This is 2008 Jeep wrangler X with all the good stuff and low miles. Only 24,000. Vehicle has 4" skyjacker lift, 35" Procomp extreme terrain tires on Black rock rims. Vehicle tires are at about 60% but with a brand new full size procomp spare and black rock rim. Vehicle has heavy duty Smitty bulit front, rear bumper and tire carrier with aftermarket 3rd brake light. Smitty built narrow metal fenders and smitty built heavy duty rocker guards. Vehicle has 4.10 gears in front and rear axle with ARB air lockers front and rear also. ARB air compressor professionally mounted under hood with all lines ran and daystar switch console inside. Vehicle is equiqqued with a Smitty built XRC winch professionally installed in front bumper. Heavy duty skyjacker steering stabilizer. Tue, 10 Dec 2013The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Chrysler recalls 2013 Ram pickups, 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Chrysler's spate of successful products is about to be marred by a trio of recalls. The Pentastar is recalling 51,477 Ram trucks and Jeep SUVs. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, there have been no reported accidents, injuries or deaths related to the affected vehicles.
The largest action covers the Ram 1500, which is seeing 45,961 trucks being recalled. Models built between June 26, 2012 and February 5, 2013 are being recalled due to a potential software issue in the electronic stability control. Apparently, the system can be randomly deactivated upon vehicle startup.
Chrysler is also recalling 4,458 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee models. Covering everything but the SRT models, the potentially defective SUVs were built between January 14 and March 20, 2013. This recall focuses on "premium headlights," which means cars equipped with LED running lights. During the switch from the bright daytime running lamp setting to the low-intensity parking light setting, an electrical spike can cause one of the Jeep's computers to go into a safe mode, turning off the LEDs. This violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
