2007 JEEP LIBERTY SPORT 4X4 3.7L V6 BODY MAN'S SPECIAL FORMER BANK REPOSSESSION PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING We at CAMPBELL BROTHERS AUTO SALES INC. are offering for sale this 2007 JEEP LIBERTY 4X4 with a 3.7L V6 and AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. We purchased this vehicle from a bank as a repossession and it is in need of body and light mechanical repair. This Liberty has body damage to the following areas. Dent on the left front fender along with fender flare missing, light damage to left front door, left rear view mirror glass missing, right front door molding loose, right rear door molding missing, 12 inch scratch with light crease on the hood, small crack on the grill and paint peeling on wheels. All damage is light and only on the panels listed. All other body panels are in good condition. The vehicle starts, runs, and is drivable. The engine does occasionally develop a light miss at idle. It usually goes away when you rev the engine up. We have not had it proffesionally diagnose but can not foresee it being anything serious. Probably just needs a tune up. The interior is excessively dirty. It has multiple burns and stains. The interior will clean up but it will take some work and time. This vehicle could go either way, you could spend a little time and money on it and have cheap 4x4 SUV transportation. Or.... you could do nothing and make it your cheap off-road toy. We'll leave that up to the buyer. The Jeep Liberty is one of the more popular SUV's on the road today. Kelly Blue Book Retail is over $7,000. AEV Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon

After their rented 2007 Hummer H3 failed them during the brutal Rallye Aicha des Gazelles in Morocco, Amy Lerner and her sister Tricia Reina were on a quest to find the most capable production off-roader for their next competition - they chose a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. Their next mission was to find a company with the competence to configure it to win. After poring over Internet forums and perusing countless magazines for an outfitter who could meet their demanding requirements, they sent their bright orange JK ("Crush" is the official color) to American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) for some modifications.
The Michigan-based team at AEV kept the Jeep's 3.6-liter V6 and automatic transmission stock, but replaced the hood with a tall AEV Heat Reduction Hood and added an AEV Snorkel Kit for water crossings (it serves double-duty as its raised height helps to keep the air intake out of the kicked-up dust on the trail). Front and rear off-road bumpers were bolted in place, and AEV skid plates were added to provide additional undercarriage protection. A pair of IPF-900 off-road lights improve visibility, while a 10.2-gallon AEV Fuel Caddy (located behind the exterior spare) added some range. The suspension was upgraded with a 3.5-inch lift kit with Bilstein remote reservoir shocks, and 35-inch Falken Wildpeak A/T tires (LT285/70R17) were mounted at all four corners on AEV's beadlock wheels.
Jeep Grand Cherokee redesign delayed
Sat, Jun 27 2015The launch of the next-gen Jeep Grand Cherokee is being now being pushed back until late 2018 or even into 2019, Jeep CEO Mike Manley indicated Friday, according to Automotive News citing a Reuters report. Under the original five-year plan, the SUV was supposed to be replaced in the third quarter of 2017. That would have made for a big year for Jeep with a refreshed Renegade and new Wrangler also slated for 2017. A delayed Grand Cherokee could send ripples through Jeep's product plans. The three-row Grand Wagoneer is meant to give the brand a vehicle to take on the Land Rover Range Rover, but it's supposed to use the same platform as the Grand Cherokee. This change is rumored to push that important model's launch further back. There's less uncertainty when it comes to the next-gen Wrangler. Manley said that the model was "broadly on track," according to Automotive News. The five-year plan aimed for a launch in the second quarter of 2017. Controversy, however, has swirled over possible plans to move the Wrangler from its longtime Toledo, OH, factory. One problem Jeep doesn't have to worry about right now is sales. According to Automotive News, Manley said volume was up 20 percent globally and could reach 1.2 million by the end of the year. He also indicated the brand was "on pace" to reach its 1.9-million-vehicle goal for 2018. The Grand Cherokee delay comes in the wake of rumors that FCA US is shuffling around its previous five-year vehicle launch plan to postpone several models. Related Video:
