Very Clean very good running 1987 Wrangler YJ with Mopar fuel injection conversion kit. Motor rebuilt and has less than 30k, body has just under 127k.
The Good:
Rebuilt motor bored .60 with under 30k (previous owner did not give me paperwork but I have no reason to believe it is not true- stamp on block says rebuilt-.60 bored.
transmission and body have 127k approximately, custom front bumper with D-rings front and back.
Floors sanded, painted and bedlined inside and undercoated underneath. Solid frame. Comes with hard top and bikini top.
Recent new radiator, water pump, hoses, belts, rear brakes and calipers.
Mopar P524968AD multipoint Fuel injection Kit installed (sells for $2600 Summit racing)
4X4 Posi-Lok Positive axle engagement kit installed to engage 4wd manually and not worry about vacuum.
Good 80% tread aggressive 31 inch tires
recently passed inspection
good exhaust
Head turner, some other extras like off-road lights not hooked up and y-jack mounted on hood
Needs but not bad:
power steering slow leak has to be topped off once a month- I have new line not yet installed, new starter just put in a bit noisy (forum say autozone or advance ones are cheap so use AC Delco- $75 on ebay)
2 different black door panels inside, typical rust on fenders where fender meets fender flares small surface rust on bottom of window frame- but not rotted at all.
Runs very well, 4 wheel works great
NO SCAMS PLEASE_ NO CHECKS FOR 10k and I send you the difference, no heartache stories buying a car from an oil rig out at sea- yes I have heard them all !!

Car Club USA: Moab Jeep Jamboree
Thu, Jan 22 2015Today Autoblog is excited to premiere its latest original video series, Car Club USA. Car Club USA's debut episode features the Just Jeeps club of Omaha, including a father-son duo traveling to Moab, UT to brave the treacherous trails. Brian is behind the wheel, as his father guides him through the most dangerous geographical features Moab's red desert has to offer. Joining them are Gene and Jean, an older married couple from Minnesota whose modified Jeep Wrangler – like its owners – knows no bounds. "We're in our seventies now," explained Jean. "We could be sitting at home in a rocking chair watching TV, but we'd rather do this." Also hitting the trails is Matt, a Californian who looks to pay homage to his father by exploring southern Utah in a World War II-era Jeep Willys. "This was our stomping ground," said Matt. "That's why I chose to come to Utah for my big vacation this year, in his memory, to see some of the places we used to go together, and have fun and do some Jeeping." Each Car Club USA episode features a different car club or event from across the US, where passionate owner communities gather to share automotive experiences and embark on incredible adventures. From Main Street cruises to off-road trails, catch all the latest car club activity on Autoblog. Jeep SUV Off-Road Vehicles Car Club USA Videos
This American Life spends a week selling Jeeps in Long Island
Thu, 19 Dec 2013So you think you know car dealers? Well, maybe you do, but This American Life spent a month at Town and Country Jeep Chrysler Doge Ram in Long Island to give us a behind-the-scenes look (or listen, since it's a radio program) at what it's like to be a car dealer.
Yes, there's a lot of swearing in thick New York accents, frustration, confusion, and generally it's a madhouse at the dealership. But that's understandable when the sales staff has to sell 129 vehicles in October in order to get an $85,000 manufacturer bonus - with several other Jeep dealerships within a 10-mile radius.
The episode, 129 Cars, is worth a listen, but make sure you have 71 minutes to spare if you want to get through it in one sitting. Head here for the unedited version or here for the bleeped version (which is 58 minutes long).
