1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
53,636 ORIGINAL MILES
2 Owner Truck

This is a beauty!!!  I purchased this truck this summer from a fellow in Colorado.  The original owner/purchaser bought it new in Craig, Colorado, from Cook Chevrolet-Olds, Inc. Jeep and Subaru.  He was a doctor there and you can tell by the stuff he collected with it that is was his pride and joy.  He cut out newspaper clippings about the wagoneer, the original purchase invoice and window sticker are with it along with the original book/brochure that he marked in what he wanted to order with the truck! There are also many receipts and service history with the truck.  ****IT ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL KEY FAUB WHICH IS VERY RARE TO FIND***

Here is a short list of the last major service that was done in 2007 with 44,644 on the odom.

Full service, front brakes, rear brakes, rear wheel bearing and power steering hose.

When the first owner died he left it to his neighbor who let it sit in a garage and it didn't get driven much at all.  My mechanic has gone through it thoroughly and has replaced any seals or gaskets that were leaking.  It did have the notorious peeling clear coat so the truck has had a high quality repaint with the original baltic blue.

The interior is in immaculate condition with very little wear.  Everything is original down to the floor mats.

Mechanically it runs and drives great.  This is truly the nicest wagoneer I have ever had and the best color too!

Please feel free to call or email with any questions.  Some other cars that spark my interest that I might be willing to trade:  Pre 1973 Porsche 911 or 356,  Series 1 E-Type Jag, first gen camaro, 66-67 chevelle ss, toyota land cruiser fj40, fj45, fj60 and fj62, pre 1977 ford bronco... NOT interested in your moms 1999 grand caravan!! Must be classic and cool!

ONE LAST THING!!! PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL FUNDING IS IN PLACE BEFORE BIDDING!!!

Jeep brings quartet of concepts to Beijing to show its Chinese style

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

Jeep is making a big play for the Chinese crossover market at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. It has a quartet styling concepts for the Renegade, Cherokee and Wrangler that are inspired by Chinese culture at the show.
Among them is the newest member of the Jeep lineup - the Renegade. Its Zi You Xia concept (pictured above) comes from the Mandarin for "rebel," and it's painted in Warm Chocolate Gray with Dark Anodized Bronze trim, including the 20-inch wheels. The roof, grille surround, and mirror caps are done in a complimentary Dark Charcoal color as an accent. The interior is a mix of dark brown leather and Anodized Copper trim. This is one swanky compact crossover.
The Cherokee Sageland and Urbane concepts are meant to show to different sides of Chinese style. With inspiration from the Shangri-La Region, the Sageland has Ivory Pearl tri-coat paint with bronze trim on the outside, and the interior is covered in Gray Nappa leather with red and blue stitching. The Urbane's look comes from the nightlife in the country's cities. The exterior is a color called Maximum Steel with Hyper Black trim. Inside, it combines Piano Black trim with dark red leather seats.

Land Rover Defender V8 vs. Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 | V8 4x4s square off on paper

Thu, Feb 25 2021

Land Rover pulled the sheet off its 2022 Defender on Wednesday, introducing another high-performance V8 to the off-road segment. This time, it's a 5.0-liter, supercharged V8 boasting 518 horsepower. It will be available in both the Defender 90 and 110 models. In the former, Land Rover says it can crack off a 0-60 run in just 4.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 149 mph. The long-wheelbase 110 will be a bit slower, but "slow" probably isn't the right adjective to use here at all.  But Land Rover isn't the only automaker offering a high-performance variant of its off-road SUV. While Jeep may have been sneered at for presenting the 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 392 on the heels of the 2021 Ford Bronco's introduction, it starts to make a lot more sense in this context. There's reportedly a high-output Bronco on the way, too, so call Jeep the dinosaur of the group all you want, but you can't put a price on being first. Well, you can, actually, but that's not the point.  Thankfully, both Land Rover and Jeep have provided enough specs for us to rough out a comparison chart. Since the Rubicon 392 is offered only in four-door guise, we're looking at the long-wheelbase Defender 110 as its direct competitor here. Have a look: There are a few caveats to mention off the top. For starters, we don't have an official curb weight for the V8-powered Defender yet, as Land Rover has not finalized its U.S. specs. We used the European figures (as provided by a spokesperson), which we expect to be accurate within about 50 pounds. The 0-60 time provided by Land Rover was for the Defender 90, which is smaller and somewhat lighter than the 110. When equipped with the inline-6, the Defender 110 is about a tenth of a second slower to 60 than the Defender 90, so we figure it should be roughly the same for the V8.  While the Defender has nearly 50 horsepower on the Wrangler, that advantage disappears thanks to the Land Rover V8's monster weight penalty, which will fall somewhere between 600 and 700 pounds depending on equipment. Yikes. On the flip side, however, the Land Rover has the edge in top speed, and it's not even close. Chalk that up to the tires, we suspect. We know for a fact that the Rubicon 392's all-terrains dictate its speed limiter; Jeep's own engineers told us as much. This could make for a (hypothetically) interesting drag race, as the Jeep's advantage off the line may evaporate once triple digits come into play.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel

Choose Your Own Adventure... But Choose Wisely
Jeep has got you covered. We can say this without even having to know what it is you want, because there's hardly an option or configuration that you won't find in the 2014 Grand Cherokee. There are three different engines, three different four-wheel-drive systems (plus rear-wheel drive), four different trim levels - not counting SRT - two different suspension setups and five different settings for various off-road terrain conditions. If you happen to check the box for Quadra-Lift, you'll also have five different ride-height settings for the driver-selectable air suspension.
As you might expect with so many customization possibilities, the way a buyer checks the options sheet can have a profound effect on the final product and its capabilities, to say nothing of its price. Nowhere is that more true than with the Grand Cherokee's choice of engines, with the brand-new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 stealing the spotlight from the still excellent gasoline-fueled 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8 powerplants that carry over from last year. No matter which engine you choose, though, it will be paired up with Jeep's new standard eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. This, ladies and gentlemen, is very good news indeed.
