous amount of body roll and a 55-horsepower 1.4-liter engine, it's probably rightly buried. eBay Find of the Day: Jeep Comanche Zombie Response Unit

Sat, 02 Feb 2013

We've seen some pretty fantastic apocalypse vehicles in our day. We've even owned one or two, but this particular Jeep Comanche tugs at our heart strings in all the right ways. Let's start with the basics: there's a stout 4.0-liter engine underhood hooked to a five-speed manual transmission, and while we wish this truck was four-wheel drive, the two-inch lift and oversize tires should help you overcome obstacles with enough momentum.
Details like handy shovels, Jerry cans and a brush guard inspired by the hardware on a CUCV help lend the truck a no-nonsense appeal, and the functional CB whip antenna means you can ask for backup when the undead hordes come your way. If you like what you see as much as we do, you can head over to eBay Motors to place a bid. The auction has inched up to $4,000 with just two days left on the clock.

Fiat 500X poised for Paris catwalk

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We've known for some time that the new, Fiat-based baby Jeep (which may or may not be called the Jeepster) is set to arrive at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. What we weren't sure of was whether its platform mate, the so-called Fiat 500X, would be doing so alongside or at a later date. Well, according to Reuters, we'll get to see the first all-wheel-drive 500 later this year in the City of Lights.
Yes, we can expect the 500X to arrive at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, according to an official with an Italian trade union. The unnamed source cited retooling at Fiat's Melfi factory, in southern Italy, which currently produces the Grande Punto. It's expected that the newest member of the growing 500 family will replace the Suzuki SX4-based Fiat Sedici, although when the X will go on sale remains an open question.
According to Reuters, both the Jeepster and 500X will be built alongside each other in Italy. Whether the 500X will cross the pond with it's slat-grilled cousin, though, remains to be seen (we're leaning towards yes).
