Well after 12 years it has come time for me to part with my jeep that has provided me with so much enjoyment.
1994 YJ this jeep is as close to a show jeep as I would ever want and still be able to wheel it just about any place you would want. Wheel base is stretched out to 104" runs a ford 8.8 rear with 4.88 gears, Detroit locker, Chrome molly shafts, disk brakes, with a spring over ford F-150 rear spring with anti wrap bar, front is a Dana 30 (TJ) same Yukon 4.88 gears, OX locker, Chrome molly shafts, hydro assist steering, All shocks are Bilstien 5150's, all tie rod ends are one ton with Chrome molly DOM tubing, and 4.5" spring under YJ springs, 2.5 motor with upgraded throttle body and spacer cold air intake headers, 2.5" exh, routed under the front of the oil pan, trans is the ax-5, transfer case is a three speed Stak mini case, there are tube and plate skids under the motor trans and T/C, they are almost even with the bottom of the frame rails. On board belt driven air, front winch is a Warn hs9500i with new Master pull 3/8 x 80 line, rear winch is a 8000# with 100 ft of syn line. fuel tank has been moved forward of the rear axle, and closed in with alum plate, and has been rino lined the whole interior, leather and swede race seats with 5 point harness manufacture date mar 11, it has a marine am/fm/ cd player with console and over head speakers, full roll cage, the body has never been wrecked and never repaired, so no bondo no rust, no rust on or in the frame, paint is close to show quality black with 7 different pearls in the clear coat, tube fenders are black and run from the front to the rear they do tie into the rock sliders to prevent any body damage, tire are 36 x 13.5 x 15 Iroks with about 1000 miles on them, spare is about 50% all 5 are on custom 15 x 12 semi gloss powder coated bead locks, the bead locks are powder coated silver, will come with full soft top and Half doors and a Bimini top and Cab cover, I have the build list for the jeep with every thing that has been done, I owned a shop for a lot of years and this is the result of what I built for me to wheel, so there were no short cuts and only the best of parts. it was built for rock crawling only mud it has seen is what was on the trail to the rocks, it is garage kept and treated like one of my kids. over the years I have put over $40,000 into it knowing full well when the day came I had to give up wheeling I would not come close to getting my money out of it, but at the same time I know what it is worth and if I cant get that I don't have any issue with it sitting in my garage.
As you can tell this is a very custom built jeep it is street legal just probably not the best choice as a daily driver although it does get around 18 mpg on the road, I do drive it to work around 19 miles one way it does great a little slow on the hills but very driveable.
I do not accept Pay Pal

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
