Up for sale is my classic 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The car is fully loaded and everything works as it should besides the AC which needs a charge. It runs and shifts excellent and is all original besides the wheels, tires, and 3 inch lift which are all brand new. The tires are 31x10.5 all terrains. All power options work including the rear tailgate window. The interior is still in good condition and the 4x4 works perfectly as it should. It also has an upgraded stereo with CD player and new speakers all around. The car has 110k miles and comes with it's clean and clear title in hand. It has the usual Wagoneer rust on lower rocker panels. It also has a very minor exhaust leak at the manafold which they all seem have at this point. However, it has a brand new muffler and tailpipe. Overall this is a very fun and collectible truck to own. The prices of these trucks are really starting to rise. Here's you're chance to own a good one at a reasonable price. EVs are helping eliminate Detroit's gas-guzzling problem. Some revivals of gas-powered classics are getting the EV treatment. But not every revived model looks exactly like its original counterpart. We're in a new era of hulking Detroit metal, and you can thank EVs. Americans can't get enough of their big, beefy trucks and SUVs. But for many years, some of the biggest gas guzzlers fell out of fashion as gas prices rose and emissions regulations tightened. But in the past few years, some of the most iconic American truck nameplates have been brought back to life with electric motors, like the GMC Hummer. In other cases, as with the Ford Bronco, improvements in engine technology and more interest in rugged adventure vehicles made a gas-powered revival possible. Even some revivals that started as gas-powered, like the Chevy Blazer and the Jeep Wagoneer, are now getting electrified spinoffs. (Even if they don't always look quite as sleek as their original inspiration.) Here are side-by-sides of five classic American trucks and their modern counterparts. Is It An Off-Road Adventure Or Just A Walk In The Park?
I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
