2001 Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Sport TJ

Super Clean! Many Upgrades! Very tight Powertrain!

ROAD READY!

LOW MILES only 102K

NO ACCIDENTS

CLEAN and CLEAR title in hand

What an incredible find! A super clean mostly original TJ Wrangler with low miles! This Jeep has rarely been off-road and it shows! Never in MUD! One of the most diserable years to own a TJ, with the bullet proof inline 6 4.0L engine with a 5 speed manual gearbox matched up. Classic Flame Red sets it off and I might add the body and paint look excellent for its age! Garage kept most of its life. Won't find a cleaner one around with the right powertrain and ugrades ready to ride!

The Inline 6 motor is mechanically sound. Inspections are welcomed! No oil leaks anywhere. The rear main seal is solid with no leakage as well. Recent tune-up at 91K miles. Last oil change at 101560. Trans is very solid and smooth. Clutch engages perfectly with no slippage. Goes through the gears very nicely and the powerband is still strong! Would not hesitate to drive this Jeep anywhere in the country. Motor idles perfect. Super reliable and cranks on a dime everytime! Four wheel drive engages properly with no grinding or hesitation. Goes through neutral and 4Low without issue. Brakes are solid and stops on a dime. Rotors are good, not warped or gouged. Pads have been replaced about 10K miles ago. Alignment is straight and goes down the road very well. Steering is very tight still, no slack or any kind or death wobble.

The original steel wheels have been replaced with 2013 Rubicon wheels and tires. The wheels are the classic five spokes in gunmetal finish (only found on Rubions) The tires are BFGoodrich Mud Terrains! The set has less than 5K miles and tread is close to new! MATCHING Spare wheel an tire is included. Absolutely no scratches or ANY curb rash to be found.

The interior is EXCELLENT! The front seats are super comfortable and show very little wear. The backseat has been rarely used and it shows. All carpet is still down and very clean. No stains, no rips, and NO dog hair. Glove box and center console is lockable and like new. Premium sound system installed recently. Kenwood Audio Stereo with some perks! HD Radio, CD player, USB and AUX plug ins for any source of music you desire! BUILT IN bluetooth with mic mounted on dash (no wind noise) Polk audio speakers throughout Jeep including Sport bar. SOUNDS really great crisp quality audio for any genre of music. The dash is excellet, NO cracks and everything is tight. E brake works well even on an incline. LOCKING GAS CAP upgrade with two keys! YES the side door windows ARE INCLUDED and pop right in. (Not pictured) They are in excellent condition as well, very light wear. The top was replaced two years ago, Bestop soft top. Like new condition. Has rarely gone down since the original one was replaced. All windows are clean with very light wear. Rear view mirror is still mounted. NO cracks or rock chips in windshield! ONLY issues on the interior: Tiny crack at the bottom corner of the gauge cluster protective clear peice. One scratch in the passenger side door panel (noticeable). Thats it. SUper nice interior any Jeeper would be proud to have!

The paint looks fantastic for its age! NO damage ANYWHERE! No dings, no dents, no offroad scraping, no major scratches. Light wear and tear to be expected. Has normal rock chips in the front paint. The hood is very straight and glossy deep paint. Has som abrasions and wear as well, but looks nice still. ALL paint is butter smooth and waxed regularly. Rich deep shine and would easily rate the paint and body a solid 8 out of 10. Very presentable! All the trim and plastics still look great! No sratching or gouges. Side steps have been added for ease of access. End caps on the front bumper have been removed. Fog lights are very bright and work well!

Underneath the hood is super clean. Well cared for its whole life, no dissapointments here. Underneath is clean as well. RUST FREE Jeep! Always down south. True Georgia Jeep! Rear bumper and a brand new tow hitch is INCLUDED with sale (not pictured) All hardware to install is included. Rear cargo has the lock box for storage and in case the top is down your cargo is SECURED. Jeep comes with THREE sets of keys and two keys for locking gas cap. Clean and clear title in hand ready to do business. No tire kickers or scammers please....I cn help with your shipping arrangements if your not local. I welcome ALL pre-purchase inspections and test drives. Cash, money order, or bank certified checks are acceptable forms of payment. Deposit is required within 24 hours or will be re-listed. Remainder of payment in full within 72 hours please.

2020 Land Rover Defender vs. 2020 Jeep Wrangler: How they compare on paper

Tue, Sep 10 2019

For ages, the Jeep Wrangler has had the serious off-road SUV market in America all to itself, especially when it comes to two-door variants. But competition is coming, and the first on its way is the 2020 Land Rover Defender, which was just revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Each packages retro looks and impressive off-road capability, but does one have an advantage? We decided to take a look into each SUV's specifications and compare them on their engines, drivetrains, interior space and towing among other things, to see how they stack up. Since both SUVs are offered in two-door and four-door versions, we've made sure to feature both versions. You can find all the vital stats in the chart below, followed by more in-depth analysis. Engines and drivetrains The Land Rover is the clear high-performance option of these two SUVs. Its base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, offered only in the four-door Defender 110, is more powerful than either of the gas engines offered on the Jeep Wrangler. The Wrangler's four-cylinder matches it on torque, at least. The optional turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six in the Defender makes over 100 more horsepower and pound-feet of torque than either Jeep gas engine. But if you're looking for diesel propulsion, along with its associated torque and fuel economy, the Wrangler will be your only option. Final specs haven't been released, but in the Ram 1500, the same engine makes 260 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy hasn't been announced for the Land Rover or the diesel Wrangler. But if fuel economy is a concern, the four-cylinder Wrangler is the most frugal of the SUVs we have numbers on. As for transmissions, the Wrangler is your only choice if you have to have a manual. It's available on both the two-door and four-door models, but only with the V6 engine. If you don't mind an automatic transmission, both SUVs come with variations on the ZF eight-speed auto. Getting the power to the wheels is another area where these two SUVs diverge. The Jeep is very traditional with a standard selectable four-wheel-drive system with two-wheel drive, and low- and high-range four-wheel drive modes. On the Sahara, there's an available full-time four-wheel drive mode, but the other modes are still available. On the Land Rover, you get full-time four-wheel drive, the same kind used on the Land Rover Range Rover.

2015 Easter Jeep Safari concepts unveiled [w/videos]

Thu, Mar 19 2015

A yearly tradition, Jeep has unveiled seven new concepts that will participate in the 49th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT, in just a couple of weeks. This event is a sort of mecca for Jeep owners and enthusiasts, and like years past, FCA's off-road brand has prepared a slew of excellent new concepts that use a combination of production and prototype Jeep Performance Parts, from the folks at Mopar. These concepts are far more than just production Jeep vehicles with lift kits and off-road tires, though. What we have here are a number of fully baked, one-off SUVs that show the passion and dedication of Jeep's engineers. The Easter Jeep Safari takes place from March 28 to April 5. Here's a look at what'll be hitting the trails this year. 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts: Jeep Chief View 20 Photos Jeep Chief Arguably the coolest concept of the bunch, this Wrangler-based concept is an excellent tribute to the classic, fullsize Jeep Cherokee from the 1970s. It's painted in a vintage Ocean Blue color, with a white, "French Bread" roof. There's also a custom razor grille (something made famous on the original Wagoneer), removable sides, chrome bumpers, and classic-looking, 17-inch wheels. Inside, there's surfer-inspired pink, blue, and white cloth mixed with leather trim, with more fun details like a Rosewood front passenger grab handle and tiki-look shift handle. Of course, this thing looks to be truly capable off-road, too, with a two-inch lift kit, Fox shocks, Dana 44 axles at the front and rear, and a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 underhood. 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts: Jeep Staff Car View 27 Photos Jeep Staff Car This one's a proper salute to the Jeep military service vehicles of yore. It's an open-air concept based on the four-door Wrangler, with tons of heritage design cues. It looks old, but we promise, it's totally new. It's got basic steel wheels, a stretched canvas roof, bench seats, a painted steel floor, a built-in cooler that accommodates up to 85 cans, and is painted in an iconic Sandstorm color. When the going gets tough, the Staff Car can handle it with aplomb, thanks to the Jeep Performance Parts two-inch lift kit, Fox shocks, Dana 44 axles, and again, the Wrangler's 3.6-liter V6. 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts: Jeep Wrangler Africa View 16 Photos Jeep Wrangler Africa Here's another take on the Wrangler Unlimited, painted in Desert Tan, but this time powered by a 2.8-liter diesel engine.
