1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Base Sport Utility 4-door 5.9l on 2040-cars
Bellvue, Colorado, United States
Beautiful Silver Grand Wagoneer with Burgandy interior which is in excellent shape, seats work and have no tears. Paint is in great shape, vehicle is straight with very little rust. There is a spot of rust near both windshield wipers and a little around rear windows, frame looks good as well as rocker panels.
Engine was recently replaced with a used one at which time the original block had oil mods done. Original block will come with Jeep as well as many other parts and a repair manual. Upgrades- TFI with MSD cap, rotor, coil, and wires. All wiring has been replaced and routed in a clean fashion. All fusible links have been upgraded with in-line fuses. All vacuum lines have been replaced. Airconditioning works and has been upgraded. Tires have a decent tread depth but, are at least 10 years old. This Jeep was used as a daily driver until around Christmas, it now needs the ignition switch replaced(will run until you let go of key) has a new ignition switch coming with it. Bring a trailer big enough for the Jeep, engine block and MANY other parts, including trim pieces etc. Very clean vehicle inside and out, 4wheel drive works like a champ Hi and Low. rear window motor is inoperable but, defroster works - passenger rear window motor is weak - overhead console did light up and then quit so, probably wiring under carpet - cruise control works but, vacuum is weak - all emissions equipment in place |

Chrysler Recalls 350K Vehicles To Fix Ignition Switches
Thu, Sep 25 2014Chrysler is recalling nearly 350,000 cars and SUVs to fix ignition switches that could unexpectedly shut off the engines. The recall covers 2008 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger sedans, and Dodge Magnum wagons. All were built before May 12, 2008. Chrysler says the ignitions may not fully return to the "on" position after being started. The switches could move to "accessory" or "off." That could shut off the engine and knock out power-assisted steering and other features. Chrysler knows of one crash and no injuries from the problem. It's telling people to use the key alone in the ignition and confirm that switches have returned to "on" after starting their cars. Chrysler is investigating the cause. Customers will be notified when repairs are ready. Related Gallery The Trucks And SUVs Consumers Are Liking Most View 11 Photos
This incredibly detailed toy Jeep will set you back $2,300 [w/video]
Wed, Dec 30 2015When I was a kid, I desperately wanted one of those Power Wheels Ford-badged Big Foot impersonators. They were far cooler than my lousy, plastic Big Wheel trike. This 1/8-scale electric Jeep takes the Power Wheels idea to a fanatical level. For one, the Capo Racing Jeep is as true to the real Wrangler as is possible in a 1/8-scale vehicle. Everything works, from the three-speed automatic transmission to the transfer case to the locking differentials. It uses a body-on-frame design with a real, metal multi-link suspension. In the cabin, the seats recline and the instruments light up. It has to be one of the most remarkable miniatures we've ever laid eyes on. Of course, that all comes at a price. As our chums at Jalopnik point out, for $2,300 you could pick up a full-size Wrangler. It'd be battered, sure, but it'd be something you could take on actual roads. Check out the fully gallery of images and official details over on the Capo Racing website. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Choose Your Own Adventure... But Choose Wisely
Jeep has got you covered. We can say this without even having to know what it is you want, because there's hardly an option or configuration that you won't find in the 2014 Grand Cherokee. There are three different engines, three different four-wheel-drive systems (plus rear-wheel drive), four different trim levels - not counting SRT - two different suspension setups and five different settings for various off-road terrain conditions. If you happen to check the box for Quadra-Lift, you'll also have five different ride-height settings for the driver-selectable air suspension.
As you might expect with so many customization possibilities, the way a buyer checks the options sheet can have a profound effect on the final product and its capabilities, to say nothing of its price. Nowhere is that more true than with the Grand Cherokee's choice of engines, with the brand-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 stealing the spotlight from the still excellent gasoline-fueled 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerplants that carry over from last year. No matter which engine you choose, though, it will be paired up with Jeep's new standard eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This, ladies and gentlemen, is very good news indeed.
