The wreck appears to have been on the front passenger side, because there is a newly painted fender, hood, grille, radiator and a/c condenser."

I am selling a 2004 Jeep wrangler unlimited, also known as LJ. The LJ was a limited production jeep from 2004-2006, and has a 10" longer wheelbase than the regular TJ wrangler. The longer wheelbase allows for a smoother ride over the regular TJ. This jeep is the lime green color, you either love it or hate it.... Not much else to say, other than when you put a lift, big tires and black wheels on this jeep, it REALLY looks sharp.

This jeep was involved in a wreck by the previous owners, and I have noted this in another description. Salvage title is just a piece of paper, if you want a good jeep for a fair price, a salvage title vehicle may be good for you. If you really look hard the newly painted parts are slightly off, if this is a worry, this jeep isn't for you. This jeep is perfect for someone who wants to keep this for a while, and enjoy it. One day the LJ's will be a highly sought after vehicle. The ride much better and they have more room in the rear.

There are a few other flaws: there is a deep scratch in the roof that is about 2" long, not leaking, but worth mentioning. Also, there are some dog hairs in the carpet.. My vacuum was borrowed and not returned, so I have not been able to do this. The wheels have a bit of corrosion on the edges, and the jeep will need tires.

This has the hard to find hard top also, which can be valued at $1000-$1500 (or more), so take this into consideration when bidding. If you do not want the hardtop, I will credit you back $1000 for the top.
As far as the jeep runs and drives, there are no problems, the engine is very quiet and the transmission shifts as you expect (no problems). The 4 wheel drive works well. The A/C blows cold.
Overall this is a nice jeep and would be great for daily driving, off-roading, traveling, towing behind a motor home, around the farm or at the beach.

I am selling this jeep as-is and where-is with no warranty. You are welcome to email and ask for my phone number to discuss the jeep, or come to Charleston and take a look for yourself (best if you are serious).
I will assist with shipping, like take to a local terminal or help load, but that is it, the winning owner will need to handle all of the arrangements.
Please make sure you know what you are bidding on, so there are no misunderstandings.
The jeep is also listed locally, so it may end without notice, but I will honor a commitment with a non refundable deposit.
Zero feedback bidders, or negative feedback bidders bids are subject to deletion.
Happy bidding...........

First Jeepster prototype spotted with final, boxy form

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

The long-awaited baby Jeep is getting closer to production, as evidenced by these spy photos. Previously, the only images of the so-called Jeepster saw it wearing a Fiat 500L body (see below), while this new batch of photos show hefty amounts of camouflage. How is that better? Well, it's very likely there's a production body hiding under all that cladding.
While picking out styling details is virtually impossible thanks to all the camo, as our spies point out, this gives us a very sound idea of the Jeepster's final size. It's small, although we'd argue that it's only slightly smaller than the current Jeep Patriot, based on the images of the newest Jeep sitting in front of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
As we reported previously, this little bambino will be built on a Fiat platform, but the styling should be uniquely Jeep - likely to include a somewhat vertical seven-slat grille and round headlights. We can expect to see a production Jeepster, if that ends up being the actual name (Latitude has been rumored, although as that's traditionally a trim level, we imagine there'd be some confusion), when it debuts at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
