We are very proud to present to you this amazing 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara V6 4.0 4x4 with manual transmission and not equipped with factory A/C. These Wranglers are becoming harder and harder to find especially in this condition. It has been prepped and serviced at our onsite facility, it runs and looks amazing. It currently has 134,920 Actual miles and it has had two previous owners and as per autocheck it show previous accident which base upon our inspection it was very minor and only the fender flair on the passenger side was replaced and corner marker was replaced. It has a clean and clear Connecticut title which is ready to be registered anywhere. The body of the truck is clean and clear, it has one minor issue on the driver side door(see picture) and the interior is FLAWLESS with no major flaws or issues, and mechanically it is sound! This inline V6 4.0 when maintained properly like this one can exceed 300k with no issue, the manual transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding, chatter, or clutch issues at all! We recommend changing the rear tires. The under carriage is clean with normal surface rust NO ROT ANYWHERE! This Wrangler's undercarriage is clean and worry free. All components on the truck are working properly and this one will make you happy for many years to come. Sat, 23 Mar 2013A report in The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the obstacles to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee that go beyond its mootable yet "very contemporary" looks, almost all of them based on Fiat's financial position. Starting with that sheetmetal, in defense of it SRT president Ralph Gilles and Jeep design head Mark Allen said they wanted to "make sure the design still looks modern five years from now."
The WSJ piece doesn't cite longevity as a factor, instead saying that its features originated in a design for an Alfa Romeo, the transformation into a Jeep design meant allowing Chrysler get it to market more quickly and save "hundreds of millions of dollars" in engineering.
The need for Fiat to save money while it weathers the European situation has cut budgets for development, engineering and the pace of retooling the Toledo, Ohio plant to build the Cherokee. In a familiar case of snowballing at work, among the effects will be pushing back the Cherokee's volume sales date and delaying updates to some of Chrysler's other products.
