1963 Jeep Wagoneer Original Production Year on 2040-cars
Orleans, Massachusetts, United States
Jeep info:
Clean title Runs good Odometer reads 13K but has most likely rolled over once. The previous owner, an artist, did a complete overhaul on the motor and transmission and started restoring with a headliner and original Arctic Blue paint job. I just threw about $1000. in brakes, filters and stuff (Have receipts). This Original year 1963 Jeep Wagoneer is in a great position to be fully restored to its glory. I have the original door panels, but they are not in the best of shape. I am very honest and will show everything that I can about this vehicle. It is over 50 years old and not perfect, but she runs great and very solid. Jeep is located on Cape Cod and would like it to stay here, but limited space forces the eBay listing. If anyone is local, let me know if you want to take it for a spin. This is listed locally so I can end the auction at any time. I really want this to go to a good home. It is a gem and would hate to see it get molested. I will add more photos and info when I can. Buyer is responsible for shipping, but IF I can help I will. Thanks for looking and PLEASE feel free to ask questions before you bid. I will answer as best I can, though I am very busy AND have a new baby. $500.00 deposit due upon winning bid. And full payment due within one weeks time. |

FCA CEO Mike Manley will take undefined new role after PSA merger
Wed, Dec 18 2019MILAN — Fiat Chrysler Chief Executive Mike Manley will remain with the new group set to result from a planned merger with French rival PSA-Peugeot, Chairman John Elkann said on Wednesday. In a letter to Fiat Chrysler (FCA) employees on the day the two companies announced a binding agreement for a $50 billion tie-up to create the world's fourth-largest carmaker, Elkann said he was "delighted" that the combined group would be led by current PSA CEO Carlos Tavares. "And Mike Manley, who has led FCA with huge energy, commitment and success over the past year, will be there alongside him," he said. He did not say what position Manley would hold. Elkann — who will chair the new group — said there was still much to be done to complete the merger. "Over the coming months we must work tirelessly and determinedly to fulfill all the approval requirements needed to finalize the commitment we have signed," he said. 2014 Jeep Cherokee facing production delay
Fri, 17 May 2013Jeep's bold-faced new direction spearheaded by the 2014 Cherokee is facing some teething issues. According to a report by the Detroit Free Press, production start-up of the controversial new utility vehicle at its Toledo North facility is running about a month behind schedule "due to a wide range of issues." That's according to Mark Chernoby, senior vice president of engineering at Chrysler.
Chernoby maintains that the issues being encountered aren't unusual for the launch of a new vehicle - particularly one with a new powertrain - and he downplayed the delay, telling Jeep dealers that they "will have ample inventory of the midsize SUV by fall." Among the kinks being worked out? Calibrating the Cherokee's cutting-edge ZF nine-speed automatic transmission and refining assembly line tasks to make the process more efficient.
Chrysler expects to start building retail-ready versions of the Cherokee around mid-June, with official sales slated to start in September.
Jeep Wrangler gets the wide-track treatment
Mon, 07 Jan 2013When we read the tip about a Gulf-state diplomat in Rabat, Morocco who had supposedly "merged two Jeep Wranglers," we figured the two off-roaders were somehow linked front-to-back. Oh no. As you can see in the image above, taken from video of that vehicle actually traveling down the road and needing more than one lane to do it, the two Jeeps were put together side-by-side.
The seriously widebody truck is said to have six wheels, one at each corner and two in the middle. That's about all anyone seems to know about it at the moment, and that's probably enough - in these situations you know better than to ask why, just watch the video below.
