This 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a beautiful example of a significant vehicle. Only 115K miles.  This Jeep is a southern vehicle and looks nice inside and out.

Repainted once in the original color, you may find a stray chip or ding, but nothing that really stand out. The faux wood panels are original and look well preserved with just minor wear.  There is some pitting and scratches on the chrome trim and bumpers.   The body may have a few small scratches and chips , but nothing that will show up in pictures.

Inside, the driver seat leather was replaced.  The rest of the seats are original and show minor wear.  The carpets and headliner were replaced and also look good.  All controls work well with the exception of some of the power door locks.  I believe one of the rear locks does not move with the rest.  The cruise control and all gauges work.  The a/c worked great last summer.!  All of the carpeting was replaced.  The rear seatbelts were removed when this was done and have unfortunately been misplaced.  If I find them before the end of the auction, they will be included.  Some of the chrome around the windshield needs to be reinstalled.   It was removed for painting and was loose and rattling when traveling at highway speeds.   I removed rather than risk losing it.  An aftermarket stereo with aux port has been installed.  The truck has a current Virginia state inspection.  Michelin whitewalls have 50% tread left.

I have driven this truck over 3000 miles over the past year and have not had any problems.   Mechanically, it runs and drives well but the idle seems a bit high.  This is the final year this truck was made and this is a very nice example.  I am not a car dealer, but a private collector.  The car is available for inspection prior to bidding in the Richmond, VA area.  Ask any questions before bidding and serious bids only.

Work at a Chrysler dealership, get free college education

Mon, May 4 2015

The cost of a college education in the US can put a student tens (hundreds, in some cases) of thousands of dollars into debt. FCA US wants to give its dealership employees a leg up, though, and the automaker is now offering a completely free education to them through a partnership with Strayer University. The workers can take any of the college's classes online or on campus through program called Degrees@Work. Currently, the offer is only available to employees Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat dealers in the automaker's Southeast region, which includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. However, a national expansion will happen before the end of the year, Strayer spokesperson Cristina Henley tells Autoblog. The program will cover all of the students' expenses, including their books, according to Henley. FCA US sees this partnership as a way to improve the talent of its workforce, retain employees longer and possibly attract people wanting to take advantage of this free education. "Many of our dealers have expressed concern over the availability of talent to fill open positions due to business growth and turnover in their stores, especially in metro markets," Al Gardner, the company's Head of Dealer Network Development, said in the Degrees@Work announcement. Strayer has about 40 programs available, including in business administration, accounting, marketing, and more, and the university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. It will also give FCA US employees credit for their work experience to get them a diploma even more quickly. FCA US Dealers to Offer Employees No-Cost, No-Debt College Education FCA US teams with Strayer University to develop first-of-its-kind dealer program Degrees@Work program open to all employees of participating dealerships Employees can earn no-cost, no-debt degree through Strayer University All Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships may participate First phase of program rollout begins with dealers in the FCA US Southeast Business Center National rollout expected later this year May 4, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Employees of Chrysler, JeepĀ®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships will have the unique opportunity to earn a no-cost, no-debt college degree through Strayer University's Degrees@Work program, developed in collaboration with FCA US LLC. FCA US is the only company in the automotive industry to offer the program.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT

Jeep's Super 'Ute Is Fun Thrown In The Face Of Conventional Wisdom
Let's talk asses for a moment. What do they have to do with the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, you ask?
Well, we're here to tell you that this SRT can haul some. Lots of them, as a matter of fact: Jeep has increased the towing capacity of its most powerful SUV to 7,200 pounds. Assuming the average donkey weighs about 400 pounds, the Grand Cherokee SRT can haul ass to the tune of 18 burros, give or take a covered trailer or so, which is significantly more than it could in previous years. In 2013, the machine could manage 5,000 pounds, while the first generation was rated at just 3,500. The increase is mostly attributable to a new eight-speed automatic transmission and beefier rear axle, and it's a welcome update for those who'd like to use their SUV as, well, an SUV with an emphasis on utility.

Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
What other components are sourced from the massive International hauler? No idea. We suggest you check out the video below and draw your own conclusions. Oh, and if you've got any other ideas, feel free to let us know in the Comments.
