2005 Jeep Liberty Sport 4X4 in overall good condition and has been mechanically well maintained. It has 104,994 clean highway miles. Automatic transmission and four wheel drive. Priced $400 below trade in value. NADA retail is $8,825 and trade in value is $6250.
The EZ fix:
This Liberty just needs the transfer case replaced. It will come with a 1 year guaranteed used unit. After twisting my back I'm selling as is. Other than this the Liberty is in good condition and runs great. If you can't replace it yourself a repair shop would charge you $200-300 to swap it out. Still it's a great deal for someone. It has a crack in the windshield that we don't plan to fix until spring - gravel and rocks all over the streets here in the winter. We will replace it if sold for more than $5400.
The good:
This was originally a south central Nebraska farm truck. No rust. Recent transmission and cooling system service. Water pump replaced. Good Yokohama tires and good brakes. New Energizer battery. Just changed engine oil and filter with Bosch filter and 5/30 Castrol Synthetic blend.

Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning
Fri, 17 May 2013According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.
