For sale is a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. With only 99k documented miles this truck is a sight to behold. This mileage is low considering it's a 25 year old vehicle. The Baltic blue metallic glimmers in the sun from all directions. With brand new Cherry Oak Woodgrain from a professional Wagoneer distributor you will be rolling around in style in the first truly Americana SUV. Extremely well kept and very clean with dozens of invoices from everything from regular oil changes to radiator repairs, and tune ups. This Jeep runs very well and the 4x4 works great! Starts right up and idles smoothly. No smoke! No Leaks, or drips underneath! Steering is tight and front brakes have recently been redone. With an expensive set of all weather aggressive tread tires this Wagoneer is a force to be reckoned with! The headliner is in great shape. Transmission was recently rebuilt and an 1800 stall converter was installed which helps when accelerating from a complete stop. Engine was rebuilt with a good Cam around 10,000 miles ago. New leaf springs were installed a few years ago. Overall this Jeep is in wonderful condition for being 25 years old but it is not a show room quality vehicle.

Recent work includes:

  • New 3M Di-noc vinyl Cherry oak OEM wood side paneling

  • Front brakes

  • Leather seats and carpets have been conditioned

  • New interstate battery

  • Carburetor tune-up

  • Four new tires

  • Alternator belts

  • Hood insulation pad

  • Recently rebuilt engine

  • Recently rebuilt transmission

  • Plastic flex track in drivers window

  • Rear view mirror

  • Brand new wood grain trim floor mats

  • Various rubber bushings and weatherstripping has been replaced

Purchase of vehicle comes with:

  1. Stack of records

  2. Original Jeep owners manual

  3. Three keys specific to this model for ignition, tailgate and doors

  4. Oil change at owners request

Clear title. No accidents! Documented mileage! This is a turn key operation and is ready to go to its new owner! These Jeeps are iconic and have been used in many feature films and advertising campaigns. The Wagonmaster in Texas sells these Jeeps for $60,000 and beyond. This is your chance to score big on a very well kept, well loved, piece of American history. I reserve the right to end this auction early as it is also for sale locally. Vehicle sold as is where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If you are interested please get in contact with me via email. I love this car and I am looking for it to go to a good home. Good luck bidding!

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out

Thu, 24 Jan 2013

With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.
We'll let you know if the gang over at Jeep get back to us with any confirmation, but until then, head over to Jeep Garage to see the pricing details it has listed.

Daily Driver: Long-Term 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Tue, Mar 10 2015

As a fan of the boxy Jeep styling of old, I was disappointed when photos first leaked of Jeep's revived Cherokee in early 2013. Then the midsize crossover arrived in Autoblog's longterm garage in May of 2014 and my opinion did a 180. I was prompted to rethink the exterior design of the vehicle after reading our reviewer's interview with head Jeep designer Mark Allen. "The previous, blocky Cherokee was so aerodynamically inefficient, it would be wrong to do it," Allen told Autoblog's Jonathon Ramsey. That made sense. After all, Jeep is a brand associated with the outdoors, so its only natural that they seek to produce efficient, yet capable vehicles. It was then I began reconsidering the sleek lines of the new Cherokee. What once seemed bland and rounded now appeared streamlined and purpose-built. I also give Jeep credit for the slim headlamp silhouette, which look like no other SUV on the market – a far cry from the distinct circular lamps on Wranglers or squared headlights of past XJs. As I drove our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk on a few road trips, my affinity for the vehicle's comfortable interior grew as well. The seats held up to a nine-hour trek to Montreal, and the Chrysler Uconnect system made navigating the roads and the radio a breeze. Above you'll hear my early impressions of the Cherokee, and below you'll find a previous long-term update featuring Autoblog's Steven Ewing and Chris McGraw. UPDATE: The video mistakingly indicates that the Jeep Cherokee features LED headlights. The Jeep Cherokee, in fact, has daytime running lamps with LED accent lighting. Related Video:
